How to unlock the Little Lost Girl achievement in Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Definitive Guide

Here is the achievement guide for completing "Little Lost Girl". This has to be done on Original difficulty. This can be completed with 2-4 people. This can also be completed solo. Below is the Easter Egg guide video if that is easier for you then a bit of reading. Credit to that video goes to NoahJ456. If you have any questions or anything you'd like to add, please leave a comment or private message me.

Some useful things along the way! (optional)

Free Pack-A-Punched MG08 LMG:
- To do this you want to use the Maxis Drone you built and fly him over to 4 yellow circles around the map. He will retrieve them and once the last one is retrieved a upgraded MG08 will appear in front of the Pack-A-Punch. The 4 locations are at Generator 5 (Stamin' Up) on top of a strip of wood above where the window is, by spawn where wood and stuff is on fire, at the Church the closest corner outside the first main entrance, and at the Excavation Site at the top on of a wood platform. This video below will also show you.

(credit goes to LaazrGaming for making the video and uploading it to YouTube)

Free Zombie Blood Power-Up:
- To get the free Zombie Blood Power-Up you want to freeze 3 wagons around the map that are on fire. They are all around the vicinity of the Excavation Site and once the third one is "cooled down" a Zombie Blood Power-Up will appear by the Pack-A-Punch. Very helpful for shooting down the plane while under the effects of Zombie Blood or killing the Red Baron. The three locations are looking across to the Juggernog area, the left side of the Excavation Site coming from the Workshop, and towards Generator 5.

Step 1: Build the Phonograph:
- Phonograph is located at the Excavation Site.
- The record is in 3 different areas around the Excavation Site

Step 2: Built the Elemental Staffs
- Credit to this step goes to Paul Zap for creating a perfect guide for this. Check this step out here! Solution for Playing with Power In Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Step 3: Upgrade the Elemental Staffs to their Ultimate Version
- Credit to this step goes to coreymawf for creating a perfect guide for this. Check this step out here! Solution for Master Wizard In Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Step 4: Placing the staffs in the Giant Robots
- You want every person in your group to have one of the Ultimate Staffs. Also make sure that you have all 6 Generator's turned on (credit goes to Suydam1). From that point you want the person with the Ice Staff to head to the Church. They have to put that staff in the Giant Robot Freya. Have your second teamate with the Wind Staff head to the Juggernog area. They have to put the staff in Odin the center Giant Robot. Have your third teamate take the Lightning Staff to the Generator 2/Speed Cola area and put the staff in Thor. After you finish that have your final person take the Fire Staff and place it in the new slot at the bottom of the Excavation Site. If you are playing with less then 4 people, then just do this staff by staff with the number of people you have.

Step 5: Fill up all 4 chests
- If you have completed this step already skip it. There are 4 chests located around the map. One is located by Juggernog where the MP-40 is located. Another location is by the Excavation Site. The third is located by Generator 5. The final location is located by the Church. You have to continue killing zombies by the chests making sure there souls go into the chest. You know you completed it when the chest disappears.

Step 6: Get your upgraded melee attack (Super Punch)
- If you filled up all 4 chests you should all have a medal above your perks. You then can go to the spawn zone chest or Generator 6 chest and open it. You receive your upgraded melee attack which is a very strong melee attack until Round 18 and is needed for future steps of the Easter Egg.

Step 7: Purify the Tablet
- For this step you can actually have one person do it instead of all but the choice is yours. You want to grab a tablet from the Tank Station and take it to the Church. Upstairs you will see a type of fountain. It has holy water in it. To place your tablet in it hold X. After that is done melee zombies around it to "purify it". You will hear music play when you completed it but periodically check it to see if you can remove it.

Step 8: Return the tablet
- This step can be difficult if not timed correctly. You have to take your purified tablet back to the Tank Station where you first picked it up at. There are two ways you can accomplish this. You can either take the tank there and jump off at the back entrance or you can walk back. If you take the tank path, just ride the tank all the way to the back entrance but be ready to jump off the tank right at the entrance. If you touch mud or water at anytime you fail that step and must return to the church and replace it in the holy water again. You don't have to punch zombies again though.

Step 9: Obtain the Airstrike Grenades
- Note that if you die once you obtain the Airstrike Grendaes you can receive them out of the box. From here you want to punch zombies again with your upgraded melee attack at the tablet until a power-up appears. It is the Airstrike Grenades. Save these as you will need them for the next step.

(credit goes to Resortified for making the video and uploading it to YouTube)

Step 10: Build the Maxis Drone
- If you have already completed this step, please skip it. You need to build the Maxis Drone for the next step. It requires 3 parts. (Brain, Frame, and Rotors) For the 2 parts there are multiple locations it can be in.
• Brain:
- On the table on the lower part of the spawn
• Frame:
- In the Ice Tunnel, near Generator 6.
- Near the crossbone sign on the tank pathaway at the Church
- Near the crossbone sign on the opposite tank pathway behind the tank
• Rotors:
- Near the very bottom of the Excavation Site, on top of a box on a scaffolding next to a lever
- On top of the Excavation Site near the Pack a Punch
- In the Excavation Site around the Secret Entrance

Step 11: Destroy the Seal
- For this step you need at least 2 people. Also have the person with the Airstrike Grenades have the Maxis Drone. You want one person to enter a robot and press the red button. As soon as it says "Firing sequence linked/activated" you want to tell your partner to throw the Airstrike Grenade at the Seal at Generator 5. You will see it by a crashed plane. After you do that use the Maxis Drone and he will fly into the hole.

