How to unlock the High Maintenance achievement in Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Definitive Guide

UPDATE: iVilux has reported to me the following information for all your benefit :)

IF DOING THE MAXIS SIDE, DO NOT BUY THE GALVAKNUCKLES UNTIL YOU NEED THEM!!!

I am now 99% sure that having galvaknuckles along with the ballistic knives makes it glitch (you won't get a quote after shooting the knives in the buddha room). Apparently if you have galvaknuckles, the knives in the code have a different name and the knives become a different weapon. I tried this myself, I got the quote after pack-a-punching the knives without the galvaknuckles and didn't get the quote after pack-a-punching them with galvaknuckles.
This achievement may take upwards of an hour and a half with 4 players (can't be done with less).

NOTE: I've added a couple videos from NGTzombies (Maxis's Path and Richtofen's) for those that would rather a visual instead. I take ZERO credit for the videos.

Step 0, PERSISTENT UPGRADES (OPTIONAL):
Before you begin it might prove useful to have persistent super revive and 200% health. These upgrades can be earned whilst playing on tranzit, die rise and buried (NOT grief, survival and turned modes). They are not displayed like normal perks but somewhat do the same job and can also be combined with the normal perk for a substantially better effect for specific perks (quick revive and juggernog).

PERSISTENT UPGRADE NAME (NAME WITH PERK PURCHASED AS WELL)
WHAT IT DOES
HOW TO EARN AND LOSE IT

>QUICKER REVIVE (INSTANT REVIVE)
The player can earn faster revives (revives are twice as fast). The effect can be stacked with Quick Revive for an almost instant revivification.
The revives are fairly easy to do with a second controller or a friend willing to help. Leave the last two walkers of wave 1, place the second controller (or that eager friend) in the lava and just revive away! You know when you have done enough as you will see a puff of green dust appear (you will see this with every persistent perk/power-up upgrade).
To lose it, a player must try and fail to revive a downed person, even if said person is later revived. Even an accidental fail (such as being knocked out of the way) will cause the upgrade to be lost.

>200% HEALTH (300% HEALTH)
The player can earn more health (4 hits like Juggernog). The effect stacks with Juggernog, allowing the player to have a maximum of 300% health (6 hits).
The exact way to how to obtain this upgrade is still unknown, but the most commonly used way to obtain it is to consistently buy Quick Revive in solo play and letting yourself to be downed both times by the SAME zombie.
This perk is disabled but not lost on round 15. The player will not lose the perk by dying from fall damage/falling off the map, explosive damage, or bleeding out and dying prior to the start of round 15; after round 15 however each of these factors will cause the perk to be lost, unless the player is the last in the party to go down.

If you're wanting to know the less helpful but still somewhat useful persistent upgrades check out the call of duty wiki here:
http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Persistent_Upgrades

Step 1, COMMENCEMENT:
Start a custom die rise game on original difficulty (NOT EASY DIFFICULTY)warning.

Like Tranzit & Buried, if one of you already has the achievement you won't be able to do the first significant step, in this instance standing on all the elevator symbols will not light them up. The workaround for this is to start the game without the player(s) with the achievement and then invite them into round 1. They will then be able to spawn in once the next round begins.

Step 2, GETTING TO BANK AND POWER:
Make sure all four of your team acquire at least 750 points each (four doors) leaving at least one zombie still alive. Buy open the first door then have everyone get into the elevator at spawn. Occasionally the last zombie will die after this step, if so then hold out in the power room together until you have two zombies left.

Once at the bottom of the elevator shaft, have everyone pick up a key each with one person using theirs to call the spawn elevator back up (down the corridor facing the other tower, turn right and you’ll see a panel you can “add” your key to), to then pick up another key (they will get spawned in infinitely).

Step 3, GET MONEY (IF YOU CAN) AND SWITCH ON POWER:
As soon as you get onto this tower you'll notice a fridge in the corner - this is the new weapons locker where you can retrieve your weapon. Once in the next room you'll notice two showers - this is the "bank". The left shower will let you deposit your cash and the right, withdraw. Once you leave through the doorway to the left (when facing the showers) you'll notice some double doors (750 points). Buy them. Across the room you will then see the power switch. Flip it on and then have three of your team get onto the left elevator in the power room and take it to the roof (make sure to get off before the elevator crushes you)facepalm whilst the remainder plays with the zombie in the power room.

Step 4, NAV. CARD TABLE:
Around this rooftop will be four parts (the meteorite, the radio, the nav. card reader and the table) needed to construct the nav. card table, which will be constructed in the corner, under the ramp to the spire. If THE HOST has built it before it will already be built (if any other player has previously built it, the table will still need to be built again for the host regardless). Similar to the obelisk table in the first easter egg, this table will always be built every game after its assembling.

There will be one part that you will have trouble acquiring. To get to it, go up the ramp alongside the dragon (towards the spire) then jump off towards the semtex grenades and again towards the elevator. It will be in the corner by the lion tile. To get back, you will need to fall off the side and then proceed to buy two (750 point) doors. You can then get back to the roof via the elevators. YOU WILL NOT NEED TO PUT A NAV. CARD INTO IT! Just a side note: picking up the pieces will replace your key so once you have added your piece REMEMBER TO GET YOUR KEY BACK!

Step 5, ELEVATOR GOLDEN SYMBOLS:
BEFORE YOU BEGIN THIS STEP DOUBLE CHECK THAT THE TABLE IS BUILT! This step will require your team to stand on all the symbols on top of the elevators simultaneously. There are two in each building so you will need to get your team split into groups of two in the “spawn tower” and “power tower”.

In the "power tower", the symbols are located on the left elevator of the two side-by-side and an elevator reachable on the lowest floor. The player kiting the zombie in the power room will be assigned the left of the two side-by-side while the other player will need to take the elevator back down to power, then down one more. From here you will need to go through the doorway to the left of the bench, then to the left side of this room. Ahead you will see a doorway and a doorway on the left side. Go through the doorway on the left side and the elevator will be straight ahead of you.

The other two players assigned to the “spawn tower” will need to go up the ramp alongside the dragon, then jump across back to the initial tower. Right in front of you will be an elevator which is one of the two for this tower. The last is the one behind the sofa, to the left. You can get to it by buying the sofa or by taking the other elevator up one floor.

An easy way of doing this step is to use the keys you collected earlier on the locks beside the elevators, on the lowest floor it goes to. Then once it goes down you all get on. If you did this step correct the symbol should now be glowing brightly.

Step 6, FLOOR GOLDEN SYMBOLS:
Similar to the symbols from the last step are another four symbols scattered around which have to be activated in a certain order. To work this out you must step on each of the four in turn until you step on one that lights up. This is the first one. Then you must step on another and if it lights up too it is the second, however, if it doesn’t the first will go back off needing to be activated again. You will have to do this until all four are lit.

The locations are as follows; one of the two in the “spawn tower” is in front of an elevator in the room next to spawn and the other is on the floor below the first through a (750 point) door, down the escalator to the right of the SVU-AS sniper rifle and to the first right, around the corner. The first of the two in the “power tower” is next to the semtex once you jump down from the spire, and the last is through a (1000 point) double door that is located to right, as you are leaving the power room’s double doors. YOU MAY HAVE TO DO ANOTHER ROUND TO AFFORD THE DOORS. If you are on round four I recommend getting the PDW-57 (1000 points) to the left of the elevator beside the previous (750 point) door if you're in the "spawn tower" or if you're in the "power tower" buy the (750 point) sofa barricade opposite the spire, on the roof. Around the corner on the (left hand side) wall will be an MP5 (1000 points).

Step 7, SNIPE THE BALLS:
One of the two players in the “spawn tower” should now acquire the SVU-AS sniper rifle (1000 points) and then from the spawn, snipe the small balls out of the dragons' mouths. You should now see the two balls under the lion’s paws at either side of the spawn’s double doors.

This will be where the path splits into two, however, I will be guiding you through Richtofen’s as you will not have to spend tens of thousands of points trying to get the ballistic knife then having to pack-a-punch it. Unless you have a horse shoe, four-leafed clover and a lucky rabbit's foot shoved up your ass in which case you'll get it first try. However, with a new update you can now withdraw from your bank just like tranzit and buried, making this step a lot less problematic.

RICHTOFEN

Step 8, SLIQUIFIER:
DO NOT PICK UP THE BALLS OR YOU'LL HAVE TO DO THE MAXIS SIDE.
For this step you will need to build the sliquifier (with a manikin foot, canister, trigger and a pan) to shoot the balls under lion’s paws until they are spinning (two whole clips per ball). The bench, which you will be building it at, is the one at the bottom of the “power tower” by the elevators side-by-side.

