How to unlock the Anarchy Master achievement in Bulletstorm - Definitive Guide

********** EASIEST METHOD TO DATE ***********

This is much more doable and easy with only 2 people on Deadrock.

Player 1 stands on the scaffolding above the vortex.
Player 2 stands down low on the scaffolding next to the vortex.

Slide kick the enemies and the other player grabs them pulling them into the vortex awarding you: TEAM - Not in Kansas, Shocker, and Yoink. (Sometimes Gotcha for the right enemy). Then you add the flail to it and get Team Sadist. So thats 200, 100, and 75 points x2 then another 100 x2 for team sadist.

Lvl ups
Leash Fully Upgraded
Defense/Speed - Fully Upgraded (ignore Power)
PMC fully upgraded.
Flail Gun fully upgraded (ignore charges)

Me and a buddy did this last night and got over 60k and we made mistakes. over all we both got over 260k waves 1-20. This is by far the easiest method to get this having only 2 players is a huge benefit to making it more simple. Video in the comments highlighting just how easy this is. Also this is more than likely the fastest way to get to lvl 65 as well. i went from 58-62 in just waves 1-20 once doing this last night.

We did like 200k+ over the 20 waves and nothing. We did private tho, does that matter?

Yep, did this today. I used a different video but wanted to see if anyone put up a guide using only 2 people. Glad someone did, it can be annoying getting 4 people to sit down for an hour+ for one achievement. I would add that the flail gun isn't necessary though, from the video I watched they used it but it's completely unneeded. As long as they kill the bosses using team Whiplash and the get the team challenges they should get more than enough points to get 50,000.

Used this method tonight as well, we messed up several team challenges and minibosses but still had points to spare, finished with 52,000.

just finished this...took about 2 hours. we made a few mistakes, but still finished with 56k+. the achievement popped when we still had 14 guys left.

positive vote for the two person method. definitely the best method IMO

great solution. i did it with 2 other players though and it worked really well. the third person acted as support and it helped out with bosses and picking up downed players.

I also think it is easier with 4 people. The more people who are playing means the more enemies that will spawn, which means more points that can be gotten.

Good solution, worked a charm, though on the final wave we do only get 50,155, so a close call!

Scratch my comment about the number of enemies. No matter what, they stay the same. I still think it is easier with more people because the extra people can run around and buy the two tornado players more time.

Any tips on dealing with the sniper wave? You can't leash them so what's the best way to maximize points on that level?

Might be useful to do with more people.. if you get a team skill shot it only counts between those two people, but if you kill a boss or get a team challenge, it counts for everybody participating (ie. successful team challenge with three people = 1500 instead of 1000)

I tried this with just 2 people and had trouble getting it. It is much easier to do with 4 people. 2 working the tornado and 2 working the mini bosses/team challenges. It took a few tries on round 20, but finally got it.

We did it with 3 people. One downstairs and another one upstairs. Do Flail + Kick then leash into vortex. You get 4 to 5 skillshots of 900 - 1050 sp. The 3rd one helped with bosses, reviving, and distrating enemies. Take your time with each one. Don't waste any kills, get all bosses with Double Penetration and try to get all Team Challenges. Use flail as much as possible when leashing into vortex. With snipers, you can shoot them a couple of rounds then leash or kick, or you can flail them and then leash or kick. We got very unlucky on many kills, and still managed to get +50K. In the end if you are close, just let one guy die and keep reviving him. you get 50 SP. Make sure you leave a couple of enemies alive.

If I could suggest putting it front and center that this must be done on a single wave, as it doesn't say it in teh solution and from how the achievement is written, doesn't imply it either. Until i read the comments I didn't know this.

Deff vouch for it being easier with two.
We had 3 and was finding it hard to get 40 let alone 50.
So one of us died away from the others ( you just fall down you don't actually die ) and it was lots easier. It popped for everyone while one of us was "dead"

My group found this easiest with 3 people. With the third person standing near the pipes. Each person only grabs enemies from the person on the right of them to avoid "tug of war" bonuses. Having extra people appears to give more points for the team challenges as it looks like everyone gets the bonus (500 x the number of players). I don't suggest having 4 people as we had issues with the game crashing when we tried it.