External image

(credit goes to Yehovah for providing the image at se7ensins)

Step 12: Destroy the Panzer Soldat's
- Once Maxis Done has flown into the hole some Panzer Soldat's will spawn. They spawn 2 per person in your game. You must kill all of them to be able to move on to the next step.

Step 13: Spirit in the Sky
- For this step you need to get a Zombie Blood power-up. Once you picked one up look in the sky for a plane with a faint glow to it. You want to shoot it down. After you do that you want to find the zombie moving clockwise around the Excavation Site. You can only see him while under the Zombie Blood power-up. If yours ends after you shoot the plane down but you don't kill the zombie, don't worry, you just have to get another Zombie Blood power-up and then find the zombie and kill him. He is known as the Red Baron as well. He will then drop Maxis Done. Hold X to pick it up. There is also a possibility of it glitching if you use the Zombie Blood you get from spawn after powering the 1st Generator. (credit goes to Tgamesmaster).

Step 14: Elemental Melee Upgrade
- You are almost at the end! Only a couple more steps. Make sure everyone has their upgrade! For this step you want to upgrade your Super Fist melee attack to the Super Elemental Melee attack. I would suggest doing this in groups of 2 as it only counts the ones you melee and incase you go down, it wouldn't hurt to have someone near you. You want to head down to the bottom of the Excavation Site. Where the 4 staffs are located. From there you will have zombies attacking you with white smoke on their arms. You want to melee them and continue to melee them until they drop a power-up. Once you pick it up you will do an animation and you have finished this step. You need all the people in your game to obtain this. Something I'd like to add about this that has nothing to do with the Easter Egg is that whichever staff you have equipped will be what Element your new fist attack does. Such as if you had the Ice Staff equipped then when you punch someone you will freeze them.

Step 15: Crazy Place
- You are at the end! For this step everyone in your game should have their upgraded melee attack. You now want to head to the Crazy World and place each staff into their slots. From there you want to continue punching zombies to power the staffs. You know you completed the step when your achievement appears and a vortex appears in the middle.

How to activate the final cutscene:
- Triggering this will end the game and trigger a cutscene. I will not spoil this for anyone so I'll leave it at that.
• Take the Maxis Drone to the Crazy Place (Argatha) after releasing Samantha. He will then fly into the vortex.
• You can also press X on the teleporter in the Crazy Place to also trigger the ending cutscene. To do this method you must have all 6 Generator's on. (credit for this goes to NJDuke007 & BrEn v Noble Q)

As far as I know no easter egg can be done on easy but I could be wrong.

This one looks so hard! Youll need to get to round 20 or so before getting the achievement.

Another way to see the cutscene is to hit x on the teleporter in the center of the crazy place. The game ends and you see the cut scene with Sam and her brother Eddie playing with their zombie action figures. This one was a lot of fun and easier if you are patient and set it up as early as possible.

@Spydare: Someone completed this with only 2 people.
@NJDuke007: I will add that into the guide.
@Sighris: Thanks!
@TheNutman69321: I did at the beginning. "This has to be done on Original difficulty". As for the not being able to be done solo, yes that is the step I was speaking about. I am actually going to do it solo today and see if its possible to complete that step solo, but until its tested, I will keep it like that.

@Raezie: I do not believe that is true because for my game I was Takeo and another person in my game was the one that killed the invisible zombie.
@Raiderhorn: Thanks! Yeah, I was typing out everything while we've been doing it for the last 2 days. This was a tough Easter Egg man haha.

Just an update on what I said earlier about it might be possible on solo. I watched a live stream of a solo attempt today and when you get to placing the staffs in the giants they never reset, you never get the message from Samantha, and you can't press the button. So it looks like it's not possible.

@TheNutman69321: Alright thanks for the heads up. I'll make sure to add that it can't be done on solo.
@Sera Di Siah: It can be difficult at times but as you said, once you get a solid group it is much easier then it seems :)

On a solution note, it seems the Ultimate Staff guide I had linked to has been deleted. With that note, I am currently typing out a guide for all 4 staffs. 2 have been currently added as I wanted to make sure it was coming out right and I am now typing up the last 2.

I just completed with only 2 people. Actually easier than with 4 for some reason. Also, we did not have to put the elemental staffs into the robots for some reason, took us forever to figure out why not. We also did not punch at the end, guns still release souls into the vortex.

We just had a go at it, the Red Baron zombie glitched on us, we followed every step perfectly, shot down the plane, got another zombie blood but the Red Baron zombie didn't appear. We just quit after multiple attempts with zombie blood, we believe it may have fell under the map. I have heard from a few more people saying that the exact same thing happened to them.

^ Same thing just happened to me and my friends NetroDude. We could/should have had it done by Round 15 but the Red Baron just wouldn't show up. The worst part is, we could hear him when we weren't in zombie blood and could even shoot him and blood would spray off him. We put claymores down and they were going off every so often so he was definitely in that part of the map. We ended up going to about Round 25+ and got the zombie blood 5-6 more times and he never showed up once. We also noticed that after so many rounds we couldn't hear him anymore and there were never anymore dig spots around the map. Oh well, we'll try again tomorrow now :(

@Netro and n4k3d: same thing happened to our group, but we all shot where we heard him until he dropped the Maxis drone. It took a few clips because we didn't know where to shoot, but it worked.