The canister can spawn either right next to the bench on the right or on a table close to the power switch in the power room. The trigger can spawn on the table next to the elevators side-by-side or on the kitchen counter to the left of the bench. The pan can either spawn on the barrel next to the (1000 point) sofa barricade opposite the bench or in the kitchen to the right as you leave the power room. The manikin foot will be up the stairs from that same bench in front of a TV, behind the stairs.

Step 9, ZOMBIE TILES:
First off, you're going to have to build the trample steamer (metal mesh grid, bellows, compressor and the flag pole). To build the trample steam you will need to collect its four parts in the spawn room and lobby next to it, then bring them to the bench (two floors below you).

Once they are built you must collect one each and then place them on top of each of the four golden zombie tiles, FACING DIRECTLY AT THE TOWER/SPIRE. One is near the spawn in the lobby (by the M14), two are near the claymores at the bottom of the ramp, to the spire, and the last is by the semtex grenades down from the spire.

Start the next wave, allowing zombies to be killed by the trample steams, ensuring they don’t attempt to destroy them. It may seem that a lot of the zombies are flung past the tower but as long as a few go into/through/over the tower you'll be fine. You will know when the step is complete by the dragon breathing fire and the blue surge going up the spire.

Step 10, WORKING OUT THE MAHJONG TILES:
There are a total of eight Mahjong tiles littered throughout the map and seven will spawn randomly in either of the eleven locations each game. With the exception of one, the North tile which will spawn on a specific corner of the spire every time. So you will have to find three bamboo tiles and two more wind tiles. Here is an image of the four mahjong tiles:

External image

As far as the bamboo tiles go, you just have to count the pieces of bamboo to calculate the number. However, there may spawn a tile with what looks to be a bird (a sparrow), that is what they use instead of a single piece of bamboo. With a wind direction and a number we can work out the order in which to hit the spire’s corners, with the GalvaKnuckles. For example, the red North wind tile and the red sparrow would correspond to hitting the North post of the spire first.

Locations vary, however I will list the ten known ones; on the desk at the spawn, beside the escalator in the lobby room next to spawn on the floor, as you fall down the elevator shaft you will slide off a near 45° slanted surface and it can spawn on the platform you land on, there will be one on a sofa's cushion not far from the mystery box, one is opposite the wall with the SVU-AS sniper rifle on what's left of a step of the broken stairs, there is one close to the teddy bear in the Buddha room (second floor on the right), one is in the kitchen to the right of the MP5, one is on a shelf in the room next to the sliquifier’s bench, one is in the power room as you enter, to your immediate right on a table next to a sewing machine and another is down from the semtex grenades where you dropped down for the hidden nav. card table part in the room next to it on a lawn chair.

Step 11, GALVAKNUCKLES:
Now that you have worked out the order that you have to hit the, now glowing blue, posts with the GalvaKnuckles (6000 points), go down the elevator shaft until you find them slightly to the side, half way down. Then just hit the posts, the tower will then light up blue and ENJOY! clap*ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED*clap

Whoever managed to survive to see the completion of this easter egg will now be rewarded with all six perks (If you died then you will not be rewarded, trust me ... I know). If you want to help out with someone else's easter egg run, you will need to make sure that they're the host and that anybody with the achievement joins their session in progress (If the host has the easter egg completed, nobody in that game can earn it). However, the game you completed your easter egg in tranzit could give out a free-of-charge acheevo to anyone that joins. You know who you are... So my logic is that the same will happen in Die Rise.

If however you are wanting to complete Maxis' path then here you go;

MAXIS

Step 8, PICK UP THE BALLS:
Instead of sliquifying them like in Richtofen's path, Maxis will ask you to pick up the balls. You can only pick up one ball per player and there will be no indication as to who has one. SO REMEMBER!

Step 9, BUDDHA ROOM KILLS:
Now you must all make your way to the Buddha room which is located at the lowest floor of the "spawn tower". To get to it, go down the elevator shaft then you will be just one (750 point) sofa barricade away. Now you must kill them! KILL THEM ALL! (Love to see if somebody gets that reference in the comments). To achieve this you must gather 20+ zombies at once then let it rip (seems to be for X amount of kills in X amount of time). Once completed Maxis will be sure to let you know with an "Enough, enough!" shortly following.

Step 10, BALLISTIC KNIVES:
DO NOT pack a punch the ballistic knives before this step! If you do you'll have to restart.

For this step, one player is going to have to part with his hard earned stash of points and get lucky with the box. Remember you can withdraw from the bank (the showers) outside the power room. Seriously, GOOD LUCK. Oh, and then they will need to pack-a-punch them as well.

So once the Krauss Refribulator is in a player's possession Maxis will talk to you signifying that you did it right. Then simply head back down to the Buddha room. Once there, the player with the Krauss Refribulator will have to shoot the Refribulator at any wall or floor in the room

Step 11, LION TILES:
First off, you're going to have to build the trample steamer (metal mesh grid, bellows, compressor and the flag pole). To build the trample steam you will need to collect its four parts in the spawn room and lobby next to it, then bring them to the bench (two floors below you).

Once you have collected one each, you will need to place each one onto its own lion tile, making sure they are facing the spire directly and that the two players with the balls PLACE THEIRS LAST. The location of the lion tiles are; one is down the escalator in the lobby beside the spawn, one is inside the spawn room in the north most corner, one is down by the hidden nav. card table part and the last is next to the elevators side-by-side on the roof.

Once the trample steamers are in place, the two players with the balls will get the option to hold "X" to place their ball onto their trample steamer. You will know when the step is complete by the dragon breathing fire and the orange surge going up the spire.

NOTE: If you don't get the option to place a ball, you'll have to get a zombie to destroy the tramplesteam.

The last two steps are exactly the same as Richtofen's but to save you the scrolling I will put them here, for your convenience.

Step 12, WORKING OUT THE MAHJONG TILES:
There are a total of eight Mahjong tiles littered throughout the map and seven will spawn randomly in either of the eleven locations each game. With the exception of one, the North tile which will spawn on a specific corner of the spire every time. So you will have to find three bamboo tiles and two more wind tiles. I know FOR A FACT that you will NOT lose perm. quick revive if you quit a game, same for collateral headshots(deadshot), and steel boards, not sure on jug but I do imagine it would be like all the rest.

By BarbedSkink6 on 04 Feb 2013 17:35
For this easter egg you WILL need 4 players as of now. NGTzombies spent a few hours testing out methods to do it with 2-3 players but couldn't work anything out. I'll link you the video; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8z-uABD-VaI

Just a little note, for those whose elevator symbols aren't lighting up, check you built the navcard table, we didn't because this guide states if someone else on your team has built it before in any other game it will be there, 2 of us had built it before in other games, it wasn't there. So make sure you build the table before you try to light the elevator symbols.

@Iceonfire89 Yeah, I had been meaning to add that... After going after this once more I realised that the host had to have the navcard table built before (the other players don't need it as the hosts will be there). I'll add it in. Thanks.

Before you do the step with the elevator, you have to build the table, cause without the table the symbols won´t glow!!!!

Does anyone know why the balls won't spin on the Richtofen side of the Easter Egg? Ive tried about 4 times now. I know what it looks like when they spin, but I just can't get them to spin from the sliquifier. And if I pack-a-punch the sliquifier, will the balls spin if I shoot them enough?

The balls will spin as long as you're on original difficulty. It takes 30 bullets or so per ball though...

This guide was essential to my group getting this done. I wanted to let you know, that it's a good idea to update your guide with the fact that there's now a weapon locker & bank on the map. The locker is in the area you land on when jumping from the Spawn Tower to the Power Tower. The bank is the shower stalls in the next room of the power area.

On Maxis' part with the killing in the Buddha room, it is not how many zombies you kill. It is killing a lot in a certain time limit. Run a train and collect about 15-20 zombies, then turn around and mow them down. This is all you have to do. I have done the Easter egg by round 4 multiple times doing this. Hope this helps anyone out!!!!

TIME LIMIT shock That's the first time I've heard that clue. We've been running to wave 15+ and not getting Maxis to speak. I hope that's it laugh

I can confirm that you don't have to revive anyone. All you have to do is shoot the middle of the room with the PaP ballistic knife. Also, I am not sure if it is true, but I heard that the 2 people with the balls have to be the ones to do the killing in the Buddha room.

