How to unlock the Iron Fist achievement in Brütal Legend - Definitive Guide

Uses a sorta glitch method to clear Brutal AI achievement which makes it a piece of cake as i did not get attacked by the AI

I tried this on Feeding ground, but i also did the same thing on Hammer of Fate DLC

1. Create 2 sets of Razor girls

2. Meanwhile, go to the centre of the arena (between the 2 stairs) and put the rally flag there. (For Feeding area, i set a rally flag after the worm & i didn't bother to take over the mercs booth)

3. Next fly back to your first set of Razor girls and double team with one of them.

4. Walk together with ur double-teamed razor girl to enemy stage (use the side of the route, not the stairs)

5. Go to the enemy's right side (when facing stage) of stage (stopped just between the right speaker and stage)

6. Keep spamming A until stage is destroyed.

(In the midst of doing all these, continue to create razor girls and nothing else - no need to upgrade stage, etc)

The whole battle would take less than 5 mins. And the 3 times that i have done this (so far), no enemy attack me, even their avatar. They would just stand around me while i destroy their stage and win the battle.

Hope it is clear enough

I tried 5 times of the map from the mentionned DLC pack, and 3 times the game bugged with an error message "dirty disc, please clean it" (don't ask me why, I'm really precautious with my stuff).......... And the 2 other times, it didn't bug but the ennemies killed me...
Then I tried on the "Feeding Area" map, and the first try was the good one! Thank you very much for the tip!

Hi, Vegansound, sucks to hear that your disc bugged on you.

Ya, sometimes the enemy would detect your presence. I also realise that on occasion when the hero shoot me, i'll try to shift my position a bit and they might just ignore u once u shift a bit.

It takes a bit of trial and error, if the enemy refuse to ignore u, i would quit and try again.

Awesome! Got this achievement on the first go in Feeding Ground. The enemy was too busy attacking my razor girls to bother with me and mine.

Thanks! :D

Thanks. Glad that it helps u all to.. This glitch helps me a lot too in the DLC 10 matches.. as I simply could not find any players online to boost it.

Grats Octobot... glad to have helped u. I did also used this method to get the 10 wins for the DLC as i got problem finding players online for the chevios. For the DLC, it takes a bit more of a trial and error, does not always work

Awesome!! Got Iron Fist and Practice Bloody Practice in the same game. I played Ironheade (vs Drowning Doom) on Coiled Remains from the Hammer Of Infinite Fate DLC.

I queued 1 squad of Razor Girls, flew down to plant my rally point on the raised "mound" in between the central staircases, flew back, double teamed with a Razor Girl and ran round the right side of the map to the AI stage. I stood directly in front of the cement buttress (credit to M0KKAN) that sits in between the speaker and the stage. The AI kept spawning Grave Diggers and they often landed within about 3ft of where I was standing but they still just ignored me.

+1 from me

Took about 4 hours of trying, but I finally got it on Feeding Ground. Had to put my flag before the worm, far enough back that they wouldn't get smashed, but close enough to lure the enemies to their death. Ran a pack of Razor Girls around the right, where the enemy was already taking the side geyser, and had to dodge them. Took a bit, but I figured that you just have to hit the front edge of the speakers, and IronHeade has a decent little alcove between the speaker and rock that lets you hit it. The other Eddie just stared at me while I finally blew his stage to shit.

Thanks!

Oh, additional hint that almost won it much earlier for me. If you manage to get Raptor Elk from using Call of the Wild, you can haul ass over to the other stage double-teaming with them, and just one of them with you on it will have the stage in flames in a few seconds. If Doviculus hadn't attacked the other 3, they probably could've taken out the stage themselves if I'd told them to attack.

Brilliant guide. Worked first try, not exactly how you described, but worked nonetheless. I got attacked several times, had to make 5 or so trips with a razor girl, took 9:13, but other than that it was exactly as you said. Map is called feeding area, actually, not feeding ground. Thanks a lot mate!

Great solution. Had to try a few times, but eventually I ran up to the stage and their boss hit me once, knocked me a little to the side and musta put me in the sweetspot and got left alone. took 3:59 seconds.

The tip from Bonus Eruptus helped a lot. Standing next to the stage and the speaker really seems to be the sweet spot.

Sweet. Got it in 4 and a half minutes. The spot to stand in is just to the left of the right speaker where the little metal guardrail barricade ends. Never summoned a flag or made more than two squads of razor girls

This worked great for me. Even when Orphs and her minions killed off my razor girls, they'd just stand there watching me attack the stage, doing nothing until more razor girls came to distract them. Awesome solution.

Holy CRAP this solution is awesome. Even with the enemy avatar attacking me, I still managed this with ease. I did this on Altar of Blood.

Surprisingly, every time I went back to get a replacement Razor Girl from the middle, they had wiped out ALL of the AI's troops... pretty awesome.

Just to help clarify a little, you must be standing right up against the stage: I stood next to the cement buttress against the drowning doom. It looks like the AI is unwilling to attack anything that close to their stage. Their avatar stood right next to me the whole time, but never attacked - she just stared me down and played some useless solo. Thanks for the solution, I never would have had the patience to run a razor girl across the stage like that.