Do you really have to upgrade your punch after putting the staffs in the robots? We failed trying to do that tonight, would have been easier with staffs to fall back on. Surely you don't need to put the staffs in the robots until you need them to fire at the seal?

Another tip: when you have to collect the parts of the lighting staff, I stayed at excavation site with a couple of zombies and my friends have taken the tank and grabbed the 3 purple parts, by this way you can do it without problems.

@XxRANCIDKEITHxX Thanks for letting me know man but just saying, you're only making it look bad for yourself for not bothering to let them know until after I did.

@Samphaa Just noticed you said you're having problems finding the red disc. That can spawn next to gen. 6 on a couple crates, in the church on a bench or (this is probably the one you missed) on top of a couple crates sitting between the original tank location and the stairs to the church.

Beware of the glitch were someone can't obtain their punch from the reward box and therefore can't upgrade it. Meaning you can't complete the EE.

By LAFTA on 05 Sep 2013 19:29
@LAFTA have them look at their fill 4 chests to capacity tile on the board above a reward box and hold x. This will allow you to retrieve your punch even if you die or have other rewards you don't want to collect yet! :)

That is so wrong. Whoever dies out and loses their Airstrike grenades can get them back by pulling it from the mystery box. They only show up in the box if you fulfilled the requirements in the first place though, per person.

Hey everyone. I see some of the additions and changes people want me to make. Currently out of town for the week helping a friend who just had surgery. Also my phone sucks. I'll be back around Friday so those changes will be made then.

@The Best Bull: I'll add that when I get home. Currently out of town. Thanks for the addition.
@Sera Di Siah: Only the person that unlocked them before hand can get it from the box again. Thanks for the addition though and I will make that change when I'm back in town.

You may want to change the wording in step 14 as its a tad confusing. Yes, you can complete the Easter egg with 2 people but if you are playing with a group of 3 or 4 EVERYONE needs to have the elemental bro fists as we were in a group of 4 last night and then started killing in the crazy place but it would not allow us to progress or complete the EE until all 4 had the elemental punch

So for the final step where you place all 4 ultimate staffs in the crazy place, do you have to leave them placed? One person above mentions someone picking one up and being able to continue, and it would make the final part a lot easier if you can use the ultimate staffs to fight off the zombies.

Just something to add. My group and I had finished step 14 and had all gotten the elemental melee upgrade. Then I time out and lose my gloves. I join back, and the rest of my group has all 4 staffs placed in the Crazy Place. I am still without gloves, but the rest of my team was able to punch the zombies and get the staffs charged to get the vortex to appear. The vortex appears, and all 4 of us get the achievement. If it'll mean anything, none of the staffs were placed when I timed out, and when I joined back into the game, all of the staffs were placed.

Not sure if somebody has already mentioned this but whilst doing the EE someone joined our game, didn't spawn, and then left. When we went to do the last step we couldn't get any souls into the staffs, so we had to get the player to join again, protect him till he got his melee upgrade, then go back to the crazy place, all on rounds 25+, wasn't fun.

One correction: step ten should list the maxis frame location as tunnel by generator 6 not tunnel 5. Otherwise great guide.

Great guide! quick question ( may have already been answered) but can all 4 people in the group get a free P'A'Punched LMG following the video? if not, do you start new round to get the disks to re-appear or something?

Not sure if mentioned already, but there is a trick for Step 4: Placing the staffs in the Giant Robots. On my first and successful attempt with 3 others, once we get to that point, everyone had their staffs in their hands and whoever had the Fire Staff placed it on the stand down in Excavation. Then pressed X on the Original Fire Stand where crafted, the staff reappears in your hands. Place it on the New Stand 4 times, after that, press X on the Original Stand and Step 4 has been completed, Without placing the staffs in the Giant Robots.

Ok so here's my story.... Me and another 2 friends were trying this and when we get to the part when u put the staffs into the robots I got disconnected! We already have been done the melee upgrade, and then I join back! So when we were trying to get the upgrade for thd elemental melee I realized I did NOT have the melee! So we went back to generator 6 and I could NOT take the melee attack because it said that I needed to full all the chests (again) with souls and obviously we have been done that already! So we have not idea what to do and after 5 mins, we all die! My question is were we able to STILL do the EE without me having that fucking elemental melee upgrade??

Just to note, since none of the guides do. The staves are broken in the game now. Never try to swap a staff when you already have one, or that staff will disappear from the game forever. You need to place a staff on its pedestal in the Crazy place, before attempting to pick up another.

They can also be lost if you are carrying one and bleed out. These glitches will prevent you from finishing the EE.

You should add in that it can't be done on easy. When you get to putting the staffs in the giants there will be no where to put them.

According to this guide it can't be done solo because of one of the steps, which step do you believe this to be? Destroy the seal I assume? That can be done solo if you get into the giant at the closest spot to the place you throw the airstrike and get out quickly from what I've heard. The theory so far according to most guides is it may be able to be done solo because every step should be able to be done solo although I know of no one actually completing it solo to confirm.

@Paul Zap: Thanks and no problem!
@xlll Alex lllx: I will add that into the solution.