Word of caution: if you grind out revives you'll want to ensure that you keep a few enemies alive as the revive is tied to your kicks which do damage when they inevitably magnetize to the closest enemy.

Once the final enemy dies on Wave 20: you complete the match and have to restart entirely (although both players dying will reset you to the start of Wave 20 so you can stay there indefinitely to grind runs).

We hit 50k with about 10 enemies left, there were about 70 in total, bosses included. Ensure that you team kill all bosses and that you loop around when things get hectic so you don't waste points through enemies blowing up their own buddies.

Actually I was mistaken -- it is 50k on a single wave, which is why it's only possible at the very end of an Anarchy game (wave 20). You basically need someone who's quick on the mental math while still killing effectively because you will just barely squeak by the achievement requirement, and someone has to keep track of whether you've enough potential points left or to die and restart the wave.

Me and some friends recently discovered a neat trick with regards to this Achievement. In short, we discovered that once you've achieved the necessary 50000 point score in a wave you can then use that lobby to easily hand out this Achievement!

Basically, once the score has been reached, stop killing stuff and invite someone into the game, then simply increase the score any amount (letting someone die and then reviving them is a good quick way to do it). The moment that the score goes up for any reason, as long as the total is over 50000, the Achievement will unlock for everyone, even if they just got there! This could theoretically be your very first Achievement in the game this way! You can use this to potentially pass this off to TONS of people at once, just get the points and then cycle everyone in, reviving all the way.

This may seem obvious to others, but it was something that I only just learned today -- every team skillshot counts double toward the team score, since the amount is added to the individual score of every player involved. For instance, one kill for 450 SP adds a total of 900 SP to the team score. This can be determined pretty quickly just with a bit of math -- 500 points per enemy over 72 enemies on wave 20, you're well short of 50000. Take into account, in addition, that many of these enemies are bosses (I'd wager on 20-25 or so) that you can rarely get 500 points for each, and there isn't a pair of gamers alive that can put all remaining ~50 enemies into the tornado without screwing some up.

Why mention this? You can figure it into whether or not you'll meet the achievement requirements with the enemies you have left. For instance, if you have a team wave score of 45000 with 5 enemies left, you're golden if they all go into the tornado/team challenges are completed correctly (since 5 * 500 * 2 = 5000).

The terrible leash mechanics, latency, friendly fire, cannoneer and maniac flailer explosions, and umpteen other things guarantee you will just barely squeak past the requirement for this achievement.

Got this achievement last night doing it 2 player! It can be made easier by combining with the Revive boosting method.
We both made quite a few mistakes and ended up with around 41,500 points and 3 enemies left, so we just kept letting one player get downed and the other person reviving them, this gets the reviving player +50 points each time. Doing this it took exactly 1 hr and 2 mins to grind for the remaining 8,500 points, and the achievement popped right away during the round.
It's a safer way of making sure you get it, just remember to make sure the remaining enemies are far away from the person you're reviving, as you don't want to accidentally kick them into a cactus, also scale the revive boosting time for the amount of points you and your buddy have towards the end of the wave i.e. if you've got 45,000 points, it should only take ~25-30 mins of revive grind to get the remaining 5,000 points.

First I'd like to thank Darkchyle, Raegarin & Spit5ire for helping me with the achievement.

What you'll need:
4 players, all with mics & in party chat and committed to work together.
(Credit to EchIlIon: "Just wanted to add that this achievement is possible with just two people.")

Duration to complete:
Roughly 2+ hrs, depending on teamwork & familiarity with the flow of performing team kills. More time required if you are unable to get 50,000 points at the last level (level 20), see below for details.

Achievement will unlock during the game, once the combined team score reaches or exceeds 50,000 points in a single wave/level (which is usually the last wave/level).

We played on Public match, but the achievement can also be unlocked in Player matches.

Map:
Dead Rock, level requirement 30,000 points.

Player placement tips:
All 4 players spread themselves around the electrical vortex.
Player A up top near the metal platform facing the electrical vortex.
Player B at the pipe area nearest the metal platform near the cliff. (You'll need to crouch or slide under the pipe)
Players C & D spread themselves out near the dinosaur skull.

