This achievement is earned in the last trophy hunt on Expert mode, when you have to kill the hippo and the croc.
When you first start the level there will be two hippos in front of you, and they will charge. Either run from them, or pull out your pistol and put three shots into each of them. This will hurt them enough to make them run away, but not enough to kill them. Hug the right hand wall and follow it until you get to a right hand turn.
Once you make the turn, you should see the black hippo in front of you not too far up ahead. Pull out your .505 custom and take it down for the achievement.