On a solution note, it has been brought to my attention that the Ultimate Elemental Staff guide I linked to does not have the Lightning Staff in the guide. I have messaged the person about it to see if its going to be added. If not, I will be personally adding each Ultimate Staff to my guide.

@Vein 666: I've been told it was easier with less then 4 my multiple people. As for not having to put the Elemental Staffs in the robots, weird, thats the first I've heard of it. Also as for not having to punch at the end, I'll have to test that. I remember us shooting at one point and the vortex not getting bigger. Definitely something I want to test.

On a solution note, I have now added all 4 Ultimate Staff guides to the guide. As for the Lightning Staff, I wanted to provide 3 images for the 3 chords used for it but the first image would not appear for whatever reason. I am still going to mess around with it and see what I can get it to do but until then I listed the 3 keys you want to shoot.

random nitpick: for Step 3, the Ultimate Staffs, you c/p credited Paul Zap for corey's guide.

Also just as a suggestion, if you wanted to, you can include the optional part with maxis drone grabbing the 4 yellow circles to get a free PaP MGO8 LMG. Comes in handy early when filling the boxes.

Another one to mention is the free zombie blood per round from shooting the 3 wagons that are on fire with the ice staff incase they need it for the current Step 13

I can give a little tip: when you have to complete the callenges for obtain the supreme staffs, you can do all challenges in a row, so when you have to return to agharta for the fourth challenge of every staff, do it at the same time, when you have to complete the challenge no.4 for each staff.
Also the challenge 3 is completable at same time (simply you will find all the 4 elemental orbs in the excavation site, use the switches to rotate the discs to have each disc with the same colour and shoot to the related orb, rinse and repeat.) Very important: if you fill the 4 zombie chests as soon as possible, you have the powered melee attack that kills zombie with 1 shot until round 17 and you are able to destroy zombies without problems.
As i wrote above, only 2 hours and 10 minutes, without efforts, not so difficult.

You can change the description to 1-4 players. It has been confirmed by ngtzombies you can get up in the left robot foot by stamina, and time it around when maxis counts down to 1, then you push the button and rush over to the seal and throw the bomb, and if you time it correctly, you will hear Sam speak again.

So I think I need to throw this out there to see if I can get any feedback. I have made 10 legitimate attempts at this egg and have put forward 20+ hours with many different groups. We have only been able to get the ultimate staffs built 4 times, and every single time we put them in the robots, they reappear in the Excavation sight like normal.

HOWEVER, nobody in our group can pick ANY of them up. This happened twice with one group and we gave up. The second group, I had ONE player that was able to pick up the specific ultimate staff he stuck in Argatha. On both of our attempts, he had different staffs and was able to pick up that specific staff only on each attempt.

My question is, WTF gives? Can anyone tell me why we keep hitting this roadblock? I can probably list 25 things we did to try and eliminate this glitch, but absolutely none of them worked.

I just finished this achievement today. If someone is still trying to do this and is having trouble with the glitches, you might want to read this, though I do not know if it has been said before. After more than six tries, and more than 10 hours wasted, we were having trouble because one of the Staff glitched and we could not pick it up. It didn't even have the option to pick it up. This happen after the Step 4 of putting the staffs in the head. Above is mentioned of some glitch that helps but I think it works with 4 players, because my group was of 3 players and it did not work. Point is, if you do not want the staff to glitch, do the following: Do NOT let other players take your staff. If you build a staff, keep it to the end. My group worked like this:
Player 1: Wind Staff
Player 2: Fire Staff
Player 3: Ice Staff and Lighting Staff
Doing this method, the game did not glitch. Just remember to not let anyone get your staff. The player that is managing the two staff CANNOT trade one staff for the other. After he got the Ice staff into the robot, then he went to grab the lightning staff to the other robot. After that, he picked the Ice staff because is needed for later. For the last step he put the Ice Staff into the crazy place, went back to the get the lighting staff and put it in the crazy place. After that you're almost done. Good Luck. I know I wrote a lot of stuff but if you do not understand or need help message me :)

The guide by Boarder1993 is good, but there are a couple of tips I'd like to add to ensure that people know how to do things in the most effective manner possible. First of all, it is possible to collect all ice staff parts by round four. I once managed it by round three, but that was an extremely lucky fluke.

Now, and I'm surprised at the number of people who apparently don't know this, for wave 1, you want to shoot the zombies in the leg 8 times. You want to go for the legs, because at this stage, that many body shots will kill them. See if you can line them up so your bullets pass through a bunch of them at a time. THEN knife them.

If you are playing solo then you should activate generator 1 immediately, as you can get a x2 bonus out of the reward chest. In custom games, then you should hold off until wave 2, since the price goes up the more players there are, and you don't get an x2 in custom games co-op.

If you are playing solo then obviously get the Quick Revive, and either buy an M14 or a Ballista. I personally prefer the Ballista, as you can headshot zombies up until round 6 before they start wandering around without their heads, whereas the M14 is substantially weaker. The only drawback to the Ballista is that it is bolt-action, and it is incredibly hard to hit the glowing plane or shoot the robot feet with it.

You want to open up the door to generator 2 first, but make sure you wait until it is snowing. Once it is snowing, open the door and dig up the burial mounds you find. If you're lucky, you should get your first ice staff part in one of the locations. If not, then you'll have to open up the route to generator 3. Make sure to collect the Ice Disc from the tank station, and activate the generators you come across.

