How to unlock the Master of Disaster achievement in Bulletstorm - Definitive Guide

Both methods are shown in the video.

Method 1: Rooftops
Load rooftops in Echo mode, run into the first room, drink the nom juice, and then shoot a flare at the cieling. After it explodes, hold LB to use your thumper, killing everyone in the room (hopefully) and getting you 2100 points.

Method 2: Collapsed Building
Get to the elevator track without killing the green zombie. Allow time for enemies to bunch together on track. Kill the zombie, while he is close to you to get infected, then shoot a flare above the enemies on the track, and use the thumper (LB) to kill all of them, netting you around 2900 points.

Couldn't get this to unlock for the life of me, I kept trying to blow up the red barrels in the other guide. Nothing.

Tried the Roof Top Echo, I screwed up royally the first time, second time, it worked flawlessly.

I used the first one, the Rooftops technique. Effortless, first try, just like the video. A guy may have even died from the burning before my thump went off, and I still got around 2700. Positive!

First try I got 2000 but it didn't pop. It popped on the second try but I don't remember the point total I had. Awesome solution!

heres a video guide i made just do the 2nd echo and about a minute in youll see a bunch of red barrels shoot them and you should get it.
you need the points from the environmental to be new, meaning at the beginning of the level, do not get an environmental skillshot. if you do you cant get the achievement( thanks to dom2096 for this info)

The above video will only work if you haven't scored an "enviro-mental" on your run. You need the extra points from these being "new" for this to pop.

(Enviro-mental kills being kills scored by using an envirometal explosive, such as a red barrel)

I notice you get 2000 SP after that, the thing is it wasn't 2000 SP all at once like the achievement description leads you to believe, it seems to tally 750 SP + 1250 SP which is of course 2000 SP, just never totaled the 2000 all at once for some reason. The first couple of times doing this, did it exactly like you did in the video, maybe the enemies in the area weren't placed properly, no clue. But for some reason after grabbing the guy in the gyro/helicopter and then immediately shooting him along with shooting the barrels it popped. So just saying if people are having a rough time through this method try and see if this helps as well. Thumbs up.

I think the problem here is the way the game registers the points, it doesn't seem clear on and adding total or an all at once type thing. But it works either way.

The reason *why* you shouldn't blow up the barrels at the start of the echo is because you get more points the first time you get a skill shot. I failed to get this everytime until I did not shoot the early red barrels.

I got the achievement this way without even trying to. I was just playing the echo normally and had the surprise of unlocking it. I said "woot", or so.

I kept trying to get this over & over, wouldn't work for me. I went and did the one Maka91 suggested (The Rooftop Echo), the first time I messed up. Restarted it, boom, worked like a champ.

I finally got it when I tried to SHOOT the 2nd helicopter. I went left to shoot him (and not to hit the barrels in the background) killed him after that quickly shoot at the barrels and it poped!

After a couple of tries at this, the way shown in the video didn't work. As someone said and in the video only 1250 SP came up, don't know if it was a glitch or something didn't tally with it.. who knows. So I tried something different that involved this echo and this situation:

Instead of shooting the barrels right away I used my leash on the heli/gyrocopter to pull the guy out of it and when he was close enough I shot at him but also made sure my shots were aligned with the barrels. That way I could get Parashoot and the barrels which all totaled for 2000 SP perfectly. Hope that works for others. Also as stated before don't blow up barrels or leash the guy out of the heli/gyrocopter prior to this area as the "new" adds bonus points.

it works just gotta not get any environ-mental things before you get to that area thats the key i got it after trying a few times but i always kicked that barrel right at the start

ok, so i tried this 3 times in a row with no success. then i read the comments and it's very important (you can actually notice this in the video if you pay attention) what Dom2096 said.
solution gets a neg vote from me for now, but let me know if you modify your solution to add what Dom2096 said (and give him credit maybe) and i'll change to a positive vote.

On the Echo level "The Mall, play until you are locked inside the room with all the burnouts on them. There will be three waves. First wave has two enemies. Kill them.. Hit the switch. This will lock you in the room. Kill the four enemies that appear next in the second wave.

Now go stand in the corner. (if you are facing the entrance, it's on the left.) Wait for the three groups of baddies to appear, there should be 7 all together. Once they start running towards you, run to the middle of the room and drink the Nom Juice. Go to the back right hand corner and let the baddies start running towards you. Use your Thumper as soon as the first guy is almost to you, this will give the other guys a chance to get close. When the enemies get thumped, you'll get Flyswatter with a 5-7x multiplier, plus Intoxicated with a 5-7x multiplier. Even without the Nom Juice I was able to get 2300 just by thumping them.