Tips to score points:
Pair off, Player A with Player C, Player B with Player D.
General idea is for Player A to kick enemies towards Player C so that Player C can leash them into the Vortex (& vice versa for Player B with Player D) - not only will both players earn Individual Points but additional Team Points as well. Communications is vital to make sure your partner is ready to leash and kick in their general direction. If your partner is not ready, kite the enemy by running around, even if you can't maneuver at the highest defense level you'd be able to withstand alot of damage.

You should be getting points for skills like Gotcha, Yoink, Not in Kansas.
Avoid double-leashing for Tug-of-War, it won't score as much points unless it is a bonus Skill Kill target. (Credit to Spit5ire: For additional 100 points, use the Flail gun on the target before starting the team combo)

Don't kick enemies near the edges, because the Vortex might just suck them in and deny you & your partner the chance to leash them. So once the enemy is attacking you, check with your partner if their ready, warn them you're about to kick, move back abit from the edge to pull the enemy towards you & kick. Your partner should be able to see the blue-halo outline of the enemy and leash them.

For Player B (see player placement guide above), because of the lack of space, kick your targets along the path instead of towards the Vortex. Your partner (Player D) should still have enough reach to leash your targets.

The goal is to score as much Team points and to complete the level requirements early for additional bonus points! We scored an additional 1.7K points by reaching 30K points with about 27 enemies to spare.

For snipers & fast enemies, just slide towards them & let your team mates leash them. You can also slide under the pipe area for Player B.

If a boss enemy appears, best to ignore the normal enemies and try to help your friends take out bosses. Working together you can also score Team Points like Whiplash or Bossed which are both an additional 300 points each! Boss enemies can be tricky at higher levels, so co-ordinate your attacks carefully. Damaging or killing Boss enemies can cause area damage and kill normal enemies (like the Cannoneer's exploding backpack) so watch out that taking out Boss enemies doesn't deny your team of potential Team points from normal enemies.

For enemies that reward points for skill kills, kite them to the location and kill them together with your team mates.

Skill & weapon management:
1. Upgrade leash, defense & speed (roughly in that order).
2. Those players with excess points should upgrade to Thumper early on in case enemies with skill challenges like Slamdunk appears (I think we encountered our first Slamdunk around level 10).
3. Concentrate only on upgrading the default gun's speed & ammo. We didn't find other weapon unlocks & upgrades useful, and may kill off normal enemies too early. We didn't bother with Charges for the default gun.
4. If a player finds himself low on purchasing points, swap places with Player A (see player placement guide above). We only did this once to help a buddy who had lower points.

Level 20 tips:
1. If you have 10 enemies left & still have not unlocked the achievement, please check with your individual points & total it. If you still have alot more to go before hitting 50,000 points, just get all players to commit suicide and restart the level. If you don't and end the match, you can't restart the level to score 50K points. We did this once when we had only 7 enemies left and were under 40K.
2. The game will spawn multiple enemy bosses so watch out. Work together to take them out. Be prepared to revive downed team mates, yes it does happen.
3. Credit to CloakedVengance: "One thing to add if you are at 48/49k you can leave 2 or 3 bad guys alive and keep getting downed and then reviving people for an easy 50 points a time, we used this method to get us over the finishing line."

I really hope this help those still struggling to get this achievement, we had plenty of close calls but tons of fun playing this game mode.

Just to add to Maathyas level 20 tip.. make sure at least all 4 players have score points of 10k for easy counting to the 50k mark.. great game and teamwork guys thou I screw up a few times ... lolz

@XBr0ck SampsonX: You mean if you joined a game at Wave 4, would you still get the achievement? Yes as long as your total team scores 50,000 in a wave. It can even be at Wave 1 if you have the time to do the revive method.

We had a friend join us midway through a game (coincidentally we were at Wave 4) and he got the achieve on Wave 20. With about 20+ enemies to spare.

At the end of wave 20 we hadn't gotten the achievement and I got bugged and the final enemies couldn't kill me. I dropped and rejoined and we were able to all get the achievement a few tries later. Only problem was I had to start with no upgrades, so it took 2 waves to get enough points for me to regain fast recharge on the leash and defense.