Also, there will be a zombie shield part in each route. There are three possible locations. One can be either on top of the tank station, in the little room just past the entrance to generator 1, or at the very end of the trench just past the door to the work station. The other piece is either at the bottom of the fire shaft, in the room just past the entrance to generator one, or near the AK-74u by generator 3 next to a dead soldier.

At this point, you will need enough points to open up the door to No Man's Land and enough to clear the first barrier leading to the Church. At this stage there won't be very many burial mounds, and if you don't get the second Ice Staff part in the main area around the Excavation Site, then you may want to consider re-starting. The third and final piece will be around the Church area.

Next I'd suggest getting the three Wind Staff parts from each of the three giant robots. I'd also recommend starting generator 4, and getting Juggernog as soon as possible. At this point, you may also want to consider buying a better gun, such as the MP40. Either way, once you have all the Ice Staff parts and three of the Wind Staff parts, end the round and rack up points, but I'd advice against going past round 6 at this point. Also, be sure to be on the look out for the plane that drops the first part of the Fire Staff.

It is imperative to get the Lightning Staff parts early, i.e. before round 8, because in later rounds you can get blocked off by the zombies. Also, the first Panzer Soldat spawns at round 8, and that is also a good way for you to get trapped and killed easily. I'd also recommend activating generator 6 and, if you have the money, generator 5 (you can also pick up the Wind Disc.)

Here is a video guide by a YouTuber called TheZombieProject showing that this can be done solo. The first video details how to get the staff parts in the most efficient way possible. If you follow this, then you should be able to have every staff part and disc by round 8 (with the obvious exception of the final piece of the Fire Staff.) The second video details good strategies for training zombies and how to fill the chests, and get kills with the super fists past round 11.

This is the main easter egg for the zombies map origins. Its a real doozy.

Unlike other easter eggs, theres no bank or perma perks, which makes it all the more difficult, but theres no navcard table and only one path to follow. This is the only easter egg that can technically be done solo, although one step requires extremely good timing. I recommend as many players as you can get. And make sure they're decent enough zombies players, as it is unlikely you'll finish this before round 25. I will not be including guides on how to build the staffs and upgrade them, but this is required to complete the easter egg. As well, I assume you have some basic map knowledge and how to open pac a punch. As well, I highly recommedn you do not take the zombie blood that spawns in the chest at spawn. It makes a future step much easier.

Step 1: Build all elemental staffs

This guide: http://segmentnext.com/2013/08/28/black-ops-2-origins-zombie...

will show you how to build them, they're quite easy if you already know what you're doing, I take no credit for the guide, credit to segmentnext.com.

Step 2: Upgrade all staffs

This is much more difficult, and doing so sucessfully will give you the 40 GS master wizard achievement. This will likely take you to a relatively high round, and doing this in itself is about as convulated as entire easter eggs on other maps, and its simple the second step. This guide: http://hubpages.com/games-hobbies/How-to-Upgrade-The-Staves-...

will help you, again I take no credit, all credit to hubpages.com. When you have all 4 upgraded staves made, have each player hold one and make sure all 6 generators are turned on (you can't progress with this easter egg unless all 6 generators are on), and you're onto the next step

Step 3: Placing staves in robots

In case you're blind there are 3 massive robots that continuously walk through the map. They always step in the same spot, and if you're there when they step down you go down, so be careful. As well, you can get inside these robots by shooting at their feet when they're stomping down. Sometimes therre feet will have a bright yellow circle on the bottom. If you shoot this and then let the robot stomp you, you will enter the robots head. You would have needed to do this anyway to build the wind staff, but regardless.

After upgrading all the staves you'll notice that each robot has a pedestal in them, this allows you to place a specific staff into it, which you must do with all 4 staves. The locations are:

-The ice staff into Freia the robot walking through church.
-The wind staff in Odin, the center robot
-The lightning staff through Thor, the robot going through spawn.
-The fire staff goes at the bottom of the dig site, where all the staves are built

If the person carrying each respective staff enters the right robots they'll be able to place them by holding cn_X, one all are placed, they will vanish and reappear back in the dig site, where they can be picked up again.

Step 4: Super punch

For this step you must obtain the super punch melee upgrade. To do this you must kill a number of zombies at 4 different locations around the map. Be careful though because all the chests are located in an area a robot steps, and if it steps on the chest before you finish filling it, you have to start that chest over.

The locations of the chests are:

-Right beside stamin- up and generator 5.
-behind jugernog and generator 4.
- Entering the dig sight make your first left and you will be there.
- Immeidately as you enter the church area.

You should be doing this on an early round, as it can be quite hard killing enough zombies on later rounds. Try to do this as you are building the staves.

When you have filled all 4 chests head to the chest over by generator 6 (behind the church) and holsd cn_X giving you the super punch. Although for the next step only 1 person needs the super punch, everyone should grab it as they will need it later.

Step 5: Obtaining the lantern

Although all players in the game are able to do this, its easiest if just one person do so. This can be done at any time, so I also recommedn you do so as early as possible.

In the tank station (near spawn) there is a tabel to the right of the MP40 on which there are these 4 rune like stones. Have whichever player is going to ge the lantern hold cn_X on one of these stones, putting it in their inventory.

Next they need to run to the top floor of th church, at the back you will see a pedestal full of water. Holding cn_X here will place your stone in the water.

