This is the main Easter Egg for Ancient Evil. It will take around 90 to 150 minutes depending on teammates, map familiarity and a bit of luck. Keep in mind that this must be done on Normal difficulty or above.

Recommended Weapons: Any of the God Hands (all are required for steps), Spitfire with the Wildfire mod, MOG-12. Start with Strife w/ Stiletto Knife or MOG if you have them. Wraith Fire is most useful equipment but replace them with the Homunculus if you get it from the box. Bring Scepter as if playing with friends as it can revive them with all their perks just by shooting them. Additionally, it's the most effective way to kill the boss, but make sure you don’t get it to level 3!

Recommended Perks: Stamin-Up, Bandolier Bandit, Dying Wish, Mule Kick. I also like Quick Revive and Winter's Wail.

Recommended Elixirs: Anywhere But Here, Temporal Gift, Stock Option, Aftertaste (if solo)/Nowhere But There (if co-op). The non-classic elixirs can be helpful if you have good ones but are not required.

Note: For more detail and linked screenshots of the locations mentioned below, view the other version of this Guide here: LINK

Step 1: You must light the Eternal Flame in the temple blue by having each player redeem at least a Legendary and Epic reward. While you're doing this, activate Pack-a-Punch and obtain all of the Redeemed Hands (If you're playing with three or less players you don't need to upgrade the Hand of Gaia, if you have four or would like to use it for Step 8, you'll need to upgrade it, though) as well as the Pegasus Strike. See later in the guide for information on how to do all of this.

Step 2: Melee the flame with your shield. You must now melee 3 oil spills with the lit spear. If you put the spear away the fire will go out.

  • Upper Road - On a rock between two statues near the top of the bridge.
  • Intersection of Treasuries - On a wall underneath a red sheet on the left path.
  • Spartan Monument - On the wall to the left of the monument (when facing the front)
Step 3: Near the Zeus Perk are a bunch of large statues. Stand in the middle of them and shoot a charged shot of the Redeemed Hand of Charon at your feet. You’ll notice that one of the statue's eyes will have turned blue, shoot it with the Hand. Repeat this three more times, depending on your speed, you may need to shoot another charged shot at your feet.

Step 4: Around the map are three walls that will be slightly glowing, you must shoot these with any gun, which will break them:

  • Intersection of Treasuries - Building outside the map to the left of the Auger wallbuy.
  • Intersection of Treasuries - Wall directly to the right of the Mozu wallbuy.
  • Spartan Monument - The wall where the monument is roughly pointing towards.
You will see cogs inside the broken walls, one will be moving. You must wait until the smaller, moving cog is in line with the bigger one and throw your spear at it to keep them in place. Once you’ve done all three, you'll notice that the three statues in Stoa of the Ancients will be moving. If you look closely at the temple at the back you'll see more cogs, this time you’ll want to throw the spear so it hits as soon as all three statues are facing the center. If done correctly, the statues should stop.

Step 5: Grab the Gaia Hand and head to Offering of the Attalids (Danu perk area). In this area will be vines that you need to shoot. The first one is on the left side. Then two will spawn around the perk, you'll have to shoot inbetween them to get them with one shot. Finally, three more will spawn up and to the right, you’ll need to shoot a bit below the middle one to hit all three at once. Once you’ve done this, a Gegenees will spawn but don't kill it yet.

Step 6: Run to the Intersection of Treasuries. Near the entrance to the bathhouse will be a giant crystal with an Ankh stuck in it. You need to get the Gegenees to shield blast the crystal to break the Ankh out. You can do this by shooting him a bunch until he goes to do a shield blast, then running between it and the crystal. Once the Ankh has broken free, kill the Gegenees. Pick up the Ankh plus the spear that he drops. Interact with the Ra Perk's free hand to give him the Ankh. Grab the Hemera Hand and give that to the Ra Perk too, and a beam will appear. You will need to hang around the Bathhouse until the beam breaks the wall. Skeletons will keep spawning and will attempt to block the beam with their shields, kill them as quickly as you can. A Blightfather will also spawn. Once the beam stops, grab the Sceptre from the hole in the wall and give it to Ra.

Step 7: Head back to the Danu perk area. You'll see a gold circle on the ground, interact with it to place the spear. You’ll have to kill an electric zombie on the circle to activate it, you’ll notice there will be an electric line and a gap will have appeared with symbols rotating round it. One of the symbols will be blue, you need to figure out when the blue symbol will hit the electric line and interact with the circle at that point. For example, if the gap is 3 segments away from the electric line, wait until the symbol changes 3 times then interact. You must repeat this two more times, you will have to kill another electric zombie each time.

