How to unlock the Cooking Maestro achievement in Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling - Definitive Guide

Completed the main quest, and enjoyed the experience to the point that you didn't spend much time cooking? Well, it's now time to spend a couple of hours backtracking to buy ingredients!
...that is, if you want to do this the normal way. However, normal is boring and tedious. Let's do this quickly so we can get to other tasks! On Metal Island, there's a cooking enthusiast who writes blog posts about recipes.
Nobody reads blog posts though, so let's just cut to the chase and buy out all the recipes without knowing anything prior to the knowledge fed to us through the power of laziness. The amount you need to pay varies on how many unknown recipes you have. You can farm berries at the card tournament if you're low, although you should have enough if you stored berries at the bank.
The only recipe(s) you'll need after this are Crisbee Donut, Tangy Carpaccio, and Queen's Dinner, which are all related to side missions. You'll also need the Mistake and/or Big Mistake, respectively. Just mix two incompatible ingredients together for a Mistake, then recook the Mistake for Big Mistake. There, cooking prepacked food like a pro. Ramsey would be disgusted, but also approve. Don't forget to feed Vi the Big Mistake after you're done, so she won't have the energy to be greedy.

Something important: you will also not get the recipes for the Crisbee Donut, Tangy Carpaccio, and the Queen's Dinner. However, if completing the side quests too, those will come naturally. It might be worth a mention however.

Thanks for the details. I had finished those side missions prior to this, so I wasn't aware they would be excluded, although you need to do those side missions regardless.

- Scroll a few times to the right to see the Recipe Book
70 total recipes and in-game it fills out the recipes you have completed.
