How to unlock the Straw Purchase achievement in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 - Definitive Guide

This is a pretty simple one and can be done on Blood of The Dead.

Have a buddy near by and keep hitting the box until you get the Blundergat, once it appears press the right analogue stick which allows your friend to pick it up. Once they have picked it up your achievement will pop.

** EDIT **

This can be done with any of the main wonder weapons from the box.
Blood of the Dead: Blundergat
IX: Death of Orion (Has to be built first)
Voyage of Despair: Kraken
Classified: Winters Howl

I was wondering whether this would work when building the Nine Wonder Weapon as you collect it from the box. I was unable to try because I already have the achievement

This achievement requires two players. Each map has its own unique Wonder Weapon. Voyage of Despair has the Kraken, IX has the Death of Orion and Blood of the Dead has the Blundergat. A new feature is the ability to melee a box weapon to make it available for other people to pick up. You must get one of these weapons from a box spin and give it to someone else for this achievement. This can be done by spamming the box until you get lucky. Alternatively, you can do the Death of Orion quest in IX (see Gift of Serket (15G)) , as you obtain the weapon from a guaranteed box spin and this can be given to someone else. This should unlock with DLC Wonder Weapons, thanks to Rowdi for the information.

You need to buy a weapon from the box, but do not take the weapon itself. You need to press the button that will be shown on the screen to give a weapon to a friend. A friend must go to the box and accept the weapon. If your friend does not accept the weapon, you will not receive the prize.

There should be not ordinary weapons, but legendary ones. On each map it is different. On the blood of the dead it is a blunderbuss.