Here is an alternative method the ones described above if you own the gun sonata dlc. You only need two people for this but can have more if you wish. What a buddy of mine and I did was play to wave 20. We both upgraded fully our leashes, thumper, personal skills, and a few of our weapons. Gather all the small enemies, everyone smaller than the bosses, near the bell. One player thumps them in the air and the other either leashes or shoots he bell right as they are about to fall. Timing is important he re because you can either get only 200 for flyswateer or whatever it's called or as much as 600 per kill depending on your timing. It is a less tedious and way than using the tornado place in my experience. Also when you focus on the bosses, make sure to get as many team bonuses as you can. With a bit of luck, you will get there. We ended up with about 53,000. Give me a positive or negative vote I don't really care.

AFK method very easy

for this solution you are going to need 2 copy's of bulletstorm 2 xbox360 2 accounts (or boosting partner) and one rapid fire pad

play on Deadrock
at the edge of the map balcony where you can see the view beyond the map right go up them stairs then stand in the left corner after that with your second account stand in front of your main account if done properly you will shield your main account so he can not get hurt right get to wave 5 then kill everything but gunner bad guy's the mini boss will also spawn dont kill him as well they will stay away from you and shoot ur 2nd account keep reviving him pressing B on ur pad
giveing you 50 points a time

now rapid the B button down leave 6-8 hours achievement unlocked 30G

ive tried to explain as best as i can if you are stck messge me and ill try explain better

How we got it with 4 players.

Dead Rock. Play until you get to wave 20. Players one and 2 need full leash recharge and full Flail gun ammo.

Player 1 - up top on the scaffolding.
Player 2 - other side of the twister.

Players 3 & 4 - Taking down the Bosses and the Team challenges.

Players 1 and 2 slide, leash or kick players into the air ( but not towards the vortex). The other player leashes them through the tornado to get

- Yoink
- Not in Kansas
- Shocker
- and sometimes Gotcha

for an added bonus shoot enemies with a flail before putting them in the air to get Sadist.

When you get down to the last 3 guys just keep letting the baddies down 2 of the players while the other 2 do revives.

NOTE: THE ACHIEVEMENT WILL UNLOCK AS SOON AS YOU GET TO 50,000. Keep doing the downs and revives until it pops or you may have to play the whole thing over again.

The achievement is to gain 50,000 Anarchy points as a team in one round. That means players must work together to gain points. By the end of round 20 both you and your partner need a score of 25,000+. If both of your points don't add up to a sum of 50,000 team points you can have the last enemy kill both of you, and it will restart at the beginning of round 20 for you two to try again.

First create a private match on Deadrock, with you and a friend.
Me and a friend(SKX Sick One) finished this achievement last night with some improvements to the top solution. It is easiest to do with two people to negate the hassle of 4 man anarchy and prevent chaos in communication.
DO THE ACHIEVEMENT IN ROUND 20 with 72 enemies and plenty of bosses.
Both players need to wait until round 20, but while you're waiting to get to 20 for the two hours, yeah I said two hours, you should practice the tornado method to get the needed score to progress to the next wave.

TORNADO METHOD:
One player stands on the scaffolding looking towards the tornado while the other player stands in front of him below, on the ground.

Now on normal waves there will be normal enemies you can grab with your leash automatically without kicking them. We devised a plan to grab on to a friends enemy on their side of the map and holding them until they could shoot the enemy with a flail gun. After the player that shot the flail gun should kick the leased enemy, and the player with the leashed enemy should let go and it will pull the enemy into the tornado. If you can pull this off correctly you can net Not in Kansas(200), Shocker(150), Yoink(75x2), and Sadist(100x2) for a grand total of 700 points per kill.

Now for the bosses during the 20th round you should avoid all other enemies when the bosses show up, and focus on them. To net the highest team points one player should use their charge shot on the PMC, to tear off his armor and helmet with the leash. Once the helmet is off have one player down the boss with a charge shot, and the other player grab his head with the leash and yank it off. This will get you the team bossed(300x2) and team whiplash(300x2) to give you a total of 600 points a boss and since there is 10+ bosses on the 20th round it can get you a total of 16,000 points each player.

What upgrades you will need are:
Leash Fully Upgraded
Defense/Speed - Fully Upgraded with the exception of power
PMC fully upgraded with the exception of charge shot.
Flail Gun fully upgraded with the exception of charge shot.