I tried this last night but I don't think I was doing it in the right spot. I found a spot where I never got attacked but I don't think I was actually hitting the stage, I sat there for a good 6 or 7 minutes with no win before they ate my stage. So I don't think I was in the right place for attacking the stage.

On an Ironheade stage there's the hands making the horns (I think) that come down on each side and touch the ground. I had huddled to the right of the right hand, in a little gap, and kept shooting into the gap, but I couldn't tell if I was actually damaging the stage or not without peeking out and them coming after me. I'm going to try it again tonight and work it out. I can see where this would work, I think I just need to figure out where to point myself or if I'm even in the right place at all.

As said above it is best to do with the drowning doom as your opponent while playing as ironheade so you can stand directly in front of the cement buttress. You want to be as close to it as you can get, the razor girl's gun will go inside the buttress, that's how you know you are close enough.

I tried the trick a few times on the easiest difficulty to get used to the controls (it's been 3 years since I last played) and it didn't work nearly as well as it did on brutal. First try on brutal in 3.42.

Only thing that can screw you over is if Ophelia uses one of her damaging solos,
she only used them twice on me throughout the entire match so my razor girl didn't due, but if she does it more often you will need to get another razor girl.

This solution was inspired by PiZzaBit's. I personally tried it but didn't work for me. Here's what I did.

Choose Feeding Area and Ironheade as your team. I picked Drowning Doom as opponent (no difference). Remember to put Brutal Difficulty. Create 2 sets of Razor Girls. Meanwhile, fly to the worm in the middle and place the flag before it, outside of reach of his slam. (Personally, after all was done, I didn't see any difference with placing the flag there. I could have placed it somewhere along the road on the right side, closer to the stage).

Anyway, when your 2 sets are done, Team up with one girl and go to the stage (take the path on the right). At this point, the rest of the girls stayed with the flag and 3 more came with me. Don't bother with Merch Booths and just keep building Razor Girls every time you can. When you get to the stage, just stay on the right side to avoid enemies spawning. The girls behind you will keep them busy. Eventually, enemies will come to you. Just run from left to right, shooting the stage and avoiding enemies. They will probably kill your girl. Fly back to the flag and you will see a group of probably 6-7 sets of girls. Team up with one and have them all follow you with cn_left. Get to the stage and do the same. Shoot the stage and move from left to right to avoid enemies. You can do a Boost solo to give the Girls more strength. Tab cn_LB and then cn_right to have all the girls shoot the stage. Some will fight enemies (they kill the Avatar really fast), and some will help you shoot the stage. Took me less than 5 minutes.

Hope this helps someone.

set up an ai practice map feeding area the reason because in the beginning if you plant your flag to the right near the geyser your team will not commit suicide in the middle of the map but the other team tends to favor the middle, team ironhead reason roadies anyone whos played the game knows these guys are your best friends in stage battles. what you want to do is capture one geyser after upgrading your stage once. then proceed to start making 2 groups of fire barons to go after the ai stage while you save up some fan keep saving till you can get your second upgrade to the stage then youll unlock your roadies. once you have these the match is over simply make one or two or three groups the more the marrier an send them directly to the ai stage an while they attack make a group or two of fire barons or what ever you can afford to keep the roadies alive theyll take a matter of minutes to destroy the stage an pop achievement unlocked (note to all i do have this the site is being lagy if it says i dont check my xbl i do)

It's a lot easier you can do this with a partner go to multiplayer and choose AI battle choose map feeding area like everyone else says the put AI. Difficulty on brutal then invite your partner start game and one person go on the right side and head straight for the AIs right side black speaker with the razor girls which is on the hero ironheade we only spawned the head bangers and the razor girls then while the one person is steady attacking the right speaker the other player well keep spawning the troops which we used was mostly razor girls and collecting the geysers on the map all that u can there are two on the left side of ur base just fly over the water and collect them one on the right side of ur stage on the road (edit the player attacking the stage well need to team up with one of the razor girls and spam A on the right speaker just keep doing that and you well eventually win and both achievements well pop for both players and difficulty achievements hope this helps I thought it was way easier Thumbs up

Play as Ironheade and go against Drowning Doom on the Battered Bluff map. First thing, Upgrade your stage once. Now wait until you have enough funds to build some fire barons.

Make about 4 groups of fire barons and use LB to target the enemy stage and go to your troops and use -> on the D-pad to make your guys go to the stage and attack it.

While they attack, use the battle cry to make them stronger and if you can, you can also upgrade your stage and drop a zeppelin on the stage to do more damage. You may have to attack the other team's leader to keep them off your troops but it shouldn't be too hard.

Keep the Fire Barons coming and you shouldnt have a problem getting it. It only took me 4:28 to win the match my first try.

The trick to this is that the other team is busy getting merch booths set up and it is a big map. So they will be busy doing that with low level troops and you are free to take down that other stage!

The game may not play in your favor the first time. If that happens, try it again.

The new maps available for download are not big enough to try this fyi.

This trick also works for the no attacking achievement "Armchair General" but play on Gental and stay at your base and do not attack.