Can someone explain the NAV tables? Do we need to assemble the NAV table in Tranzit too? I have read some info that all 3 NAV tables (Tranzit, Die rise, Buried) all need to be built with the correct NAV cards at some point to advance all 3 easter eggs but is it necessary to have them built as you are going for each egg? For instance, I hosted a group of 4 for Tranzit and followed Dr. Maxis pathway so i did not have to build table but was able to finish easter egg. any help would be nice, great guide tho!

jug seems to go if you get downed without having the perk bought also,
revive will go if you fail a revive attempt (can be re got with a guest on easy)
steal boards go if you go a single round without repairing a board (a single board will suffice to keep it active)
head shot damage increase is still hazy i have unlocked it 5 or 6 times in the same game if i get round 40+

on a side note i have never been able to unlock perma jug without going down :(

Man, I am not updating this guide fast enough... my apologies. You ACTUALLY lose perma jug from getting to round 15 (there is no way round it unfortunately). I guess it would make sense since it is there to help the "n00bs" get to the higher rounds.

Kill them, kill them all... Dr. Maxis talking to Samantha inside the pyramid. This is why the zombies attack the players-by their association to 935. Samantha controls them; at least until Richtofen usurps her role. This gets deep into Easter eggs from several maps going back to WAW and BO1. The Easter eggs also tie in why certain characters are on certain maps. - Slainte

From what I understand the nav. card always has to be built in die rise in order for the symbols to glow (on top of the elevators). For progression in Richtofen's side on Tranzit you'll also have to built it. Hope this helps.

P.S. The ONLY benefit of building the tables is 100% irrelevant from achievement hunting but will give you a special ending. Using the cards of each map on the next map's table (1st map's table for the last map's card) will connect all the easter eggs. All easter eggs however, will need to be complete first and on one side (Richtofen or Maxis) for Tranzit, Die Rise and Buried. Then you will have to assemble 4 players with the same side done on all 3 easter eggs. After that it is as simple as going to the courthouse and holding X on the machine in the back room. The rest I won't spoil....

Maxis method: That WAS it toast The zombies must be masacred en masse and fast. Don't know exactly how many zombies are required, but we parked 3 players up on the balcony and let 1 player build the train. We collected as many as we could (round 5) then 1-2-3 all attacked.

Also:
1. We had built up a large bank $ (using Buried) so we just bought everything we needed.
2. We did purchase and PaP the ballistic knife BEFORE doing the Buddha room.
3. We did bring the statue balls with us into the Buddha room.
3. Character Samuel J. Stuhlinger ran the zombie train and downed himself for reincarnation.
4. Character Marlton Johnson had the PaP knife and revived Stuhlinger.
5. Misty & Russman just stayed out of the way on the balcony.
6. We did NOT knife the walls, floor or golden Buddha. We just revivied Stuhlinger.
7. After that it was the Tramplestiens, balls and tower.

Full video courtesy of NiikThatGamingShow. I take no credit for this video. This video is for the Richtofen side of the easter egg, and to the best of my knowledge the Maxis side has yet to be solved, but this is all you need for the achievement.

I will provide a step by step solution to the quickest and easiest way to get the Richtofen side of the achievement. This achievement takes about an hour and half to get everything done even with the quick way. The key to this is to be quick and efficient. Leave a zombie walker/runner at the end of rounds to get the steps done so you're not running around in the hoards doing complicated tasks.

-Step 0: Build the nav card table.
My group decided to build the table in a separate round and since the table will remain built and show up as long as everyone in your party has built it once before, this saved us time and money in our actual playthrough. The pieces are all located on the roof.

Steps 1-6 can be done by round 4

-Step 1: Get to power and turn it on (1500 points)
It only takes one door to open power but we also opened up the door at the beginning to grab all the trample steam parts, to save time and money later. The 4 parts should be the flag, the motor, the grate and the billows. After grabbing the parts get all players in the elevator at the beginning. The weight will crash it down. Run down the hallway and jump over to the power area. The door to power is right there open it and turn on the juice.

-Step 2: Activate the elevator symbols (750 points)
There should be 4 elevator symbols. 1 on the elevator with the bowie knife, one by the mp5 (this is the couch you will need to buy/move) and 2 in the 1st building where you jump across from the roof. You will notice the door to the left elevator is also blocked but you can ride the quick revive elevator (the one to the right of where you build the trample steam) up and cut over to get to it without opening any doors. All of you will need to stand on the elevator symbols at the same time, which can be tricky since they elevators all move at different times and can crush you when you hear a ringing warning bell. A little patience here and the rest will be pretty smooth sailing. All emblems light up gold and you will hear Maxis speak when this is done correctly.

-Step 3: Activate all gold emblems on the floor. (750 points for the door by the AN-94)
There will be one just to the right outside of the original spawn room, one at the yellow bar to the right before you slide down the ramp to where the Mystery Box spawns, one on the ledge above the AK74u (run and jump at the end of the pillar to get to this then hop down to take the elevator without using more money opening doors), and one on the ledge on the roof where you hop down to the right near the radio tower. The order these need to be stood on is different every game. Have 1 player stand at each emblem and then test which order to step on the emblems. They will light up gold if done in the correct order, they will dim out if you hit them out of order and start the sequence from the beginning.

-Step 4: Shoot the balls out of the dragons' mouth (1000 points)
Buy the SVU-AS for 1k points and take it up to the roof. Shoot the black balls out of the dragon's mouth. You will see fuzzy light around them and hear Maxis speak again saying the balls have moved.

-Step 5: Shoot the balls to get them spinning
The balls will reappear back at the spawn room. You will see 2 Chinese dog statues on either side of the first door you can open. They will have their paws on a stone ball (which was not the case at the beginning of the game. Build the sliquifier for this part of the achievement. The sliquifier parts in and around the power room there are 4 total parts to find. After you build it and get it, head up to the dogs and blast the sliquifier at the balls under the dogs' paws until the spin. It takes 20 shots to each ball to get them to spin. The sliquifier comes with 50 shots so don't plan on using the gun for much else. Once both balls are rotating you can move on.

-Step 6:Place trample-steams on the zombie emblems on the floor.
There are 4 zombie emblems on the floor that you will have to locate and place your trample-steams on. The first is right outside the spawn room to the right by the emblem from before. The other 3 are on the roof. There are 2 on each side of the ramp to go down towards the mp5. The final emblem is again on the walkway to the right of the tower. This final emblem is kind of hard to see and blends in with the debris. Look closely and you will find it. Note: Make sure your trample-steams are facing the radio tower and able to fling zombies at it. You must fling a certain amount of zombies until fireworks go off and spark up the tower, lighting it up as blue.

-Step 7:Locate the mahjong tiles:
I used the video below by NGTZombies to help find the possible locations and understand the tiles better. The only thing that they said that isn't true is that the directions can change on the radio tower. The tile on the corner of the tower is always pointing north, with corresponding directions for the other posts. I suggest keeping a list of where to look and what you have found so far, for easy reference.

-Step 8: Use the galvaknuckles on the radio tower. (6000 points)
The mahjong tiles will tell you what order to punch the corners of the radio tower in. Do this quickly once you punch the first corner (there is a time constraint on this) and after you hit all 4 this will pop the achievement and give you all perks for free. If you accidentally knucklepunched the wrong corners or missed out on the window of time never fear, the power will return to the radio tower after the round ends and you can try again.

This achievement took me several playthroughs, hard work and a good understanding up the map. If you need any help feel free to drop a comment and I'll do my best!

a question: the tiles spawn only after we use the trample steam to launch the zombies to the radio tower or we can find them from the beginning of the first round?

No, the tiles spawn at the beginning of the first round, so you can look for them right from the get-go. You will just need the information you get from them for the final step so that's why they're listed so late.

Straight from NGTZombies! They already found out how to get this achievement, this is a very good guide.

Written guide by BrumtownMangler!

We will be doing the Richtofen Path:

Please understand and familiarize yourself with the above video.
All CREDIT GOES TO "NGT ZOMBIES TEAM".

It is preferable that you know your way around and understand the new zombies map,
and also know how to build Nav-Card Reader, Trample-Steam and Sliquifier.

1) Turn on the power

2) Build Nav-Card Reader

3) Find and Activate the 4 Chinese Symbols On the Elevators
(2 In Spawn Tower, 2 In Power Tower)
THE SYMBOLS MUST BE ACTIVATED AT THE SAME TIME (give or take 1 second)
This step is MUCH easier to co-ordinate if each of the 4 players have an elevator key.
Success at this stage results in a Richtofen Quote: "YES... the energy..."

