In order to upgrade skills (or anything in your load out, for that matter) you need “raw Aetherium crystals”. In order to get these, you need to reach round milestones (survive to 10/15/etc...). I’m sure there’s other ways, like the trial rewards and such, but this is the most consistent way to get them. You get one for each milestone per game.
The first upgrade is 1 Crystal, with the second being 2 and the 3rd being 3, respectively. Achievement should pop after upgrading a skill (in my case I upgraded my Juggernog perk) to level 3.

Hi
To get the raw Aetherium crystals do you have to exit with the helicopter or can you just die after round 11 , cause I don’t get anything , i also don’t see the skill option i only see ( create a class and gesture) . Anyone know something about this ?

@robscout, you can just die and you should get them. You should get one for reaching round 10, so I’m not sure why you didn’t. The skill option is your equivalent of the field upgrade (LB+RB). It’s called the “W.A.N.D.” when you’re looking at your gun on the rack. It’s inside your load out so you have to open the create a class screen.

heya guys
i made a video on how to get socket to me & six pack at the same time :)
to start with you must get to level 51 so just play some zombies or multiplayer and come back to this achievement when your level 51
now what you need to do is grind for crystals
the crystals are the purple crystals awarded at the end of a game
to get the crystals i used 3 methods
method 1
get to round 11 , call an extraction then just fail the extraction ... this usually gives you just the 1 crystal but sometimes thats all you need
method 2
get to round 11, call the extraction and make sure you complete the extraction (completing the extraction gives you more crystals but you do need to turn the power on first)
method 3
same as method 2 but get to round 16 instead
you can extract every 5 rounds but obviously it takes longer and just gets harder
the weapons i use are the knife and the shotgun that is near the downed plane
once you have enough crystals you can upgrade your perk skills in the loadout section under the skills menu (each perk has 3 upgrades)
