For this achievement you will need to make the acid trap and get a kill at each of its craftable locations. I have made a video showing how to do this if you prefer that way -
Otherwise just follow the text guide below
Where to find the acid trap parts.
Part 1
- When you spawn into the game collect your challenges by going to the banners outside of the towers and knife (
) the rope, this will give you your challenges.
- Complete three challenges and once you do a bowl will spawn in the middle of the area on top of a stand. (When you finish a challenge make sure you hand it in so you can get the next one, this is done by pressing
on the fire that corresponds with your tower's challenges that you chose).
Part 2 and 3
- The 2nd part and the 3rd part are very close to each other, so when you collect the bowl you need to head to the temple, this is basically directly below where you collected the bowl but you need to head into one of the towers and go down then buy a couple of doors and you should be in the Temple
- When you enter the temple stick to the right hand wall and go down the stairs and into a room, at the end of the room on the right hand side is the 2nd part. If you continue straight ahead and head into the next room you will find the 3rd part at the end of the room.
Build-able Locations
** You must place the parts onto a skull which creates the Acid Trap **
Location's 1 and 2
- If you head back to the spawn area and stand where you spawned in, to your right there will be two towers head to one of them and just before you enter on the right hand side there should be a skull where you can hold and apply it, this is the same with the other tower on the side you are currently on.
Location's 3 and 4
- If you head over to the other set of towers the buildable locations aren't just outside the tower but actually halfway up the stairs going up. You will see a skull and can hold again. This is the same for the other tower.
For the achievement you will need to play 4 games and each time place the acid trap at a different location and get a kill with it. Your first run will take the longest but I found when you get used to the locations it only takes about 8 minutes per run.
This is my first long achievement guide and I hope you understood, any feedback would be much appreciated so I can improve on future posts. Happy Achievement Hunting !!

There are 3 parts necessary to create the ACID TRAP:
CAULDRON - Complete 3 challenges and the pot will spawn in the middle of the arena
GEAR & CHAIN - Both are located in the basement of the map in the area labelled "Temple" (where the Pack-A-Punch altar is)
Next there are 4 locations where you can set up the acid trap:
- Stairs of Zeus temple
- Stairs of Odin temple
- Entrance of Ra temple
- Entrance of Danu temple
You need to get a kill with the trap in each of these locations for the achievement/trophy, so just rinse and repeat this process 4 times.
Also you can let your friends use the trap as well you don't HAVE to be the one to build it.

No need to build traps, this can be done playing in the Rush game mode.. Just activate each trap as the area opens... Popped for me when I hit the last one on the stairs...

The Acid Trap requires 3 part before you can craft it. Two of these parts can be found in The Temple, in a corner below a stairway, both on the opposite side of one another. The third part will spawn in the Challenge Podium in spawn after you claim your 3rd banner challenge reward. To start these challenges, knife one of the 4 ropes in the arena and the challenge will start.
There are 4 locations where you can build the Acid Trap, one near/in each God Tower. However, you can only build one Acid Trap per match, so you'll have to do it in 4 different games with it in a different location every time.
- For Ra and Danu, the trap can be crafted in the "corridor" between the arena and the tower.
- For Zeus and Odin, the trap can be crafted on the stairs leading to the top floor.
In the following video I show the part locations and also where the Acid Trap can be crafted:

As mentioned in the Gift of Serket (15G) walkthrough, you build the acid trap by obtaining the two pieces in the temple and the one after completing three challenges. You then interact with the skull to build the trap in that location. There are four different locations, two of them are between the arena and the Danu/Ra towers and the other two are in the Odin/Zeus staircases. However, once you craft the trap it can not be moved, thus this will take at least four regular games to do.
Alternatively, you can get all of them in one game by playing IX in Rush, where all trap locations are useable. You won’t have complete reign over where to go in Rush as you’ll be funnelled to certain places regularly and doors are opened semi-randomly but you should be able to knock out at least two of them fairly easily in a game and clean up the rest in a regular game if you’re not getting access to the ones you’re missing in rush.
Alternatively, you can get all of them in one game by playing IX in Rush, where all trap locations are useable.
