How to unlock the In the footsteps of Daniel Upton achievement in Call of Cthulhu - Definitive Guide

Hey y'all!

So killing or sparing Bradley is a story line achievement!

However, here is what happens when you choose either option.

You are in the jail cell, someone will come visit you and speak with you, than go to sleep.

Eventually someone else will come visit.

Get thru this conversation than Bradley will show up.

Now if you decide to kill Bradley, this WILL effect your ending!!! So depending on which one your going for just be weary!

If you decide to kill him, he will hand you his gun and shoot him.

If you decide to spare him, than he will lay on the floor for you to escape.

This game is so glitchy. I have done 3 separate playthroughs of the story, trying to unlock all the achievements that didn't pop the first time around, this is now my only one left. Meant to be story related so should have popped, I followed the walkthrough and let him live, then I killed him, then let him live again, and still not popping. Going to try uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that works. Wish there was a level select option though, absolute pain having to redo the entire game each time.

Jamone this game is haha yeah really glitchy and borked and HEAVILY relies on RNG! I had an issue with the collectibles not being where they needed to be and had to replay several times! I hope that uninstalling/reinstalling helps fix it! I want to iirc that you can go like home screen and be able to reload ur last checkpt its been a HOT minute since i've played this! Good Luck!

Thanks, I uninstalled and reinstalled last night, with the intention of playing after work today. I've been playing spotify via the xbox app in the background while I work and it just randonly popped now, but according to the TA timestamp, it was 22:52 last night. Bit delayed but couldn't work out why it wasn't unlocking at the time. Never mind, game done now.

Story related and cannot be missed.

At the start of Chapter 12, you’ll be in your cell and Bradley will talk to you, you’ll be able to kill or spare him. Either choice will unlock the trophy.
