How to unlock the Midnight Snak achievement in Bugsnax - Definitive Guide

After getting Gramble to come back to town, when he's asleep he walks around the area, and if you choose not to wake him up you're able to feel him bugsnax.

I accidentally talked to him first and then he locked himself in his house. If you wait until midnight then wait a few minutes after that, he'll eventually come out again and you'll get another chance at it.

thanks, was wondering how the fully transform everybody one worked. this is pretty mean spirited to do to the poor guy though laugh

Due to Gramble's aversion to eating Bugsnax, you can only get this trophy by feeding him a Bugsnax at night. You need to make sure he's sleep walking, and when you approach him, you will be given the choice to wake him or don't, as well as feeding him. When you see him again when he's awake, you'll see that he regrets what was done to him, and is none the wiser that it was you who forced it upon him.

Change he time to midnight and find him sleepwalking, you can then feed him.

Poor Gramble. This achievement is kinda messed up. Gramble loves the Bugsnax you donate to him like family. He refuses to eat them. Once he has come back to Snaxburg, sleep until midnight.

At midnight he sleepwalks outside of his house. You can talk with him while he is asleep and feed him Bugsnax. The achievement unlocks after the first snax.

This is also how you will fully transform him for Feeding Frenzy (70G).

You’ll need Gramble to return to Snaxburg before you can transform him and you’ll also need to wait for it to turn into nighttime (more specifically, midnight). During the day, Gramble is the Bugsnax-loving, wouldn’t hurt a Sweetiefly Grumpus. At night, however, he turns into a sleepwalking-doesn’t-know-any-better Grumpus who will gladly eat whatever Bugsnax you feed him. You can skip ahead to midnight using any bed if you don’t want to wait for the clock to run. Once it hits midnight, keep an eye out of Gramble near his barn. You don’t need to transform him completely for this specific trophy. You just need to feed him one Bugsnax and transform one part of him to unlock it. Make sure you hit :triangle: to feed him and not square.png to wake him up. If you wake him, you’ll need to wait until the next night before you can try feeding him again. 

While only one is needed for this trophy, you’ll still need 13 Bugsnax total to transform him completely for Feeding Frenzy trophy_gold.png .

According to the plot, Grumble basically does not eat bugs, but by the end of the playthrough (perhaps after completing all the side missions from him) he will begin to sleepwalk around Hrumburg at midnight. You can feed him in a dream.
