Set up a freeburn and keep doing 1 race series. You should get it in no time.
You can start a race while in Freeburn by pressing start and selecting "Create Match" and setting up the points. Make them really close to each other for the races to pass very quickly. Once you select done, press left on the d-pad again and "Start" and do the race

I'd just like to add, got this achievement today, but it didn't unlock until I had 24 complete events done. so this achievement might be a little buggy

im at 30 events now and still no achievement....do custom ones even count

Go online and set up 1-round races; edit the start and finish to be close together to minimize the time required.

Completing events involves you taking part in marked man, races & road rage. This achievement doesn't unlock at 20 events but more like 22 or more. If you want to get this fast set up a private session with a friend with short races, and other events until the achievement unlocks. I have had issues where it hasn't registered the event I took part in so just keep at it until it unlocks.
