Mission: Sentinel

This achievement is a little tricky but not too bad if you are stealthy and play on a lower difficulty.

One you reach the Sentinel HQ, you're teammate will teach you how to tag enemies, how to whistle and how to preform stealth kills using your grappling hook.

From this point on you must get a total of 20 kills with your grappling hook. There are about 30 enemies, so you can leave some behind or shoot them with your silenced weapon if necessary. Concealed Grappling Hook kills can only be preformed while hiding the bushes or on a rooftop. You want to sneak your way around the base using the dark areas and bushes, and begin to take enemies out 1 by 1. You can keep track of your progress by pausing the game and looking at the "Exo Challenges - Kills" progress bar. You will have to do some math, but this is a good counter if all your kills are grappling hook kills. After you clear the first area, you will need to go into a building and disable a system before you can progress. After doing this, go to the second area, and repeat this process, sneaking around the outside of the area and taking out enemies. You should be able tog et 20 eventually.

If you die, it will reload the last checkpoint and you can try again!

for this i believe you cant die, i believe you have to get all of them in one playthrough. i got about 40 or so kills and it never popped, i did this by getting a checkpoint and killing over and over.

Done this 4 times and no achievement popped. When you say you got a checkpoint were you killing the same person over and over?

I got caught twice, and had to reload a checkpoint, but the cheev popped, with at least another half dozen bad guys I could have taken out.

To maxaplata and Dylan xba, I was having the same issue with the grapple kill option not coming up. I hard reset the Xbox and went back into the mission. The option came back up. Yay!

This chievo is not like others where you can sit at the same checkpoint and kill the same guys over and over. You must progress through the level getting 20 kills. The kills you get up to a checkpoint still count, and you can continue from checkpoints if spotted, but you must progress through the level getting 20.

Not too bad on veteran. I got this halfway in the 2nd area grapple only.

Hard resetting the xbox fixed my not being able to grapple issue.

Follow the guide up until the last bit, worked for me, achievement didn't pop on-screen but it was unlocked when I snapped to check.
also I killed the lone soldier in the garage after the 2 civilians went away, but I followed the guide so I'm not sure if that one counts since it wasn't in the bushes but it was from the rafters.

It popped right away while playing on recruit. Got them all in a row. No reloading checkpoints. Maybe a patch fix the issue.

Just "going home" to xbox dash, hitting menu and quitting the game fixed the issue of not getting the "lb" prompt to do these. Just had to reload the game rather than a full reboot of the xbox :)

I stealthkilled all soldiers before the security room, in the next section i stealthkilled a few more and got detected by a drone so i reloaded the checkpoint. I continued through the level killing enemies stealthy a still got my achievement.

Whilst sneaking around after the platforming part of the opening you'll gain the ability to kill enemies from afar with the grapple hook. To do this you must be in a bush and click

which grabs an openingand reels him in to you.

You can reload checkpoints to add to the tally.

Can be an easy achievement to miss. You need to take out 20 people with the grappling hook. You can find 20 people within the first two areas and using whistle to attract them works brilliantly. See the video below for the 20 people I found the easiest to kill.

At the begining of mission 8 you'll start an infiltration phase.You'll have to eliminate 20 enemies with stealth attacks al along the level. It doesn't matter if they see you or kill you.
In the video I speak in Spanish, but I say the same that is written in English in the descryption.

Not sure why this was downvoted - worked fine for me. I *don't* think you can checkpoint/reload farm the 20 though... you'll need to get a total of 20 while working through the level.

Obtained in Mission 8: Sentinel. Make sure to use the grappling hook every chance you get. Easier difficulty will allow you to get this done with ease.

Throughout this mission you will have a grapple attachment that allows you to grapple to surfaces, it can also allow you to grapple enemies and pull them towards you when near an enemy. You will know when you're able to grapple an enemy when you see the button prompt ( PS3), ( PS4).

To earn this trophy, you need to kill 20 enemies using the grapple. There are about 30 enemies in total in this chapter, so take advantage on using the grapple as often as you can to meet the requirements for this trophy. The best method to see most of your enemies, is by marking enemies first so you can see where they are ( on PS4, on PS3), followed by hiding in bushes. The very first section however, is best to pick enemies up by moving across rooftops, as there are not many drones around. Make sure no one in the area spots you dragging an enemy into the bushes though, as you will get spotted, which results in a mission failed screen and you will have to restart to a previous checkpoint. You can tell when an enemy is near spotting you as a blue meter will show on your screen. When you see this meter, be sure to hide. It's also very important to note that drones can easily spot you as they hover around the Estate. Be absolutely sure to tag drones as well so you can spot them easily, but do NOT shoot them.

You can whistle as well with to attract enemies towards you. This is very useful for when there are groups of enemies and you need to split them. The trophy will unlock after you get your 20th kill with the grapple. If you are still having trouble then you can refer to the video below:
