Didn’t pop for me and i had finished the story, had to replay in chapter select

Didn't pop for me either on first playthrough. Just played through the chapter and one I was finished with the mech and he takes the device off his leash hand it pops.

Story related and cannot be missed.

This will unlock at the end of Act 2. You will be able to control a mecha-Godzilla for a while, killing all enemies in it’s path. Eventually the mech will crash and burn, unlocking this trophy.