4) Find and activate *IN ORDER* the other 4 Chinese Symbols
(2 In Spawn Tower, 2 In Power Tower)
The order changes each game. When the sequence is correct the Symbols will stay lit. I would suggest assigning each symbol a number (1-4) and through trial and error work out what order they must be lit in.
Example - if they light in the order 1, 2, 4, 3 then standing on them in the order of 1, 2, 3, 4 will make 1 and 2 light up in order only to have ALL SYMBOLS extinguish at the 3rd symbol.
^ As well as showing the Symbol locations, watching and understanding the walkthrough video makes this step MUCH easier to understand.
At this stage you will get another quote, from BOTH Maxxis and Richtofen

5) Snipe Black Orbs from Dragons Mouths.
If somebody has not already, get yourself a "SVU Sniper Rifle" from the middle floor of the Spawn Tower. IT IS NEXT TO A MALL STYLE ESCALATOR. You will be met with a quote telling you to guard the weapon with your life. Use this weapon to Snipes the Black Orbs.
Another quote from Maxxis/Richtofen:
this is the stage at which the Easter Egg splits paths and as such they are arguing for your attention.

6) Use the Sliquifier to "Lubricate the Balls" (ahem)
The Black Orbs re-appear under the feet of the Chinese Lions either side of the door in the Spawn Room. You must fire directly at the orbs until they are both spinning - this may take a while and more than a full ammo counter on each. This is where you get another quote, this time Richthofen only: "Maxxis will no longer be able to get his filthy hands..."

7) Trample Steam Zombies into the Radio Tower.
All 4 players must have a Trample Steam and set them dow in locations where by the zombies are luanched into the Radio Tower - this is what Richtofen meant by blood sacrifice. Again Watching and Understanding the Video Walkthrough with regards to where to place them is essential. Apparently there are symbols on the floor indicating where to place them - the video does now show them in detail. However the locations ARE shown.
This steps ends with yet another Richtofen Quote:
Could not determine if he was saying "Hold it back" OR "Holy Crap"
not that it matters as long as he gives the indication that the step is done.

8) Find and acquire the "Electric Punchy Knuckle Things"
They are in the broken elevator shaft section of the map that leads you towards the Buddha/ M C Escher (Inverted) Room.
Video Guide:

CREDIT TO (A RANDOM) YOUTUBE USER "kwebbelkop"

Once you have them the FINAL STEP BEGINS!

9) Charge the Radio Tower.
The 4 posts on the Radio Tower correspond to North/South/East/West and must be melee attacked with the Galva-Knuckles IN ORDER. The posts correspond to the Mah-Jong tiles hidden around the level. There will be 4 Colored Number tiles and 4 Colored Direction Tiles.
It is also useful to understand the Mah-Jong tiles hidden around the level for the final step:
For example RED TILE SHOWING NORTH WIND corresponds to RED TILE NUMBER 1 - this indicates that you must attack the North Radio Post First. Apparently this can also be done through Trial and Error.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahjong_tiles - use this to identify the Mah-Jong Tiles.

Doing the final step correctly will finish the Easter Egg and unlock the Achievement.

A little reminder for the players who have completed the easter egg: such as in tranzit, after finished the babbel tower, you can't start a new game to help other players to unlock the achievement, you need to join in a started match: today i have completed high maintenance, i started a new game with other friends but the towes was already powered.

just want to add something that isnt described above, you CANT do it on easy difficulty, there will just be no symbols in the elevators.
So you need to play on original difficulty.

This Easter Egg requires four players.

Walkthrough

Part 1 - Build the Nav Card Machine

Grab the four parts around the rooftop of the second building to create the Nav Card Machine. These parts are:

115 Meteorite
Radio
Card Slot
Small Box

Build all these items underneath the bridge that leads to the satellite tower. Next, put the Nav Card from Green Run into this machine.

Part 2 - Step on Gold Emblems (Elevators)

The next step requires four players. All four players must step on four gold emblems on top of four different elevators. Two elevators are located in the first building, and two are located in the second. Do not allow a player to step on the emblem before the others, it's very possible the elevator will rise and crush the player! When all four emblems are stepped on at the same time, they will glow.

Part 3 - Step on Gold Emblems (Floors)

Once again, players must step on four gold emblems. This time, the emblems will be located around the map, and the emblems must be stepped on in a specific order. Stepping on the right emblem will make it glow, but stepping on the wrong emblem will reset the glowing ones. The locations are:

One just outside of spawn room near the elevator
One three floors down from building one. Located in the middle of the room.
One near the Semtex spawn on the rooftop of building two, to the right of the satellite tower.
One on the floor above the AK74u location, out on balcony.

Part 4 - Shoot the Balls

Now for an extremely easy step. All you need to do is shoot two black balls out of the two dragon signs on the rooftop of the second building. Buy the SVU-AS to do this.

Part 5 - Deal With the Balls

The next step is to do something with the balls. That something depends on which path you plan to take. The balls are located under the paws of the two lion statues in the starting room. These statues are on both sides of the first door.

Richtofen's Path

Part 5 - Get The Balls Wet

Richtofen will tell you to get the balls wet. To do this, build the Sliquifier and shoot each one until they start spinning. It may take two magazines each.

Part 6 - Make a Sacrifice

This step requires four Trample Steams. Build one on the table in the first building, and have all four players grab it. All four need to be placed on four more gold symbols around the map. Three symbols are located on the rooftop of the second building, and one is located near the elevator just outside the starting room. Make sure you aim them so they fling zombies at the satellite tower. When enough are killed, the step will be complete.

Part 7 - Power Up the Satellite

This final step requires at least one player to buy the Galvaknuckles. Remember, they're inside the elevator shaft in the upside down building. The player must hit the four corners of the satellite tower on the rooftop of the second building until it glows blue. The order the corners must be hit is randomized. You can figure it out based on seven or eight small white tiles hidden around the map, but it would probably take longer than trial and error. Activating the tower will complete the Easter Egg and unlock the High Maintenance achievement / trophy.

Maxis' Path

Part 5

Kill zombies in the Buddah room until maxis says reincarnation. Can be anywhere from 1-6 rounds, possibly longer.

Part 6

Get the Krauss Defibrillators (upgraded Ballistic Knife) with Samuel and have Rusman down himself in the Buddah room from grenades or a zombie and make sure he has Who's Who. Have Samuel shoot Rusman with the Krauss Defibrillator.

Part 7

Have two players grab the balls from the lions. Have everyone except the two players with balls put Trample steams down on the symbols with lions on them and face them at the tower. There is one in the spawn room, one in the back area where you find the circuit box for the nav card machine, one next to the two elevators near the claymores, and another down one floor from the spawn at the bottom of the stairs. Make sure the two players without balls have the trample steams put down correctly. If they do, they should not be able to pick them up. Now the other two players with the balls should put their trample steams down on the symbols and place the ball on the trample steam before it is ready to use.

Part 8

Use galvaknuckles to hit the beams on the tower. It is down exactly the same way as the Richtofen path, using the mahjong tiles as the key to which beams to hit. Once this step is done, the achievement will be unlocked and you will be granted 6 perks just like the Richtofen path.

This guide is solely based on the way my team and I completed the achievement at the time and the same way I have helped many people since.

Maxis - Step one, you wanna have everyone get a window each(1 per window, 1 per hole in the wall.)You want everyone to get between 750-1000 points each whilst leaving at least 1 zombie alive and completely undamaged so that it will stay alive indefinately. Next, you want to grab what parts of the trample steam are in this room, if not all, have one player open the first door to get the rest. Then have all players get on the freight elevator and ride it to the bottom.(If you want, have one person grab a key and send the elevator back up but remember to grab their part back afterwards.)Now you want to open up the power room, jump on the elevator and take it to the roof. if not already done, build the navcard table. Have all players jump back across to the main building and build the Tramplesteam. With the remaining points, if done correctly, you should be able to afford 2 more doors. The first is the one to the opposide side of the Tramplesteam room. Have 1 player at each of the elevators in here. The other 2 players are going to want to use a Tramplesteam to jump back across to the other building and stand near the other two elevators. You will know you are at the right one if the top of the elevator has a Chinese Symbol on it.(Message me if you need to know specifically which ones.)You are going to want all 4 players standing on their symbol at the same time. This can take a bit of time as you need to keep jumping off the elevators to stop yourself getting squashed. A bit of trial and error and you will get it eventually, it's pretty straight forward.
The next step is to activate the same symbols but this time they are scattered around the map.(Again, message me if you need to know where.)You want all 4 players standing on and off them until you get the right order. You will know when it's done in the correct order because your symbol will stay lit up. If after your symbol is lit and someone steps on their symbol at the wrong time, you must start over. Again, it's just a bit of trial and error.
The next step is to get yourself a sniper from the wall or box and shooting the Black Balls out of the dragons mouths from one of the rooftops. After doing so, they will appear under the Lions paws in the spawn room. You want to have 2 people pick a ball up each and head down to the Buddha Room and kill zombies near the upside down Buddhas until you get a quote saying that you have done enough.
The next step is to get yourself a set of Ballistic Knives and Pack A Punch them. Take them down to the Buddha room and shoot one of the Buddhas a couple of times until you get the next quote.
The next step is to have all 4 players have a Tramplesteam and place them down on each of the Lion symbols around the map, pointing towards the Tower. You want the players with the balls to place the balls onto their tramplesteam. It will then fling the balls around each tramplesteam until it gets to the tower.
The next step is the final step. You must translate the Mahjong tiles and use the Galvaknuckles to punch the 4 corners of the tower in the correct order.
If you need to learn how to translate how to decode the Mahjong Tiles, message me and I'll help you out.
After getting the right order, punch the corners of the tower using said order and the achievement will pop up.

