This achievement is for completing the extra missions, which were released as DLC for Bugsnax on its initial release. A ways into the story, you will get the mission “Shake It Up”, which begins the trek to the new island.
Once on the new Island, each of the characters has a string of missions to complete. This will involve catching 8 of the 10 new standard Bugsnax, opening all of the areas of the Temple area, and completing a few small puzzles. I wasn't able to go to Broken Tooth until after I had finished the main story and reloaded the point of no return save.

Broken Tooth Island is unlocked after you have completed all of the sidequests. It starts with Snorpy asking Chandlo to go to the beach with him.
Once on Broken Tooth there are 4 quest lines that you will follow: Triffany, Floofty, Chandlo and Shelda. None of them are terribly long.
Once you have completed all of the quest lines you will get a final quest to fight another legendary Bugsnax.

After arriving at Broken Tooth, you will be tasked with investigating the island in a series of quests such as capturing bugsnax and completing puzzles with your buggy ball. Once these quests have been completed, you’ll need to capture the boss, Cheddaboardle Rex.
This fight has four phases:
Phase One: You will need to bait the boss into throwing a Cheddorb onto a catapult which you can do by standing behind it and can then launch it into the boss by using your grappler. Once a catapult has been used, it will be destroyed, and you will need to move onto the next.
Phase Two: Once the available catapults have been used, you will need to use shrink spice on the Cheddorbs and it will roll into a hole and expand revealing more catapults. Repeat the process from phase one until these catapults have also been used.
Phase Three: Two ramp launchers will appear, and you’ll need to bait the boss into throwing a Cheddorb into its path and then grappling to launch it. The boss will also throw rocks at you so you should move aside during this phase as it can block the path for the Cheddorb. As with the catapults, once one has been used it will be destroyed and you will have to use the one on the other side of the arena.

Once it gets to the end, it will be launched into the boss which will shatter its lid making it susceptible to shrink spice.
