How to unlock the Firing Range achievement in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Definitive Guide

Available during the Redlight, Greenlight mission, after reaching the training facility designed like a US town.

In this entire area, there will be 20+ targets that you can shoot, just make sure you don't take them all down with grenades or enemy fire by accident.

After all the enemies are dead, but before jumping over the fence, shoot as many targets as you can find.

You get this achievement on "redlight, greenlight"

Around 4 minutes and 20 seconds into the mission, you'll arrive at a very colourful looking place called main street.

once you're there you'll see some shooting targets

They're all around the place just go looking for them and make sure you shoot 15 of them

Eventually during the mission Redlight, Greenlight, you will make your way through an arcade and will go into a shop called “Video”. Once here there will be loads of enemies in the area so take them all out to avoid distractions. Now you can start shooting the targets that are all over the place. I’ll go over the targets that I shot.

First target is in the window sile of the Sports Emporium shop, targets 2-5 are by the arcade sign around the cars and on the building, that’s left of where you’re standing. Target 6 is above the “The Red Army Coming Soon” sign. Targets 7-9 are inside the cinema. Target 10 is on the window sile just outside the cinema. Target 11 is in burger town behind the counter. Target 12 is behind the railings next to the stairs. Targets 13 – 14 are in the drinks bar. Target 15 is in the television shop.

On the mission Redlight, Green light you will come to "any town USA" a training facility. you must shoot 15 targets to unlock this. There is more than 15 within this section so it's easy to do.

Do you know if it counts towards the total if any of the targets get hit by NPC’s?

There are many more targets in the "city" than the mission requires. So there shouldn't be any problems. The main thing is to know that in the mission from pseudo-cities you have to shoot them.