Richtofen - The first couple of steps are the exact same as the Maxis side. The elevator/rooftop Chinese Symbols and shooting the balls from the dragons mouths.
After shooting the balls, this time you want to build and have the Sliquifier. You want to shoot each ball, about 22 times with the Sliquifier until the balls start spinning.
The next step is similar to that of Maxis, you want to have all 4 players have a Tramplesteam. Place them all on the Zombie symbols around the map, again, pointing towards the tower. You want to then start a new round or 2 and have your Tramplesteams fling zombies into the Tower. After you've done enough, the 4 corners of the tower will light up blue.(Orange for Maxis.)
Then again, you have to decode the Mahjong tiles, punch the 4 corners of the tower in the correct order and the achievement will pop up.

There are many ways around this achievement/easter egg, different strategies/theories ect. If you need any help or an extra person as this achievement needs 4 players, message me and I'll do what I can to help.

Again, this guide is probably similar to that of many others but it's just the way my friends and I did it the first time and everytime since.

This is the main easter egg for the DLC map "Die rise" You must follow a number of steps in order to complete it.

There are 2 ways to do this achievement, 1 following maxis and one following richtofen. As was true with tranzit, the richtofen side i find to be much easier.

As well, as was true with tranzit, there are a number of things you can do in a prior match to make this easter egg much easier.

Getting money in the bank

Thnaks to a patch there is now a bank on this map. This bank connects between tranzit, die rise and buried. Thankfully, for this easter egg you wont need anything from the mystery box, so you dont need too many points. The only things you really need to buy are all the doors to the map, galvanuckles (cost 6000) and an Svu sniper. If you have enough points in the bank to buy all these things you can do this easter egg on a quite early round, as very few steps actually require you kill zombies. The bank is located in the room just outside power. You only have to open 3 doors to get to it so you can get there during round 1. I'll explain how to get to the bank later on.

Perma- perks

These are not required to complete the easter egg, but they can be quite helpful. The only one I reccomend is perma- jug. Getting it is really weird and I dont know if its the most efficient way to do so, but it consistently works for me. It transfers between maps, so I reccomedn you do this on tranzit.
Start a solo match on tranzit, let a zombie kill you right away.
Start another match. Grab quick revive for 500, let a zombie down you in qucik revive. Get back up and let a zombie down you again. I know its weird but it works.
Perma- jug allows you to take 4 hits before downing instead of 2, you lose it automatically on round 15, and will have to get it again, though this easter egg shouldn't take that long.

Building the navcard table

This is required for the easter egg, but once being built once, it saves on all subsequent games. Thankfully, this is a much easier task then building it in tranzit as everything is in the same spot.

The table is built on the roof, underneath the walkway leading up to the electrical tower. All the pieces are on the roof as well. The four parts are all located on the roof:

-The radio can be found behind the opening leading downstairs from the base of the dragon.

-The table can be found directly under the tower, right next to where the Nav table is built.

-The meteorite can be found in a corner next to two transformers close to the two elevators that go down into the power room and the claymores upstairs.

-The fusebox can be found by climbing up the scaffolding next to the dragon, jumping down to the platform with the Semtex Grenades, then going to the end of the platform and dropping down in front of a single, separated elevator. It is on the ground leaning on one of the buildings.

After this is built re- start the game, and the easter egg can begin.

4 people are required, no less. Start up a private match on die rise with the difficulty set to normal.

Step 1: turning on powerYou can do a number of steps on round 1. So kill all but one zombie maximizing points by shooting them 6 times in the body and killing them with a knife.

Open the only door in spawn and head right. You will see a couch blocking the stairs down, you can buy this but it is not required, if you do you may need to go another few rounds to open all the doors to the bank. Which is fine. However, to the left of these stairs theres a drop. It is quite diffiuclt but possible to slowly back off the drop landing on the floor below. It is very easy to mess this up and down, so I really reccomend you just open the door. Whether you took the easy or hard way, you'll want to head to the bottom of those stairs. This is another drop but it is much easier to land on the next floor.

You'll land on the floor and you need to look to the right of the elevator for the large opening. You will see a matress a ways down. You want to make a leap for this matress. The area you're in is a bit confusing, but you want to head the only way you're able to the elevator shaft.

Navigating this elevator shaft is a bit difficult at first, as you need to find the safe way down, making a number or precise jumps.

When you finally reach the bottom you will have another door to open leading you to the budha room. If you look left you will see a large piece of concrete sticking out towars the other building. You want to sprint jump off this landing on the other building. Buy the door on the right and you will see two showers immeidately. This is the bank. One shower is for giving money the other for taking. Take a fair amount of money each. The closest door to this is the power room, go in there and turn on the power.

Step 2: elevator symbols

The rest of this guide I'm writing assuming you know the map decently well.

There are 4 golden symbols on 4 different elevators around the map. Two in the spawn building and two in the other building.

The spawn building has symbols on the only two elevators there, both accesible from the area you build the trample steam.

The other building has an elevator right beside the mp5 wall buy after buying the door down to this area.

The second elevator in this building is a bit harder to describe. There is a corner on the roof of this building which has two elevators perpendicular to eachother. The elevator on the left when looking at them from the roof is the one with the symbol.

Your task with this step is to have each player standing on their gold symbol at the same time. Seems easy right? Unfortunately, the elevators pose a threat of crushing you. The really only strategy there is is stnading on your elevator for as long as possible. When it reaches the top floor you will hear a loud bell ringing, this means you have a few seconds to jump off before you are crushed. So just keep jumping on and off your elevators and eventually they are bound to line up. You will know you are sucessful when the symbols light up right gold, and its on to the next step.

Step 3: more symbols!

So this steps a bit different, there are 4 other symbols around the map on the floor. They are located

-In the middle of the top ledge you land on after jumping from budha room.
-Jumping dowen onto the walkway from the electrical tower (this one is obscured by leaves, and is hard to see)
-In the spawn building Right as you exit the spawn door to the right a bit.
-In the cafeteria in the center of the room (room right before the slide)

Your job is to hit these symbols in a specific order. What order? Well its different every game and there's no way to find out beyond trial and error. So assign everyone to a symbol and systematically check every possible combination. One at a time step on your symbol to start, if it lights up that means you have the right first symbol, so you're looking to light them all up. Once they are all lit up, move onto the next step!

Step 4: Shooting the balls

For this step you need a sniper rifle. You can hit the box and get one but its much easier to just buy the SVU off the wall in the spawn building. Whoever has the sniper needs to go floor in the spawn building 1 floor down from where you spawn. Going down the stairs go into the adjacent room and you will be able to get a good view towards the other building. You will notice two large dragon art pieces. One close and one far away. Aim your sniper at their mouths and you will notice a very small ball is held there smply shoot the ball from both dragons mouths and you are done the step. Easy.

Step 5: getting the balls wet wink

This step requires you build the new wonder weapon the sliquifier. This can be quite difficult to build if you are not familiar with the map, because the area you buid it is effectively a maze. and quite hard to figure out. As well, the pieces have multiple spawn points. The easiest way to get to the build spot is by taking one of the two elevators right beside eachother to their very bottom, and you will see it right in front of you. The piece locations are all in the same area and are:

-Mannequin Foot: Near the top of the staircase, next to the television. This part never moves. Used as a stock.

-Gas Canister: It is either next to where the Sliquifier is built in a green cage, or somewhere next to the power switch on a table. Used as a propellent.

-Handbrake: It is either in the power room on the tables by the elevators, or by the fridge near where you build the Sliquifier. Used as the trigger and grip.

-Wires and discs: It is either on the barrel next to where the debris was bought, or it is in the room upstairs with the showers and washing machines on a wooden stand. Used as the main body of the gun.

So assemble the sliquifier and have one player grab it. Make sure this player does not die, as that means you lose the sliquifier and will need to hit the box to get it back.

Head back up to the spawn area. You will notice that the balls you shot are now uner these two lion statue's feet in he spawn room. You need to shoot each of these balls 20 times with sliquifier. You have 50 total shots, so there's a bit of room for error. Please note that you are able to grab the balls, but doing so activates the maxis easter egg and measn you can not finish the richtofen easter egg which is much easier.