Next, the player who placed their stone needs to begin killing zombies close to it using the super punch. This can be quite diffiuclt on later rounds, which is why the earlier round the better. I suggest the other players stay close to him, but not right beside him so they can revive him if he downs but don't want all their zombies to go to him.

Its hard to tell when you're finished, but if you kill anymore zombies you will see the yellow spirit stop leaving them, in this case you can hold cn_X on the stone, picking it up.

Now you must return to the tank station, where you originally got the stone. But, you must get there without touching any mud. If you do touch mud samantha will yell at you, and you can just place your stone in the water and immediately try again.

You want to aim for the wodden planks placed in the ground. Once you get to the tank station, place your stone where you originally grabbed it and you must begin killing zombies with the punch again. When you are finished you will see the item appear hovering above the table. Grab it and make sure you don't throw it, you will need it for the next step.

Step 6: Opening the hole

This step requires some timing, and everybody on your team has a role.

The person with the lantern needs to stand in the area to the right of stamin- up and gen 5 (opposite the chest) If you look outside the map, you will notice a circle of mud. When ready, your job is to throw a lantern with cn_LB at this circle.

A second person needs to be by juggernog (or anywhere away from the other 3) training 1 or 2 zombies so they dont get in the way.

The third guy is standing by the church chest.

The fourth guy is standing by speed cola and generator 3

At this point, all three robots will start routinely coming at the same time. But, of any given line of the three robots, only one of them will have a single foot that you can enter. Basically what the third and fourth guy are doing are looking to see if the robot near them has an available foot. Th guy at the church looking at the church robot, the guy at speed cola looking at his robot.

The guy with the lanterns is going to be looking at the robot in the center. But, he is not going to enter it if it is in center. The guy by the church will.

So when you what robot has an open foot, you want whatever player is closest to enter the foot, reaching the head of the robot. You will now notice that there is a red button on the console of the robot, which you can hit with cn_X at the same time as this person hits the button, the person with the lanterns needs to throw a lantern onto the mud circle. If you were sucessful the robot will shoot this circle revealing an empty hole.

Doing this step solo is technically possible, but very difficult.

You need to wait until the available foot is the center robot's left foot, as this is closest to the mud circle.

Enter the robot but don't press it right away, wait for the purge sequence to begin, when there is next to no time left press to button, the purge will shoot you out faster then just nrunning, as soon as you land you need to throw the oantern, hoping you get lucky. Very difficult but possible if you have no other people.

Step 7: releasing what's in the hole

Foir this step you need to build the maxis drone. It can be built on any crafting bench and there are three parts their locations are:

Brain
On a table on the lower floor of the starting room, next to the stairs up to generator 1.

Frame
In the Ice Tunnel, near generator 6 in front of the crazy place gateway
Near the crossbone sign on the tank's pathway at the Church
Near the crossbone sign on the returning path for the tank.

Rotors
Near the very bottom of the Excavation Site, on top of a box on a scaffolding next to a lever
On top of the Excavation Site near the Pack a Punch
In the Excavation Site around the Secret Entrance

Assemble the maxis drone and grab it bringing it to this newly opened hole.

Release the maxis drone and he will fly into the hole. I recommend you be very prepared for this step, with many perks and have your upgraded staves ready.

A large number of panzer soldats will spaw, 2 x the number of players in the game, so if you have 4 people 8 will spawn. Thankfully, the upgraded staves can do a lot of damage to these guys, as they can be charged up to fire a more powerful shot.

Once you kill all the panzers you're onto the next step.

Step 8: Killing the pilot

This step is pretty simple, but it can be kind of hard to setup.

Firstly, one player needs to grab a zombie blood, this is why we keep the zombie blood at spawn. So grab this and run outside. If you look at the sky you should see a glowing red plane, it can be kind of tricky as there are alot of planes up there, but only one will be glowing. You need to shoot this plane down with any bullet weapon. If you hit it allit will explode meaning you were sucessful. The next step requires another use of zombie blood, excpet this time you dont have a free one.

The pilot from this plane is going to start running around the dig site, in an anti- clockwise direction. However, you can not see him unless you have zombie blood. Thankfully, there is a way to get another free zombie blood.

Around the dig site there are three wagons on fire. If you shoot all thre of them in a quick enough time, a zombie blood powerup will spawn right next to the pap machine. Have 1 player grab this and start running clockwise around the dig site. The pilot will not attack you, but he has alot of health, so a charged shot from a staff is the best way to take him out. If you do kill him, he will drop the maxis drone, and you're onto the next step.

Step 9: Upgrading the fists

For this step all 4 players (or however many are in the game) need their super punch, and need to upgrade them. Upgrading them is quite difficult however. I did this with 4 people all getting them at the same time, although this is kind of risky. I'd suggest one person at a time go for this, the others train zombies up in other parts of the map.

At this point, any zombis that spawn in the dig site (templar zombies) willhave glowing white arms. If you melee these guys with your fisrt, the glow will go away. You do not need to kill the zombies for this to wor, just melee them once so the glow goes away and kill them with any weapon. When you have meleed about 20 of these guys, a glowing white stone will appear, walking into it will make your screen flash white meaning you have upgraded your fists. Now they have the elemental effect of whatever staff you were holding at the time and are extremely powerful.

