How to unlock the Big Game achievement in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - Definitive Guide

Note: In the Ps3/360 versions of the game, the Big Game achievement requires you to use a Lynx because the Blunderbuss is not available on those platforms.

Great guide man really helped me out, but i got extremely lucky with a lot of different power ups, had good weapons/perks as well if you want to do the easter egg with me you have my gamertag that also goes for anyone else following these solutions and comments. Anyways, i got all 3 achievements in one go and your guide worked out for me in the end so again thanks so much for making 3 achievement walkthrough videos in just one guidesmile

FYI: The Blunderbuss kill DOES NOT count on the 1st fight (round 13) with Oz.

Does the mk level of the Blunderbuss affect the amount of damage to Oz?

Well, no damage difference, but he was probably one shot away when I got fucking downed for the 2nd time. Bullshit game. What a piss off.

I used a Mk 11 blunderbuss to kill him solo, and each shot was taking 1/4 of his life. (so 4 blunderbuss shots to kill him).

I used a MK 14 blunderbuss and the first three times 1 shot took 1/4 of his health. But for some reason the fourth time one shot didn't kill him, luckily I was able to reload and fire again, killing him, without having to power everything up again. And now I'm finally done with this game!!!!

I didn't downvote but I didn't use your guide because there was no text. A lot of people just want to read a couple of notes and have a go and not watch a video. It's always good to have just text, or text and video. A video on its own will always get negatives even if its good, hope that helps!

I'll give you an example, I just scanned through all these guides, the OZ killing achievements because all I wanted to know was when he appears. I was assuming it would be like every 10 rounds like the big dude in Infection but that's it. Got to round 10, no Oz, so I went to check surely some one would list the rounds! Nope! And I think a lot of people would be like that. I got the blunderbuss first game and I just wanted to find a list of, Oz appears on these rounds: etc. That's it! I didn't vote but if you had that I would give it a positive. I basically give any guide a positive that helps me in the simplest way. That way you would get votes from text lovers and video lovers alike! I have noticed a lot of your videos on Advanced Warfare and that's great you are supporting TA but yeah, it's like a business you are only catering to half the market. If you want positives or just less negatives you got to remember that there are 300,000 different opinions on TA. Don't just write it for yourself. or your friends. Write it for everyone!

Easiest way to do that is, text and video, simple yet informative, and just to cater to everyone write it for a complete idiot, so include the things you thought were obvious.

I bitch about people complaining about negatives (not publicly lol) because I believe it's just a simple system to weed out the easiest and most efficient solutions, however I can see that it is annoying to not know why people put a negative. So I hope my opinon on the matter helps you understand some of the negatives obviously though I don't know who put the negatives they could just be idiots and there are always a few of those!

This achievement is easier than it looks.
When you get the blunderbuss, upgrade the weapon as much as possible.
Also you need the exo-health and the exo-reload (the weapon is pretty long to reload), if you can get the distraction drone, that can be usefull.
At the wave 20, you will be teleported in the circular room, go directly to activate the 4 generators and wait for Oz by kill zombies. When Oz is in the room, go to the decontamination zone but do not activate it, wait for being hit by Oz and being infected then now you can activate the decontamination zone. In fact, If you are infected when you activate it, you will be invisible for some seconds, then you can shoot Oz without being worried about zombies.

A important think is each time Oz appears in the room you can inflict up to one quarter of his max life. If you do it, Oz will leave the room for a moment, if not you will have to activate the generators again with Oz in the room. With the exo-reload, you will be able to shoot Oz at least twice with the blunderbuss, which is enough to inflict one quarter of his max life if you shoot at close range, that's why it's important to be invisible.

You must make your way to Round 20 and defeat Oz using the Blunderbuss. Its ok to use other weapons but the final shot must be by you and while using the Blunderbuss. The Blunderbuss is an overpowered musket looking gun that destroys just about anything in front of it. However it is extremely slow at reloading, so having Exo Reload is a must while using this gun, as it only has 1 shot before you must reload again. It is a random gun out of the 3D Printer and is the best weapon in the game.

*Note* PS3 Version has same trophy but using the Lynx sniper rifle.

Blunderbuss can be obtained from a 3D Printer. During the battle with the zombified Oz (round 20), it is not necessary to use only this weapon (see the video above). To get the achievement, you just need to finish off Oz with Blunderbuss. For the tactics of the battle itself, see the trophy: “How the mighty fell in battle!”
