How to unlock the Deadeye achievement in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - Definitive Guide

Mission: Atlas

For these achievement, you will need to get "Excellent" ratings on the two training ranges. For the shooting range, it is important to always aim for the head (+100) of the red enemies, and never hit the blue enemies. Make sure you do well in the first two rounds, and it is ok if you miss a few in the last round. At the end of the round, the announcer will tell you whether you did poor, average, good or excellent. If you hear "Excellent" the achievement will unlock. There is also a "leaderboard" with scores on it in the same room as the gun range where you can see how many points you got.

The description is a little bit off.
"For these achievement, you will need to get "Excellent" ratings on either of the two training ranges."

Mission 2 (Atlas)

You have to score at least 2000 points in order to get the achievement. You can try again as often as you like if you don't get it right away.

Use your Overdrive when you get the chance and always go for headshots on the red targets (100 points). You get a penalty of -100 if you hit a blue target. Try to hit all targets in the first round, which gives you 1000 points and allows some mistakes in the next two.

During the Atlas mission you will need to score an "Excellent" rating on the shooting range. To do this always try aim for the head of the red targets to score 100, and try to not hit the blue targets which will give you -100. It is still possible to score excellent if you miss a couple red targets or hit one blue target. At the end of the game, you will be told whether you did poor, average, good or excellent. If you hear "Excellent" the achievement will unlock. If you didn't achieve it you can try again.

Pro tip: Try the pistol....I found its way easier to pull off headshots with the pistol, I failed twice with the different assault rifles and nailed it with the pistol.

Try to get all targets round one and two and the easy ones in round three, of course try to get all headshots if possible...let the top ones go by at the end of round three....they are not worth the risk of score reduction and you CAN skip everyone of them and get the achievement IF you scored well the first two rounds.

On mission 2 Atlas you have to score 2000 points on gun range.
Headshots are 100 points. Blue targets -100.

So be careful you can miss a few targets.
See video below.

To get this, in the mission 2 you'll have a shooting test. ou'll need minimum 2000 points o more to have an excelent. headshots give 100 points, to the arms 75 and to the body 50. You can see how to do it in the video.

In the video I speak in Spanish, but I say the same that is written in English in the descryption.

This is far easier than I thought it would be, I got it on my 3rd attempt! Use the IMR red dot sight from the gun rack and just make sure round 1 and 2 are near enough perfect and the final 3rd round you'll have a decent margin for error. Your target score is 2000+ so avoid friendly fire. Also don't forget to use cn_up to use Overdrive on round 3 (Thanks for that mojos dojo wink)

Note: The score requirement may change depending on the difficulty you are playing on, this hasn't been confirmed but it seems to be the case. Make sure you play on recruit when you go for this trophy or aim well above 1700.

Mission 2: Atlas

About halfway through this mission you will come to a shooting range that you need to complete in order to progress. In order to get this trophy, you need to get an "excellent" rating. To do so, you need to get a score above 1700. For every headshot you get 100, chest 75 and rest of the body is 50 points. We recommend using the Bal-27 with the hybrid site as this has decent zoom levels and allows you to get headshots easier. After you finish, if your score on the left hand side computer screen says over 1700 the trophy will unlock. If you fail, then simply restart checkpoint and try again.

You can obtain this trophy in Mission 2: Atlas. After they repair your arm, you will go to a shooting range. Pick up any gun and start. You need 2,000 points: you get +100 point for a headshot on red targets (enemies). Note that you will lose points by shooting blue holograms (civilians).

Mission 2 . https://youtu.be/JFbGLYMhYAg .It’s not that difficult to knock out the trophy yourself; for those who have difficulties, let’s remember where the targets appear from.

The main thing is to score at least 2000 points in three shooting sessions; using Overdrive (slowdown in time) this is more than possible! The main thing is to shoot at the head of the TARGET! it gives 100 points! torso - 75! arms and legs 50 points each!