All players must get their upgraded fists before moving on.

Step 10: killing zombies in the crazy place

This step is simple but dying here is a real possibility, and trust me (as I've died here many times) it really sucks as this is the last step.

This step is simple, have all players place their upgraded staves in the crazy place, and kill a bunch of zombies in the crazy place, thats it.

You do not need everyone to be in the crazy place, it is usually smart that only 1 or 2 people be down there, the rest above making sure to stay alive.

Monkey bombs are very helpful here, as well as multiple upgraded guns, because you dont have your staff. Something of note, if you are in trouble you are able to grab a staff and kill some zombies, your progress will safe but any kills made while the staff is out wont count, and they continue when it placed back in.

So after killing a multitude of zombies your screen will flash white and boom! 75 GS achievement pop! congrats you just did one of the most ridiculous and complicated easter eggs there is.

Step 10(optional): end cutscene

This part is not required for the achievement, and doing so ends whatever game you're in. Grab the maxis drone and release it in the crazy place, he will go through the portal up above.

Have 1 player go to the blue circle in the center of the room, holding cn_X will give you a game over like normal and then a cutscene will play, which I wont spoil if you haven't already seen it. And thats it! The final easter egg in blops 3 completed!

The actual steps for this easter egg are covered ad nausem everywhere, and much better.

In my multiple attempts at soloing this guide, I watched many different guides and strategies and I wanted to add some of the smaller details that get overlooked to supplement the above guides for those latecomers like me trying to wrap these up.

This is ALL about early round set up. The more you get done early, the better youll be set up in the late steps.

Round 1, get the shovel, and brain. Turn on gen 1, knife zombies to get 100 points (10 per templar zombie) then let the gen complete. Stay on the bad to get all points available. You should have 700. the box will give you a double points

- save for round 3! -

Shoot zombies in the leg 8 times, then knife. Save a full magazine, 8 rounds in the mauser. Repair max amount windows. I like to open up gen 2 side out of spawn and dig the 2-3 spots on round 1 so they might respawn on round 2 or 3 to get extra digs.

Start round 2. Knife zombies for max points. Open up gen 3 side. You can turn on gens 2 and now or next round. You want to collect the 2 zombie shield. parts, tablet, blue record. You might have gotten lucky drops or digs for an extra weapon or a double points or something. Thats great. Max windows, etc.

If you do not get a refill of mauser ammo, either from a max ammo or dig spot START OVER. I have gotten it with the last zombie on the round, so dont restart too early.

You might have enough to buy the MP40 for 1300 this round go ahead.

Now, round 3. You will train zombies around the spawn room where the brain is located. Collect all the zombies down here, then grab the double points and unload your mauser into the horde. Some will be fast, try and headshot them so you can put as many rounds into the horde to max points. You might get a lucky drop in here of a max ammo or another double points or a zombie blood. Avoid nukes and instakills here. MAX YOUR POINTS.

Leave a zombie alive, keep him close if you think he took damage so he doesnt despawn and end the round. This might be slow going, but worth it.

You should have about 6000 points. Enough to open the 2 workshop doors, turn on gen 4, grab juggernog and buy an MP40 if you havent already. Lead the zombie around to dig everything and get points or ammo. Build the shield, etc. Now you should be set. Sometimes you can get enough points to open gen 5 area, you can do this later.

Our next goal is to complete the soul boxes as early as possible. They each take 30 souls. A double kill will only count as one soul. So youre trying to kill zombies one at a time.

The robots will always do a triple robot on rounds 4, 8, 12, 16, etc. They will reset soul boxes when they step on them. So plan accordingly for your next rounds.

I like to use the zombacus website for amount zombies by round. You can do a running count and adjust strategy as rounds play out.

Round 4 has 18 zombies. Round 5 has 24. Round 6 has like 27, round 7 has like 28, round 8 has a panzersoldat and like 28. Round 9 has 29, round 10 has 33.

If you kill your last round 3 zombie as soon as a robot spawns in (make sure not in your lane through middle or church whete youre going for the soul box) you will likely finish the round 4 before they spawn in and skip the triple robot entirely. I also try and count the kills out loud to keep me from just overkilling and wasting zombies. Round 5 should have a box done and enough to get staminup. I had most success with getting that to move around mud faster. You could save to try and buy an stg44 and packa punch by round 6-7 for the panzersoldat, but I always got pinned and died from slow movement.

Hop around the mud for faster movement regardless.

You should fill up another box by the end of round 6 with like 6ish zombies left and points to spare. I like to get quick revive here and try and collect enough for a staff. Maybe ice of you had luck with snow round digs. Maybe wind, or lightning if you have the points. The staffs kill panzers super quickly.

If you do all this and conserve zombies for the box and have no resets, you can fill all 4 and get a thunderfist by round 8! More likely 9 or 10.

Round 10 will always snow, make sure you finish ice staff collection this round no matter what else. Keep a zombie alive even if you have finished the last box or something. This round is when you do all your staff building and upgrading. Depending on how quick you finished the boxes, you might even be able to cleanse the tablet, place it, and get the g strikes done - or close to it.