So wet those balls, the character playing stulinger will hear some uhh... unusual dialogue from richtofen. Once both start spinning you are on to the next step!

Step 6: flinging zombies

For this next step you need to build the trample steam. All the parts are scattered around the spawn building. The build area is the bottom floor of the spawn building, Right where you jump onto the matress. All the parts are located on the top floor of the spawn building, and in the spawn room. The locations of the parts are:

Chicken wire: found either to the left of the first purchasable door, or through the door against the wall to the left

motor: found either on the lobby desk, or in the corner next to the collapsed stairwell

Bellows: found either halfway up the stair on the left side of the lobby, or straight ahead leaning against the wall to the right

Flag: found either next to a broken chair at the bottom of the right-side stairs in the spawn room or next to the top of the escalator.

So assemble the trample steam and have all four players get one. There are 4 spots around the roof and spawn building that you need to place the trample steams on. They are indicatedby a golden ring with a zombie in it. These trample steams need to be placed and facing the electrical tower. The locations are:

-Spawn building: just outside the spawn room. At the top of the stairs.
-Roof: to the left of the stairs leading down to the MP5
-Roof: to the right of the stairs leading to the mp5
-Roof: jumping down from the towerin the middle of the walkway.

The placement of these is often very touchy, so you need to place them 1 at a time. If you hear richtofen speak, that means the one you just placed is correct.

After placing all 4, you want to start flinging zombies. You only need about 10 zombies flung total, but unless they are all placed it wont count. So make sure you shoot any zombies that are attacking it so it doesn't get destroyed. Have everyone stand by their respective trample steams and lead any zombies towards it. You will know you are done when the tower lights up blue, and you are on the final (and hardest) step clap

Step 7: The infamous majong tiles

For this step 1 person needs to buy the 6000 point galvunuckles, which you can find in the elevator shaft. You will notice that the tower on the roof has its 4 corners lit up blue. All you have to do is melee these 4 corners in a specific order. So trial and error again right? well, yes that would work, but if you do it in the wrong order, the tower will stop lighting up and you will have to start a new rund. This means it could take as many as 24 extra rounds before you get it right, obviously not very preferable.

To find out the order you have to look around the map for these things called mahjong tiles. They are extrmely small little white cubes with symbols on them of different colours. Ther will be a total of 8 on the map every time, and their placement is different, with many spots not even having a tile.

The tiles are 1 of 4 colours: green, black, blue, and red. As well, they are either a direction card or a number card. The number cards range from 1 to 4 and the direction cards are north, east, south, west. What you need to do, is match the number card with the direction card of the same colour. This indicates what direction to hit and in what spot. Say for example you got a red 1 card and a red south card. This means that the first side of the tower you hit is south. If you get a blue 3 card and a blue north card you hit the north part third. When looking at the tower, the north edge points towards the spawn building, and it has a mahjong tile on it. This mahjong tile will always be the north card of any colour.

So to find the cards I recommend one person hold a zombie (make sure he is uninjured) and the other 3 look for the cards. The locations of the cards are (I take no credit for these locations, comes from hubpages.com):

Spawn Room Desk

You can find this first tile when you first spawn into the game. It is on the large desk in the back of the room. If you were sitting at the desk, the tile would be on the far right hand side.

Broken Stairs By SUV

Next we can look on the broken stairs that are in the same area as the SVU. If you were going to drop down into the SVU room you would be dropping onto the broken stairs. The tile can be found on one of the partial steps.

Bottom of the Escalator

The top of the escalator is by the top Quick Revive Elevator and the bottom is on the same floor as the PDW. Look at the Bottom of the escalator close to the wall.

The Couch by The Mystery Box

The next possible location is in the Upside Down Building. It is on a couch cushion in the hallway outside of the room where the Mystery Box appears at the start of the game.

The Elevator Shaft

A Mahjong Tile is in the elevator Shaft that leads to the AN-94. When jumping down it is on the platform below the Galvaknuckles. This area is dark, which can make it hard to tell the difference between blue and black or blue and green.

The Buddha Room

This room is often called the Buddha Room because of the two large Buddha statues. The Tile is on the balcony on the far corner of this room. It is in the same area as the Teddy Bear.

Shelf by the AK-4U

There is a tile on a shelf on the bottom floor of the Power Building. After jumping across from the Buddha room you can drop down to the ledge that holds the AK-4U. Go into the doorway and take the first left. There will be a room that has a shelf on the wall. Check that shelf for a Tile.

Table in the Power Room

There are a lot of sewing machines in the room that has the Power Switch. When entering this room look at the first table on the far right hand side for a Mahjong Tile.

Kitchen Counter

A Tile is on the counter in the Kitchen on the third playable floor of the Power Building. The kitchen is beside the MP5.

Dead Man's Corner

Look in the small room on the roof in dead man's corner. This room is across from an elevator. You can drop into this area by taking the walkway that has the Semtex Grenades on the wall. The tile is on a chair beside the possible Mystery Box Location.

The Tower

The final location for a Mahjong Tile is the Tower. The North Tile is always on the railing marking the north corner of the Tower

Unfortuanely unless you can read chinese the mahjong tiles will seem like gibberish to you, as they are th chinese symbols for the directions. The picture below shows what each symbol means, you may need a sniper to zoom into read some of the symbols. I take no credit for this picture, it is from zixmasteryguide.weebly.com

http://zixmasteryguide.weebly.com/uploads/2/6/0/6/26064596/8...

So find the tiles, melee the tower in the correct order and boom! 75 GS achievement pop! The tower lights up blue which carries into future games.

This can be one of hardest (if not the hardest) easter egg`s to do if you don`t know what you are doing. Step #1: build the nav card table. there are 4 peice`s to find are relativly easy to do so, they`re all on top of the power tower. Step #2: Golden ring`s. They`re 4 golden ring`s that you all have to stand on at the same time, 2 on the spawn tower and 2 on the power tower. Step #3 Golden ring`s again. This time the ring`s are on the floor and they have to be done in a specfic order, prety much trial and error here. Step #4: Snipe the ball`s. Now take any sniper rifle and go back to where you started and snipe the ball`s out of the dragon`s mouthes. Step #5: Sliquify the ball`s. I`m assuming you`re doing richtofen`s path. In this case you have to get the sliquifier and shot each ball 20 time`s. Step #6: Trample steam`s. Now make sure everyone grab`s a trample steam and place it down on some zombie tile`s. What you have to do is fling the zombie`s toward`s the tower. Step #7: Punch the tower. You`re gonna need the galva-knuckles for this, as you need to punch the beam`s of the tower in a specific order. You can either do it through trial and error or you could look for the majhong tile`s, either way once you get this part done you get the achievement. If anyone would like help with this meesage me (silver fire220) and we`ll get it. good luck, and see you there =).

Black ops 2 High Maintenance Achievement Guide (Maxis)
This Short Video is a quick Guide To Completing Black ops 2 High Maintenance Achievement Guide (Maxis's Side) Its Short And Sweet But Will Show You The Basics.

Black ops 2 High Maintenance Achievement Guide (Maxis)
Its Short And Sweet But Will Show You The Basics

Step 1- Turn on Power!
Step 2 - Build the Nav Card Reader! It may have to be built in order for the elevator part to work!
Step 3 - Have all 4 players stand on top of the elevators with the gold seals at the exact same time
Step 4 - Have all 4 players move the the same gold seals that are located through out the map, you must be standing near and you push them in random order, one at a time.
Step 5 - Grab the Sniper off the wall and Shoot the balls out of the mouth of the dragons (you dont need the sniper pack a punched!)
Step 6 - Go to the Buddah Room and train and kill zombies in there! once you kill enuf Maxis will give you a quote.
Step 7 - You need anyone to get a Ballistic knife out of the mystery box, it can be any character! Then you need to Pack A Punch it (PAP), once you do that, head back to the Buddah room
Step 8 - Shoot and revive any other character, this will then enable the next quote.

Step 9 - Go back to spawn room and have 2 pp grab the balls (no homo) and then they will not appear on the HUD, but u have them

Step 10 - all 4 players need a tramplesteamer, place them on the 4 gold seals of the dragons (look like lions) on the ground. place the 2 by the dragons on top building (by the 4 perk elevators) down first. then the other 2 should go down.
Once you place these down, hit X if you have the ball and you will add it to the tramp. then you will here another quote.
Step 11 - use the Majong tiles through out the map to decipher which column to punch with the galvaknuckles.
Final Step - The sun faces East, choose the order to punch the columns with the galvaknuckles. note, if you mess up the order, the tower becomes deactiveated, then you can try again at the beginning of the next rounds. Once you complete this you get all 6 perks at once!