It is also a great way to level up both you and a friend, for example I started at level 28 and ended up a level 39 at the end of the game.

I've done this twice with 2 different groups, using the Deadrock whip method, only difference that I don't see is we used three people. Two players do the sliding/whipping and all the third guy needs to do is revive, help with team challenges, and kill mini-bosses.
What seems to be what puts it over the top is all 3 players being involved in killing the mini-bosses, everyone gets the points and two players get the extra double elimination. Both times we reached 50K well before the end of wave 20 (10-20 enemies left)

The "I'm fully aware everyone already knows this" method.

Just thought I'd elaborate it on how it went down for us.

4 players on Dead Rock.

2 guys on each side. 1 in front up against railing, the other in back, a little to the side(to make it easier for leashing).

The 2 guys in front are MOSTLY responsible for leashing enemies into the tornado from the other side that are FLOATING IN BLUE. And of course helping their teammates that go down, team challenges and Bosses.

The 2 guys in back and a little to the side are responsible for saying "ready to leash" and waiting for a "yep" from the across railing guys to be ready to leash. Once they get that "yep", they then flail and leash/kick an enemy(keeping them floating blue in the air on THEIR side).

ANY of the 4 guys also call out "boss" every time bosses appear. ALL 4 guys always stop everything they're doing to completely go towards bosses/team challenges to help kill them.

Bosses should be killed 1 of 2 ways. Conservatively for 450 points with an easy double penetration technique. OR... Aggressively by shooting them just enough that they kneel for you to leash off their helmet. Then shooting them just enough AGAIN that they kneel a second time for you to leash off their head. Which in turn gives you 600 points.

Remember, you WILL make mistakes. It's the executing and mastering the Sadist, Not In Kansas, Yoink, and Gotcha method the majority of every single enemy that gets this achievement. And of course not failing many team challenges and making sure to kill bosses for 450 or 600 points instead of just 300.

We got the achievement on the 5th try of the final wave doing it this way. A simple switching up roles is what did it. We didn't switch sides, we switched from being in front to being in back basically.

*Please note that the servers for this game have now closed, meaning that this trophy is now unobtainable.*

This trophy is perhaps the most important Teamwork trophy in the game. You must achieve a score of at least 50,000 as a Team in Anarchy Mode. This can be done with 2-4 players. I recommend doing this with the 2 player method for it's the most effective and efficient way to achieve this high score. Be sure to set your matches up in a private game on the "Dead Rock" map and invite your partner in. Going online with randoms can be annoying for they don't know the meaning of the word "Teamwork". They'll just be after the points for themselves and will only get in your way.

So once you have found your boosting partner with the use of the established boosting thread found here. It's time to start a match and perform those Team Skillshots and Team Challenges. Kill performing these Team Challenges/Skillshots all the way up the wave 20 since the higher you work your way up the more points you two will be able to earn because more enemies will spawn in higher waves.

Some basic standard tips are as follow:

  • Don't play solo. While playing with your teammate be sure not to kill by yourself. Work together for every kill you 2 perform together to maximize points earned.
  • Use communication. Having a headset will help you 2 communicate as a team. If not then start up a private chat room to communicate before the match starts for their is no pausing in this mode to discuss your strategies.
  • Don't go old school. Never do old school in this mode. You'll want to want to perform skillshots all the time. Killing an enemy old school style will only give you a cheap 10 points.

WARNING!

AS OF JUNE/JULY 2014, ALL ONLINE TROPHIES HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED!

EA and NetherRealm Issue GameSpy Updates
The flags on this game were never changed but GameSpy Technology shut down so the servers to Bulletstorm closed. This makes it impossible to get any online trophy, so it's now also impossible to 100% the game.

COMPLETIONISTS BEWARE: THIS GAME CAN NEVER BE COMPLETED.

This is all about getting those team Skillshots and Team Challenges. This is best done with another 3 friends who know what they're doing, so more points are coming in faster. You'll then need to work your way up to the higher waves so more enemies spawn, meaning there's more points to be earned.

First find a map you're all comfortable with and then load it up. Make your way to at least wave 18-20 and prepare to get the best possible scores with little to no mistakes. You'll be aiming to hit 12,000 points each to at least reach near the 50,000 point mark. The main priority here is to work as a team.