Step 8: Have everyone grab a gauntlet if they don't have one already, if you're solo pick whatever you want, though they must be Redeemed. Head to the Amphitheater and you'll see circles relating to the Hands your party has equipped, each player must step in the correct one. Circles will then appear in the Theater proper, again the correct player must head to them. This will cause zombies to spawn. If they spawn on the floor, use the charged attack to kill them. If they're in the crowd area, use a regular attack. There are three rounds of this, with 5 sets of circles in each one. Once you’re done, you’ll get a max ammo. If you fail too much, you must go to the next round and try again.

Step 9: Head back to Dark Delphi. To the right of the Spitfire wallbuy is a door with a bunch of symbols. You must shoot them in the following order: 3rd row 2, 1st row 2, 3rd row 5, 4th row 4, 2nd row 1, 2nd row 4. If there is a Shaw or Bruno in the game, they must interact with the door, they’ll get a cutscene. When this is over or if you don’t have either of those characters in your game, move to the next step.

Step 10: To the right of the door will be a Pegasus symbol, place the Pegasus Strike down and he will retrieve a Ballista. Grab the Ouranos Hand and shoot the Ballista with a charged attack until it readies to fire. Head back to regular Delphi and melee the Eternal Flame with the shield spear again. Still with the shield out, head back to Dark Delphi, and activate the Acid trap between Pack-a-Punch and Snake Pass. Run through it to turn the shield flame green. Melee the Ballista with this and it should fire. This should open the boss portal where the shot ends up hitting (above the Pack-a-Punch)

Boss Fight:
  1. Perseus will corrupt Pegasus and force it to fight you. The boss arena consists of three platforms that you can fling between. Shoot Pegasus whenever you can and it will eventually fall to the ground. To damage it you must use your Specialist Weapon. If you followed my advice, you should have the Sceptre of Ra and not levelled it to 3. If you spam lt.png and rt.png while using the Sceptre you'll melee with it extremely rapidly. If you don’t have the Sceptre or the Sceptre hits level 3, just use the Specialist as normal, though it will take a little longer. It should be noted that if you run through the fires, your Specialist Weapon will recharge quickly, though you'll take damage for it. Also, at certain points the islands other than Columns will be destroyed so make sure to escape quickly if you find yourself on one. Repeat this until Perseus kills Pegasus himself.
  2. Every so often Perseus will teleport to your island and prime an attack. You must shoot the glowing part on his shoulder. If you don't damage him enough, he'll insta-down you! If you do damage him enough however, he will drop to one knee and you can damage him with your Specialist Weapon like you did with Pegasus. Repeat this until he dies, then pick up the key he drops.

The easter egg is quite difficult due to the boss fight. But there are a couple of tips to make it easier:
1. It’s better to pass at 2
2. Ultimate hammer, preferably level up to level 2-3 before the boss fight.
3. The main weapon is better to take a trebuchet, a red and blue glove
4. Wave gloves up to 16-17 shoot from a mile, take advantage of this
5. I highly recommend getting at least 1 homunculus for the boss fight.
6. I highly recommend taking elixers for replenishing ammunition and gold ones for restoring perks and all equipment in a boss fight.
7. At the stage with the game of colors, you need to look at the color of the player’s points and take the appropriate glove (blue - blue, green - green, white - red.

I'll add a couple of tips:
1. Take the widow's tears perk - it will greatly simplify the steps of throwing a spear at the gears, freeze the zombies and throw them until it works, also with the step where you need to kill electric zombies in a circle. And in any other situation, especially if the perk is the last one as a modifier
2. On the step with the statue of Ra, when he must pierce the masonry with a beam. The elixir slots should have “instant death” and “nuclear bomb”. First we set up a Pegasus strike, we run and shoot the skeletons that I close the beam. As soon as the effect of Pegasus has ended and the zombies are running towards you, use the “instant death” elixir and run from one point to another, killing skeletons and zombies. As soon as the “Father of Corruption” appears, we turn on the special weapon and kill him. If the zombies still use the “nuclear bomb” a lot, after this the test should end.
3. Before going to the battle with the boss, it is advisable to pull out the homunculus and bazooka from the box. The homunculus is very helpful in solo playthroughs. Well, an improved bazooka takes out both Pegasus and Perseus better than gloves; after a couple of hits, they add up and you can deal damage with special weapons. I would also advise you to put something in the elixirs to replenish ammunition and grenades, it can be useful in the battle with the boss.

And here is the link explaining what to do in what order, for my passage I learned from both videos