I was going to post this as another solution (did it last night after guessing that Nom juice + multiple enemies + Thumper would work), but you beat me to it. Oh well. Great minds think alike. :)

I actually got this achievment doing the second echo mission I believe it's called the club, I went into the disco bar and right where you walk in there is 2 bottles of nom nom juice I drank one and then proceeded to go to the dance floor and just used a charged PMC shot on the mini boss leashed off his helmet ( in between this I was spraying shots at the other enemies) and then PMC charged shoted him again and then leashed off his head and it popped for me. might have been a fluke but hope this helps people!

*EDIT* for those people who posted negative votes please extend the courtosy of tell me why you decided to vote negative how can we be expected to provide acurate helpful information when people vote negativly and never say why?

The way I found to be a piece of cake is on the Echoes level for Jumpship. Right at the beginning as you walk in to the first room use the thumper immediately and it will net you well over 2000 points. Tested it a couple of times to make sure I didn't fluke it and it seems to be a sure thing!

Act 6, Chapter 3

After the miniboss-fight where you get the achievement "Grilled Meat" you have to crouch under a door to continue your way.
After you are through the door, there will be around 8+ mutants running at you. Simply use the Penetrator and wait for the first mutant to come close and that the others behind him are nearly in a row. Than just shoot in normal mode and get some "Shishkebab"-Kills. You will have to try some times, but that isn't difficult because right after the miniboss there will be a checkpoint.

I got 2500 points on my 4th or 5th attempt. try to aim for the head of the first enemy.
And that skillshot wasn't new for me, so if it is your first "Shishkebab", then
you will get even more...

an easy way to get this achievement is to go into echoes mode load up a map with a miniboss and the flaigun.
find the miniboss and stun him with the charged pmc then shoot him with the flaigun and 1 more shot from the charged pmc and pull his head off ntting you exactly 200when trying to get this try not to use sadist skillshot wich is use the flaillgun then kill them by other means because u wont be able to get the 2000

u mustn't have previously done the intoxicated skillshot before this point so u will get the first time bonus which is required or u will miss about 500 intoxicated points toward the total in chapter 2- 1 damesal in distress when u enter the club shoot the first two bottles of nom juice DO NOT DRINK OR IT WILL MESS UP THE SKILLSHOT OUTSIDE after killing the miniboss and everyone who comes into the club thourgh the door go past the door and there is a bottle of nom juice on the middle table drink it and then go out the door there should be three barrels two on the bottom lvl and one on the ledge aim at the barrel on the ledge and wait until two skulls show up shoot the barrel and u should get i believe 2200 point this must be done while drunk

You should take the penetrator with you.
In Act 6 Chapter 3, when u have to disable the generator with the leash. Just run through this area until u see two of those barriers in a row.
At this point about 5 mutants will spawn.
DONT shoot the barrels.
Go left in that little corridor and just shoot with the penetrator in that crowd.
There might be round about 8 enemies in front of you. With the shish kebab skillshot you should gain abot 3k points.

You can do this very easy on second Echo map. Just like on Grayson Hunt video. But you must remember two things. 1. dont shoot barrels on begining of map. Just kill them for 10 points. 2. when you come where this thing flys and barells are on top floor, WAIT few seconds (3-5) and more enemies will come from building! when you see this, the shoot.
First time i rush and kill just 4 enemies and i have 1500-1700 points, but when i wait a bit, then more enemies come up form building, and when i shoot... achiv. pop-up. So yeah, do like Grayson write but just wait a bit.

This is a very simple trophy. You must earn a score of 2,000 skillpoints or more at once to earn this trophy. You will either earn it naturally while playing through the Single Player Campaign or you end up earning it during your Skillshot clean up. I ended up getting mine while I was performing the Meat Fountain - Kill two or more airborne enemies with one cannonball, during my clean up. I would just simply ignore this trophy for you're going to be scoring over 2,000 points regardless. This trophy can be earned in Single Player, Echoes Mode, or even in Anarchy Mode.

There's loads of places you can get this and with multiple maps being used and techniques this can happen in a lot of place. I personally think the 2 below in the video by Maka are the best two and easiest spots!

Opening the achievement is much easier than it seems, the video below shows, in my opinion, the fastest and best way to open it.