Never go off by yourself and solo a bunch of enemies. You'll get no points and waste much needed time where you could be helping others. Communicate between everyone in the party and maybe pair up in some cases. Work out what's around you and what you can achieve but don't take too long as you may miss some good opportunities.

If you find yourself riding solo for a second or 2 and some enemies are onto you, don't be shooting their chests as you'll only get 10 points when they die! Try and get a multiple Skillshot so at least you know you added a little something to the team! Either way, work as a team and this shouldn't prove too difficult!

Boosting Method

You will need to fully upgrade the following:

  1. Leash Recharge
  2. Defense
  3. Everything PMC
  4. Flailgun Ammo Capacity & Speed
  5. Personal Speed & Thumper

This method allows a team of two to reach 50,000 or the Anarchy Master achievement. Challenges and Double Penetration on bosses are still key.

Normal team kills through the Tornado and Flail gun will net you - Sadist (each) Not in Kansas (each). Boss fights you will get the team - Bossed (300 each) and Double Penetration (150 each) or Whiplash (300 each).

For the method you will receive 525 SP per person or 1050 SP for the pair per kill and will get a main four Skillshots (Yoinked, Sadist, Not in Kansas & Shocked)

The main thing you need to do here is similar to the Junkyard method. One per needs to be at the top (Tornado level) and the other one down on the ground at the base of the Tornado. The enemies should start running to the guy on the higher ground. Now all you need to do is Flail the enemy first. Then kick or slide them in the general direction of the Tornado. Your teammate on the lower ground, should then Leash him through the Tornado picking up all the Skillshots mentioned above. Simply repeat this process until you reach the end of all the waves.

If you do not reach 50,000 SP by the end of Wave 20 you can grind out the achievement with the last Team Challenge. Let the last enemy kill your partner, then when he's downed, run over to him and revive him. You get 50 SP per revive, so this may take some time but it saves doing the whole wave again.

You will need to play until you get to the 20th (last) wave, where there will be many more enemies than in the previous waves, so that you can score 50,000 points in one wave. Achievement requires a very disciplined and skillful partner.

There is an easy way to score 50,000 points per wave, but it takes a long time. We play with four of us, reach wave 20 and at the end of the wave we kill everyone except one boss. Next, we gain points by raising our comrades (50 points). Once you score 50,000 points, the achievement will immediately open, you don’t need to count points.

There is an easier way than the tornado method.
  • The main problem with a tornado is that you and your partner are on two different levels.
  • Because of the tornado, you cannot see what your partner is doing, who he is attracting, who he is repulsing, i.e. You should always stand right at the edge so you can see each other.
  • The inconvenience of the tornado itself is that both players are too far from each other, and if you hesitate and do not see the enemy, even for a second, the enemy sent flying will be fried without your help.
There is an exit! We replace the tornado with the fountain from " GrandCentral ".

Advantages:
  • You and your partner are on the same tier, as close to each other as possible.
  • You see everything your partner is doing, the fountain will not interfere.
  • You can easily attract enemy partners by sending them, without the excuse of “sorry, I didn’t see you.”
  • You get the same amount of points for kills in the fountain as you do in the tornado.
The entire boost should follow the following pattern:
  • Both of you are on two different sides of the fountain, one uses a whip to pull the enemy towards him, the second, as soon as he sees that the first is using a whip, immediately takes over the “ball” and “fries” him in the fountain.
  • A pumped up brush gun can serve as an additional bonus; shoot at the adversaries first with a chain, then attract and drown them. Get the "sadist" bonus from each corpse.
  • We first knock dexterous opponents off balance with a tackle, then use the whip to let the second player know that “the patient is ready.”
  • Kill bosses together to get double bonuses; the example of whip + whip on an already defeated machine gunner is quite suitable.
  • Remember that you can score 50,000 points only on one wave, points are counted for the team as a whole, it is recommended to do this only on wave 20, since there are a lot of enemies and bosses there, if you have not scored the required number of points, then leave the last one alive enemy, and let him kill one of the players, while the second one constantly revives him, this can be done endlessly, but be careful, don’t kill the poor guy, as we know, “resurrections” in BulletStorm do not happen the old fashioned way, but with a strong kick to your partner’s ass.
