Here are a few general tips to make it less frustrating.
- Learn the shortcuts, you dont need all of them and sometimes they are't really shortcuts. So see what helps you the most.
- Oncoming bonus makes you faster with boost and improves your rating to Awesome so keep driving on the oppesite lane
- Sometimes it helps if you learn the track before trying to attempt to get gold/perfect.
- A crash is always a restart there are very few races where you can get gold / perfect after a crash
- Drifting in corners is a must, in white mounten levels they are your key to gold / perfect
