How to unlock the Cönquerer achievement in Brütal Legend - Definitive Guide
For those who don't want to play/win 50 full-length games, I have successfully found a pretty easy way to boost the 10/50 multiplayer wins. However, this method will require both you and your boosting partner to spend 400 Microsoft Points on the Hammer Of Infinite Fate DLC. Once you download that, both of you just need to search the Hammer of Infinite Fate Map Pack only, and it will match you up together almost every time. It only took me and a friend a couple hours to give each other 50 wins, and we never got paired up with anyone else. Just take turns "Surrendering" (Pause, Surrender) instead of quitting, it makes it go by quicker.
Hope this helps, good luck!

When I boosted this the main problem was getting matched up against my boost buddy and not some random player. We both had the DLC but it didn't help us.
By luck we ran into two other boosters who did the same thing as us. This made it possible to form two teams with two people in each. You'll be matched up against the other team every time unless there is another team of two playing, which I'd think is rare. For the next forty games we did (we had done a few before this happened), we never failed to get matched up against each other.
So, if you can, try to gather four people instead of two to boost. It'll be quicker for everyone since both players winning will still get a win each when the other team surrenders and you won't fail to get matched up.

That's the best solution.
Guys, do your boosting sessions with four people, no need for the DLC. With only two people, you never know when some randoms can get in your plans. For the past two days, no matter what time we played with my friend, we always had some bothering random players. Finding two other boosters and pairing in teams was the best solution. By surrendering equally one every two matches, you get five wins every 10 minutes.
And don't worry, sometimes it takes 30+ seconds to pair you up with the other team, even though you're the only ones on the servers.

In mutiplayer the power of rush attacks is king. So you need to get a hang of the various rush tactics used by each faction:
Ironheade:
My favourite to be honest, you simply get 2 headbangers and try to get a fan giser each with them, then upgrade your stage and make maximum Fire Barons (6 squads in total, which equals 18 units). Then send em over to the enemy base when it's vulnerable and give them a booster with the battle cry solo.
(Cheers Baron Tanks, credit goes to you for this one):
Additional tactic for Ironheade: If you feel the regular rush is not going to work (using Fire Barons that is), you can try to hide 2+ squads of roadies on a corner near the enemy base. Not every map is suitable for this tactic. If there's one road between your base and their base, don't send the roadies alone, because if they run into the enemy they will become visible in close range. But if you manage to hide 2 or 3 squads away, just setup a defensive force at your own base and wait for the inevitable incoming attack. Then send your roadies to their undefended base. 2 squads takes the base down in less than a minute and it's significantly faster with more. Additionally you can use battle cry on your roadies and rock block on the enemy stage to dramatically increase your chances in victory. This one works for me about 90% of the times and won me about 25 of my necessary 50 matches. The trick is getting enough roadies before your stage gets hit, which can be tricky since upgrading twice = 700 fans and roadies are 200 each. One of the maps where it works best is on Feeding Area, since stealthed roadies will not get attacked by the fleshworm. I just hide them there till the enemy leaves their base to attack me.
Drowning Doom:
Make 2x brides and 2x gravediggers. Send Gravediggers up the middle to attack the opposing stage and u and a partner (or just u, it works just the same) Take the bride as a double team to the side of their stage while they are preoccupied with the gravediggers and hide between stage and the little things on the side of stage. Spam ur lightning attack and u can win the match in less than 3 minutes.
(This strategy is from NatasReborn so he gets the credit :D)
Tainted Coil:
Simply use 2 battle nuns for the gisers and upgrade the stage and recruit a warfather (maybe an overblesser to make a superior warfather). Then when you can make lots of skull rakers. If you have spare cash ready a bleeding death and summon it when the attack is happening.
General tips:
Always boost the army with a solo.
Try to use rock block on when attacking as Ironheade so the enemy can't make units to stop the attack.
Make a flag rally point at the stage so new units made can replace old ones when made.
If you're on the 'Dry Ice Quarry' map use the low visibility to hide your army and wait for your enemy to leave their base.
If you're having trouble try use stronger units for each faction, or save up for the super unit (Rock Crusher, Tree Back or Bleeding Death).

I know it's match-making and all, but is there any possible way to buddy up for a game at all?
I guess I'm asking is there any possibility of boosting this achievement? I'm just awful at the RTS side of this game, it's no lie. So I was wondering if there were any shortcuts. Surely boosting will be possible at a later time, when less people are playing.