I tried this myself, I got the quote after pack-a-punching the knives without the galvaknuckles and didn't get the quote after pack-a-punching them with galvaknuckles.

knife_ballistic_upgraded_zm - regular pack a punched knives
knife_ballistic_bowie_upgraded_zm - pack a punched while having the bowie knife
knife_ballistic_no_melee_upgraded_zm - pack a punched while having the galvaknuckles

This easter egg will probably take a couple of attempt to achieve so be prepared. Below is Richtofen's Guide. Maxis' path is much harder.

The basic items currently needed:

  • Sliquifier
  • Sniper Rifle (Any)
  • Power (on)
  • 4 Players

Step 1: The Power
Turn on the power. You can not begin until this has been done.

Step 2: Tiles
There are several tiles in elevators all over die rise. locate the 4 (one per elevator) and stand on it at the same time. This should light them up.

Now you must look for 3 other tiles on the floor. There are several locations for these so look around. They must be activated in a specific order.

Step 3: The Sniper and the Balls
-So we have all heard of these magic balls and we are like "How do we shoot em down?" Well, you probably had the wrong step. First, one must get a sniper rifle (the SDV is best but it doesnt matter). Then, since step 2 should be complete, you can now shoot the orbs (best place to shoot from is spawn IMO). This will cause them to disappear and reappear at the starting room under the feet of the Lions. Then audio can be heard.

Step 4: The Sliquifier
-What is an easter egg without some Wonder Weapons to liven things up! You grab the sliquifier and take it back to spawn. Use it on the balls under the lions paw until they spin. Richtofen will then be pleased and will speak.

Step 5: Lion Tiles on the Floor
-There are 4 lion tiles scattered in a few places. Find all of them and have them facing the spire. Launch zombies continually into the tower using the Steam Flingers. After a while, the "Blood sacrifice" will suffice and some more sparks will appear on richtofens dragon.

Step 6 FINALE!: The Galvaknuckles
-So Basically one must buy the galvaknuckles and use them on the tower. There are your blue edges that need to be knifed so as to power the spire. Knife them each a few times and the spire will illuminate power! CONGRATS! Richtofen is pleased! High maintenance is now unlocked ....Except it isnt as easy as randomly hitting it. They must be hit in a certain order. Hidden on the map are several mahjong tiles. Each one represents one pole of the tower.

Hint: The dragons tails will light up signaling the progression of Richtofen or Maxis side of the easter egg; The navcard table can be built but the actual reason for it is still unknown.

Note: You need 4 players to do this and good communication, so use mics to make things easier. This is the Richtofen's way of doing it as it is the easiest one of the two. Also note that only Samuel (the one with glasses and a moustache) can hear Richtofen, so if only one person has a mic, make sure he controls him. Also, this must be done on original difficulty. Some things don't appear on easy difficulty.

Before going through the steps, here are some tips to make it easier for you.

  • Beforehand you should boost Persistent Quick Revive on TranZit by reviving other players a large number of times. The easiest way is to get others to commit suicide in the lava until you get it. This will make you revive faster.
  • Also, try and get persistent Juggernog to get more health. See the video under 'Mad Without Power' for how to get this.
  • Get decent guns/perks before starting the steps. A big mistake is players rushing to finish it as soon as possible without getting loaded out first.
  • Know the map. It'll will be very helpful and maybe the difference between success and failure.
  • Be extremely careful around edges or elevators. They can kill you, and you can not be revived.

Steps

  1. On top of some of the elevators, there are golden Chinese symbols. Each player must find one and step on it to advance. Two are in the starting building, the other two in the power room.
  2. Find the 4 Chinese symbols that aren't in the elevators. There's 2 in the starting building, (1 by the M14 and one in the cafe type room) and 2 in the dragon building (1 above the AK-74 and 1 by the radio tower). You have to step on them in a specific order using trial and error, Richtofen will count in German each time one is stepped on correctly. It will reset if you get it wrong.
  3. Buy the SVU off the wall near the cafeteria area or get a sniper from the mystery box, then snipe the two black orbs in the dragon's mouth. They will fall to the paws of the dragon.
  4. This is where the two methods split. As mentioned earlier, for simplicity we will detail Richtofen's method.
  5. Shoot each of the balls in the dragons paws with the Sliquifier (see 'Slippery When Wet' if you are unsure how to build this) until they start spinning.
  6. Each player must retrieve a Trample Steam (see 'Vertigoner' if you are unsure how to build this) and place it on each of the zombie emblems on the floor and have them facing the radio tower (there is one by the M14, one on the balcony part by the radio tower and two at the bottom of the ramp below the dragon). If you are playing as Samuel you will hear Richtofen speak each time one is placed correctly. Start the round and try and lead zombies into the trample steams so they get flung at the tower (it is ok to shoot the zombies). Once a certain amount have been flung at the tower it will start glowing.
  7. Buy the Galvaknuckles (6000 points) and hit each of the corners on the radio tower in a specific order, the order can be determined by finding the Mahjong Tiles (Alternatively you can just punch random ones until you know the sequence but bear in mind you can only attempt the sequence once per round). If you want the correct order, find the Mahjong Tiles. It is difficult to explain so please refer to the videos below about it by NGTZombies. Once you get the correct order the Easter Egg will be complete and the trophy will unlock.

In this tip we will use 7 videos made by the user SpiderBite, for which many thanks and respect to him, for the fact that he came to everything himself!

Before you start the quest, get the Jagger perk! It is extremely necessary here and it is a shame that it was not there when we received the trophy in Transit... What is the Jagger perk? It is not displayed anywhere, but is only saved in your statistics and transferred from game to game. Judging by the name, you probably already guessed that it affects your health! And indeed, having received this perk, you will no longer fall from two hits from zombies, now your “strength” reserve has been doubled! That is, 4 hits in a row and you fall! If you also buy Jagger Cola, the number of blows you can endure increases to 6! Under some conditions you can lose it, but I don’t know exactly how to do this. They say that it disappears if you are never hit by a zombie throughout the entire round, but this is not a fact. I didn’t lose it myself as soon as I received it. So, what do you need to get it?

Here is a VIDEO from SpiderBite with comments in English - below is a description of how I received it!

We enter Transit in single player mode. We immediately buy Revival for 500 in the first room. Now we leave one zombie, the main thing is not outside the window! Now we approach him and he must strike twice with his hands, i.e. left and right very quickly. If he hits one, then we step back and wait until our health is restored. As soon as you couldn’t step back, the zombie hit you just right, and the perk will revive you. We repeat the process, but without purchasing the perk. And when the zombie makes his signature move, you will fall, and a green glow will appear around you for a short time and the game will end. We go into the game again and check your health on any zombie. If something doesn't work out, watch the video. The main thing is to understand which blow should be a “knockout”!

Now we have the Jagger perk and we can start completing the quest! The quest can only be done by four people and on the Experienced difficulty level, so make sure everyone has the perma perk and everyone can hear the Chief’s commands!

1) It is necessary that everyone has a table for the navigation card (not verified, but most sources write that it is really necessary)

Here is a VIDEO with the location of all the parts for the table, I think you won’t have any problems with this. Four of you need to take this step so that your whole team can keep it in the future! After it is completed, you can restart the game.

2) Let's start getting the trophy! Step two, it would be ideal to have the Main Player play as Samuel Stuhlinger! Because only he hears Richthofen’s voice. Misty is a girl, Rushman is a grandfather in a green caftan, Marlton is a young guy with glasses in a white jacket, Stuhlinger is the one left behind, a little stained with blood and also wearing glasses.

Here is a VIDEO that we will follow at all stages!

3) To start the quest, you need to simultaneously jump onto 4 round emblems with a Chinese symbol, which are located on the roofs of four elevators. To do this, from the start we go down the freight elevator and select 4 small keys in the corridor, one for each - they will be useful to us for this step. We open the doors to electricity for 750 (double doors in the next building) and turn on the power. Now everyone must choose an elevator (it is necessary to open the necessary doors in the shortest and least expensive way and distribute the elevators - one zombie should be driven by someone from the team not far from their elevator. When everyone is in place, we simultaneously insert the keys into the elevators on the top floor so that no one gets pinched while he is jumping on the roof of the elevator. Now all players need to jump on these symbols at the same time - the Main’s task is to coordinate the jumps so that the player with the zombie is not killed. It is advisable to do it in smaller rounds so that the zombies are not very fast. and leave the two slowest zombies, because when only one remains, he becomes very fast. If everything was done correctly, the symbols will light up, and the Main player will hear Richtofen’s voice, that everything has been done correctly. All other players will hear Maxis’ voice, since the first 3. The steps for both parts of the quest are the same.

