Cake Invaders

This one took me a little bit to get as you need more people with guns to defend your Baumkuchen in the later stages. While it appears the bonuses to unlock more defenders are random, what ended up working for me was to keep only the center cake and keep either one to the left or the right alive. Besides those two, let the remainder cakes fall early in the game. This will make the bugs *mainly* attack the two cakes you leave up. This matters as you will lose a defender anytime a cake takes a single hit (if there is no shield). You can still lose defenders that are on the ground level if they get hit by the bugs but a lot less of them will attack the non-cake areas of the map.

Be sure to use your powerups (Y and B) in emergency situations. I also recommend using them when the golden whales spawn as those can be difficult to defeat. I swapped between regular fire mode (X) and the power ups as needed, only using the powerups when needed (not depleting your powerups unless needed).
