This is awarded for achieving one of the four endings of the game. This is the easiest to unlock as it is the neutral ending. So simply play the game normally, answering your buddy how you want and not really focus on s pecific list of tasks to complete and you should get this without issue.

This is one of the four endings, and of the four is the most likely and most "neutral" ending. This comes from giving a mix of positive and negative responses to your buddy, interacting with one/some glitches but not all of them, sometimes listening and sometimes ignoring instructions. As the positive and negative endings are much more demanding of a consistent alignment, this is pretty hard to miss and even quite possible when going for other endings (sigh).
After defeating the Snoodlewonker when you are told to kill your favorite animal, do so. This will avoid any last-minute remaining chance of getting the good ending.
This ending has a much longer game-playing sequence at the very end when the game is in 3D. Afterward, you'll receive a song "You and I" (which is absolutely amazing, definitely give it a listen) as well as this achievement.