After an update my stats got resetted and I saw that I'm not the only one. If that happened to you, you have to do it all again until you have 50 wins.
EA servers might have been reduced because as I played the hard part was not to find another player, but to find one who is compatible with you. That's really lame since it's not even a year after the game's original release. However, if you happen to play against someone and the connection lasts until the game starts, a failure counts as a surrender of the enemy (that's the only way I can explain surrenders after 3 seconds...).
Sometimes player search shows you "Human Enemy" instead of somebody's Gamertag. You'll end in a game with no opponent. If you Press "back" it will even say "extreme soft AI-Player". But since you got that game via player search it DOES count towards this achievement. I played 2-3 and the achievement still popped at 50. So I suggest rushing to the stage with some weak troups when that happens to you. I guess it's some different kind of connection failure.
For boosting I suggest buying the hammer of infinite fate for 400 MSP and search there, as suggested before. I bumped into other players than my partner, but they surrendered immediately. I guess they were boosting too.

This strategy worked for me 95% of the time, it's about taking control of the battle in the very beginning. As the strategy for the drowning doom Andreka0 posted is now known to 99% of everyone playing online, here is a new one.
The strategy is for the DD, my favorite faction. You will have to be quick to do this (in the beginning that is).
1. Before the match starts, press the right thumbstick to fly, you can do this between the end of the loading screen and the beginning of the match, this will put you flying before the match begins, now fly over to the enemies stage.
2. Place a beacon before the starting weird color thingy goes away.
3. Create 1 Gravedigger Squad, 2 Brides and 1 Frightwig
4. Play the Summon Flag solo before the first Squad is finished creating
5. Get into the battle, destroy the enemies starting units, this is quite easily done if you're good with the avatars combos
6. Create another Gravedigger Squad
7. Keep creating Brides to debuff, they're a pain in the ass, also create some Frightwigs to annoy the enemy
8. Upgrade your stage when you have some control over the battle
9. Create Ratguts and 1 Organist
10. The enemies Merch boot(s) near their stage should near their end, this cuts off their fan supply and puts you at a considerable advantage
11. The battle is yours, keep upgrading (for Broods) and creating units.
12. At a certain point your enemy will have no fans left to repair or create units.
One important thing:
Make sure you have a steady supply of units to the stage, but don't overdo it, you need some Load for Broods/Reapers/Ratguts.
Most of the people will follow a Fire Baron rush system, they can be easily countered by using Frightwigs and Broods (preferably Broods, they destroy vehicles). Plus that they won't have the time or the fans to create a massive Fire Baron rush.
Most of the people I fought tried it, but failed, some didn't even upgrade their stage to level 2. They had no chance.
Also use your solos, remember that you gain 50 fans for killing the enemies avatar. For me Encompassing Gloom was the end of many of my opponents, they were unable to recover from that loss. Silence is also killing for the avatar, as they can't use combos with the guitar, and they are the strongest.
Good luck, and that you may become a BRÜTAL LEGEND!.

The easiest way into getting this achievement done is to boost it, by doing the "Surrender" method, in which one person surrenders their towers, allowing the other player to get an automatic win.
To boost this game, you will either need 1 additional player, or a gold dummy account, with another copy of the game.
For this guide, I will assume that you have an additional player.
Get the both of you to select Multiplayer. The game will show you an introduction video as to how you play the multiplayer on the game. For now, just skip it by pressing .
The game, does not have any Ranked or Player Matches. The matchmaking in this game is quite unique, as if you invite someone to your lobby, they will be placed on your team. But if you search individually, most of the time you will both be placed against each other. This is what you will both want to do.
Select "Random Team" as the team you'll be playing, and then for search options, either select "Random", or negotiate with your partner as to which team members you are both going to be. If you both decide to be different team members, you will both need to make sure that the search option matches your opponents team members.
When you are both ready, commence the search. 90% of the time, you should both be paired up with each other.
Once done, the game will have a 10 second auto-launch and then the game will start.
Once the game has loaded and the match has begun, decide between the two of you, who is taking the win. Once decided, the person who is losing the match simply needs to press "Start" and select "Surrender". Confirm that option, and then you will see your tower being destroyed. This will give you a loss and the other player a win. Once done, you will be taken back to the multiplayer lobby. Rinse and repeat the same search process for the other person to take the win, and then rinse and repeat again both of you get the achievement.
The boosting overall in this game should only take around 1hr 30m - 2 hours.
Tip 1: You can both check your wins & losses by pressing on your Gamer-Tag's in the lobbies. Here you can keep yourselves up-to date as to who's winning and losing.
Tip 2: There is a DLC Pack in this game called the "Hammer Of Infinite Fate". It contains extra achievements for the game. It also contains extra maps the player can use for offline, or online battles. If your having trouble finding each other in standard multiplayer matches, but you both have the DLC, you can both search for each other on the DLC by selecting it in the search options. You may also get some additional achievements, should you decide to boost on the Map Pack as well.
Tip 3: Whilst searching, if one of you gets a random player which joins and makes the game have an 10 second launch start, the other player can actually save you from quitting the match and researching. The trick is to get the other player who doesn't have a random to invite you to their lobby. Once that other player has accepted it, they will join that other players lobby on the same team, without quitting, or restarting their game. Once this is done, the player who owns the lobby just needs to kick the other player, and then you can both retry a search to find each other again.
Good Luck!