4) The next step is a little more difficult - you need to activate 4 of the same symbols, but now in a certain order! Check the location of the symbols in the video, and I will describe what needs to be done. First you need to find the symbol that lights up first. Ideally, all players should distribute the symbols among themselves. In order to activate a symbol, you need to step on it; if it lights up, then this is the first symbol. As soon as it catches fire, the player leaves it. Then the next player steps on his symbol (the Chief tells who to step on to avoid confusion). If the first player's symbol goes out, then the second symbol is incorrect. The first player activates his symbol again, but this time the third player steps on a different symbol. If the first symbol goes out again, then this symbol is again incorrect and the required second symbol is on player 4. The first player again steps on his symbol, then player 4 steps on and this time the first player’s symbol does not go out, but the player’s also lights up 4, all that remains now is to find the third symbol. Either player 2 or player 3 has it. If player 2, stepping on his symbol, turns off the symbols of players 1 and 4, then player 3 has the third symbol and the order is 1-4-3-2. Be careful - if you make mistakes too many times, the order of the symbols will be reversed and you will have to start all over again! The game gives you enough tries to figure out the order through trial and error.

5) Using a sniper rifle, which can be bought from the wall one level below the starting room, you need to shoot the balls in the dragon's mouths, the balls will move to the starting room and Richtofen and Maxis will vying with each other to talk about the fact that the step is completed. This is the last common step in Makisis and Richthofen's quests.

In this guide we will stick to Richthofen's quest since it is easier this time. If you want to complete the quest for Maxis, here is a link to a VIDEO with its passage.

6) Now you need to wet the balls; to do this you need to collect the Softener. Here's a VIDEO to help! There are only 4 spare parts, which are located on the level with the assembly table and the level above it. The first spare part is a canister, the second is a manikin leg. These 2 spare parts usually do not change their location. The third spare part is the trigger, it can also be in the kitchen a level lower, not far from the table. The fourth - a burner (a converter or something similar - appears in the center of the cannon) can be found where it was found in the video, or on a barrel opposite the table, next to the stairs. These may not be all the places where parts can be, but they are the majority and they are most likely to appear there. The glitch that SpiderBite and his team use has been fixed and it is no longer possible for all team members to take the Softener. Now we shoot at the balls until they spin - it is advisable that one player watches the ball and when it spins, command the shooter to move to the next one. There may not be enough cartridges - then you will have to wait either for the maximum cartridge bonus, or to pull out another Softener from the box.

7) Now you need to assemble the Springboard. Here's a video . All spare parts are located on the first floor of the starting room and you will see their location in the video. The parts are a panel, a frog pump, a flag on a stick and a compressor. You can collect them in the Springboard two levels below if you go down the central elevator. Be careful, the elevator can smear you across the ceiling, and four of you will be able to assemble the Springboard the first time. Each player takes a springboard.

8) Each player must place their Springboard on the zombie symbol towards the tower. It has not yet been verified whether it is possible to use only the next three or whether all 4 must be used, but in the video one player remained at the first springboard so that zombies would appear at his place as well. Upon completion of this step, several firecrackers will fly out of the dragon and Richtofen will tell Stuhlinger that he needs to curb the energy of human flesh For this we need an electric knuckle. It can be purchased on the lower floors of the inverted building. Don't forget to put away your springboards so you don't start a new round.

9) Now player(s) 1-3 are left with the zombies at the top while the others go in search of Mahjongg dice! One of them is always located on the railing of the tower and indicates the direction to the North. Here is a VIDEO with a description and how to decipher the sequence with which you need to hit the pillars. But this VIDEO shows only the location of all Mahjong bones.

Now I will tell you how to determine the sequence in which you need to hit the pillars. There are only 8 Mahjong dice in the game - 4 numerical (from 1 to 4) and 4 with wind directions (North, South, West and East). You can see how they all look together in the first video - 1.30 for numbers and 2.10 for directions. In fact, it is not necessary to find all 8 bones (at least 6), it is enough to make a simple plate on paper and fill it out as you find the bones. The number on the number dice indicates the score with which one or another post should be hit. Now you need to find dice of the same color (red, green, blue and black). 1 numerical and 1 direction dice will be the same color - for example, you found a red three, and on the railing of the tower you found a red north (north always lies there, but it can change color) - accordingly, the north pillar will need to be hit third. Here is an example of a sign that needs to be made:

Color__________Red__________Green__________Blue__________Black

Number

Direction

Now let’s look at an example: we have already found the red three and the red north, respectively, 2 fields of the plate are already filled in, now, let’s assume you found green 1 and blue East, fill them in the same plate. And two more dice that you found turned out to be 4 and West black. Fill it out and this is what you end up with:

Color__________Red__________Green__________Blue__________Black

Number___________3_________________1______________ _?________________4

Direction____North_______________?____________Drain____________West

From this tablet it follows that we did not find the blue two and the green South, but this does not matter, there are no other options, and now we already have the exact sequence! First we hit the South pillar, the second - the East, the third - the North and the last - the West.

10) Now, knowing the sequence, all that remains is to return to the tower with the electric brass knuckles. Knowing the northern direction, we determine the rest. Once again we determine the order of strikes and begin a new round. You cannot make a mistake, otherwise you will have to try again with the start of each new round (in other words - one attempt per round). That is, if you do not want to search and decipher Mahjong dice, then there are only 24 combinations with hitting the pillars. So 24 rounds from now on and you will easily find the right combination!

11) Upon completion of this step you will receive 6 permanent perks and a trophy! If you fall and another player picks you up, the perks will remain, but if you die completely, they will not appear in the new round.. Go for it!

After you get to the brass knuckles, and the whole mess is in mahjong. I'll try to explain how I figured it out. We run and watch your mahjongs and remember them. Mahjong with an animal figurine means the color whose cardinal direction we hit first, then the number 2 and so on. Let's say mahjong with a blue figure, we are looking for mahjong with the cardinal direction blue, for example, blue mahjong is south, so we hit the southern column first. Not all mahjongs are in place; by thinking it is very easy to determine the missing sides and colors.

This quest is more difficult than the one on the transit map, but I’ll still try to clearly write the execution algorithm.

1. The quest, unlike the quest in transit, can only be completed by four people!

2. We start the game, on the first wave everyone enters the elevator and goes to turn on the power. Afterwards, you need to find elevators with round icons on the map (they appear randomly). All four players must stand on them at the same time.

3. Exactly the same circles need to be found on the floor (two on the roof of the dragon, one next to the AK, one on the balcony after opening the first door, hidden under the rubble). Here you need to click in the correct order).

4. After, we collect the Softener (a snot gun, in the building with power, on the floor below). We buy a Sniper from the wall, go to the spawn and shoot at the balls that are in the mouths of the dragons. (It’s in the mouths, and not at others)) When the balls arrive at the spawn and come under the arms of the lion statues, we shoot two balls from the Sprayer at each one, they should spin up.

5. You need to assemble the Springboard, the table is located directly under the spawn, the parts are on the two nearest floors. Next, you need to find the other four circles and the image of a zombie. the same way (two dragons on the roof, one next to the table, one on the balcony) and place them in the direction of the tower located on the roof. We start a wave (preferably 3-4) and lure the zombies onto the springboards and send them flying. All four pillar supports should light up.

6. The most difficult stage in all quests of the zombie series!!!. This is related to mahjongs, small figures. One is already on the tower, it ALWAYS points north. Next, you need to find the rest of the mahjongs. Here is their location https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXAi...er_detailpage. Four of them indicate cardinal directions (2:25 in the video). Each one has its own color. And the other four are numbers (1:30 in the video) in which order which side of the world needs to be activated. They also have four colors, they need to be matched. Next, when the order is known, the player who plays as Sergei Mikhalkov (Old Man with Glasses) must buy an electric brass knuckles and hit the beams in the desired order. If everything is done correctly, the tower will glow and the achievement will appear. If not, you can try again by starting a new wave.

PS - The order changes all the time, guides other than the location of mahjongs will not help you!!!

You can cheat in the springboard step! To prevent everyone from being separated (when you are together the chances of survival increase), you can place one springboard at any point and stick together to it, luring zombies onto it! After he sends about 50 undead flying (to be sure, in general 40 should be enough), we leave one zombie and the player whose springboard is standing to drive the zombies in a circle. Others, not afraid that someone will eat them, calmly place the springboards at their points. Once all the jumps are correctly installed, the tower supports will light up!

By the way, it is not necessary to buy brass knuckles for Mikhalkov. Any team member can hit the supports!
