How to unlock the Ambient Guardian achievement in Cabelas Safari - Definitive Guide

Simple. KEY POINT: DO NOT USE AUTOSAVE. Before starting the Safari go on Options and change autosave to NO. This way if you finish a map penalized, then you can reload your last save. The guidemen will tell you if you shot the wrong animal, once you get this message just pause and restart the MAP, not the country. Once you finish the safari (the hippo/croc double hunt) then it'll unlock.

if it tells you when you shot the wrong animal and you can just restart the mission why turn off the autosave??

Just in case you don't realize you did hit the wrong animal until the end of the level I guess..
