How to unlock the Got to Catch Them All achievement in Bugsnax - Definitive Guide

A large amount of these you will collect through normal story progression and side quests throughout the game. I recommend finishing all side quests first anyway as it will benefit during the last mission. After beating the game you are set back to before the final mission so you can keep collecting anything you missed.

8 of these will be caught during the Legendary boss fights which you will come across while completing sidequests. Each boss has a smaller and final unique snak to collect, the smaller ones being somewhat missable but you can replay the boss fights later.

Garden Grove: 9

I'd suggest using https://bugsnax.fandom.com/wiki/Bugsnax_Wiki for strategies on any specific bug you're having trouble with

Just to add to the above, catching any of the 11 from Broken Tooth counts towards the 100 needed for the achievement.

Yeah, I was concerned about the name of the achievement meaning you'd need to catch all the Bugsnax (I never tried adding up the totals in the menus!)

Thankfully, the DLC gives you some leeway so you can miss a few of them and still get the achievement

The BUGAPEDIA lists all areas and the number of bugsnax scanned, found, not found and captured. Great reference tool.

Hit the back button and tab over to it (the 3rd from the left).
----------------------------------------------
QUESTION: How do you make it rain in Flavor Falls?
I need it to rain to scan/capture the Caramel Poptick, my final Bugsnax.

ANSWER: To find rain, go to any bed (there are none in Flavor Falls), and keep sleeping until Noon until you wake up to rain. Then fast travel to Flavor Falls via the map and find/scan/catch some Caramel Ticks.

Blip! Achievement unlocked!

There are 100 Bugsnax available to catch in the game so you’ll need to capture all of them for this trophy. Their locations and what you need to catch them all can be found in the Bugsnax Collector Guide found here. Once you’ve collected all 100, the trophy will unlock.

Another common problem is the burning cheese crunch in Bubbling Bay, I haven't seen a description of my method of catching it anywhere. Everyone recommends baiting the cold stick insect, but I only succeeded with diet pop, which hangs out in the sea opposite the exit from the cave with the crunchies. She reacts to cheese sauce, and if you smear it on a beetle ball, you can lure her into the cave to the cheese crunchies, where she herself will start shooting at them. After all, you can also shoot cheese sauce at cheese crunchies.

Got a little stuck in Sugar Forest trying to catch the Rainbow Candy. I managed to do this only after using a throwaway cushion I threw the suction shot onto the rock where this little bugger sits down to rest. Then I chose a higher tree beyond the trajectory of her flight and secured the second end of the tripwire at the very top.

There are 92 regular bugs + 4 pieces from legendary bugs (mini-bosses), you must catch them during the boss battle + 4 legendary bugs. Total exactly one hundred.
The battle with the cake opened for me only after progressing the quest with Eggabel. You can do everything calmly until the last party.

Everyone described a lot of how to catch rare and critical ones, but did not indicate one more important detail - you need to catch 100 pieces and for the trophy it is the number that counts, and not everything in the game. Therefore, bugs from the add-on also count! If you go for 100% of all trophies in the game, I highly recommend going through the additional stage first, and then catching bugs with this trophy.
In addition there are 10 beetles, most of which are for catching purposes.
Therefore, after completing the expansion and achieving this trophy, I didn’t bother with those that rarely appear. Good luck getting the trophy!

I’m also the last one left with “burning cheese crunch”. According to the guide from the forum, I spent a long time, but I still couldn’t connect the cold-stick insect, the foundling and the yum-trap. Following the advice above, luring diet pop also didn’t work; it doesn’t go far from the water after the beetle, but comes back.
If this is the case for you, try my method.
We go into the cave, lure the cold-stick insect out of the side passage (he will stupidly aggro at you). We take the suction shot and attach it near the entrance to the cave. We shoot the suction cup at the ceiling, diagonally, so that the cable intersects part of the trajectory of the flying cheese crunch, which passes over the ground, and not over the lava. We continue to tease the cold-stick insect by hanging out near the exposed suction cup: you need it to rush at you and freeze the suction cup. Then all you have to do is wait until the cheese crunch hits the frozen cable. Voila - it falls to the floor already cooled down, just pick it up with a net.

There was a problem with the Waffle Sausage yum in Sparkling Springs. The description says that it appears during breakfast.
You need to go to the triangle and press .