By the end of round 10, youll want all staffs built and placed in agartha to feed souls with fire in your hand. It takes 30ish souls to complete the fire puzzle, and 20 souls to upgrade a placed staff. So youre double dipping here! You should complete the fire puzzle, and have the 1 or 2 staffs ultimate now (probably wind and lightning). Youll here an audio cue that you did the fire puzzle. If you can, leave agartha to do the real world fire puzzle at the church. Depending on when this finished, you might have just started a round and have a ton of zombies or only a couple left.

This is up to your comfort level on what to do. Try and feed more melee kills to the tablet/gstrike if necessary. If you are confident with your train abilities, go for the church fire puzzle. Finish that, place the fire staff, and feed more kills to finish the staffs off. You can pick up wind/lightning/ice if finished to get kills and finish up fire and/or ice.

I have had everything done by early round 14 and gave me multiple attempts at the rain fire step.

You get a max ammo for turning on all 6 generators from the reward box. Save this for the rain fire step. If you miss, this will give you an extra 2 shots with the g strike grenades without needing to advance rounds and get lucky with a max ammo drop. If you have a golden shovel at this point, you can occasionally dig up max ammos as well. Also, if you did fail and need to advance a round....go ahead and freeze the 3 wagons with the ice staff to get a zombie blood. You might find a perk bottle this way and get more perks from wunderfizz. You probably have way too much extra money here anyway.

You want these steps done as early as possible to do the fist of iron step before round 19.

The fire staff is best for the horde of panzersoldats. They also drop a powerup when they die. If you can get a zombie blood from one of them, you have a chance at killing them easily why they stand there.

My best runs, where I was setup and ready had 2-4 zombies alive. I run far away from the seal, run back and release the maxis drone. I ran back away from thee area (back through the footstep by lightning tunnel towards the mound ramp by the spawn area exit) to keep the zombies away from the panzer spawn. Now head back to the gen 5 area, panzers will have dropped in. Unload on them with fire staff. Grab a zombie blood. Avoid any nukes or instakills.

The goal is to kill them without advancing the round. You might still have time on the zombie blood or one to grab, and immediately go into the next step of shooting the red baron down. If not, go grab ice staff and put out the fire wagons. Counter clockwise run around the mound and you will find him once you shoot the plane down. I have never not shot him down and killed him in one blood.

If you are on the the iron fist now, run back through the bottom of the workshop. Wait for your zombie to reach you...now sprint as much as possible back to the bottom of excavation. Distamce usually makes the zombie despawn, then spawn back in as a crusader. I was able to get 3 or 4 of the iron fist kills on dusty zombies before the next round this way. (Might have to run back and forth a few times to force the spawn in).

You can be ready for agartha kills by round 15 this way.

Also, max zombies on the map is 24. If you have an entire horde grouped up, you can turn and kill only 1 or 2 at a time so you dont get surrounded by spawn ins.

Good luck! This has gotten me farther and farther more consistently than other methods/strategies.

Here we are ladies and gents. The final Easter Egg for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Let's not waste any more time as the EE will do plenty of that for us.

Tips for Your Game:

  • The Easter Egg can be done solo, but I advise doing this in a group.
  • Much of the Easter Egg can be done after you open up all areas in the map, but even more importantly, by keeping one zombie alive. This is critical for eliminating the prospect of messing up and losing your progress.
  • You can get a free pack-a-punched MG08. In order to do so you will need to build the Maxis Drone and have him pick up four golden discs around the map. Their relative locations are as follows:
-Out of the spawn the your first right will have some items on fire. In the near distance will be a little gold disc. If you are in the area of it Maxis will pick it up.
-Above generator 5/Stamin Up on a plank.
-Above the entrance to the church on a wooden plank.
-Near Pack-a-punch machine on a wooden beam on the church side entrance.
Once you pick up the last disc (I advise picking up the one on top of excavation last), your PP MG will appear in front of the pack-a-punch machine. This can only be done once.

Thanks to MrDalekJD for allowing me to use his video.

  • Once you build an ice staff, you will be able to get a free zombie blood every round by putting out the fires on three carts around the excavation area. They are located in the following locations:
    1. Coming out of spawn/workshop, directly to your left.
    2. Going from juggernog to church the church will be to the left.
    3. In front of generator 5.
After you put all three out your zombie blood will appear on top of excavation near the stairs to go down into the site.

Step 0: Pre-Game
Some quick tips.

One of the most important aspects of this Easter Egg I try to stress to people who ask about it is to build your staves as quickly as you possibly can. The lower rounds are more crucial than any one of the later rounds can ever be. Your pre-game should be money saving mode to the maximum.
-Everyone should buy MP-40s (1,500 points) and leave the box tapping for later on.
-*You should open up excavation (2,500 points), generator 5 area (1,250) and church upstairs (1,500) ASAP. What this allows your team to do is complete not only the staves themselves, but all of their ultimate steps aside from the charging in as few rounds as possible.
-LEAVE THE DIG SITES ALONE UNTIL SNOW APPEARS! This is absolutely vital for staying on low rounds and not forcing your team into the higher onslaughts. Every bit of you wants to dig them whenever you see one, but be sure to save them for the snowing rounds.
-Do not take the zombie blood that appears as a reward for powering up generator 1. We will need this for step 11.

Note that there are many different ways, and many interchangeable steps to solving this Easter Egg. These are the steps I like to do when I run it with people as they give everyone clear, concise goals and opportunities to contribute.

Step 1: Open Open Open em' All!
Opening all of the areas.

Our first goal needs to be opening up the main area (through gen 2/workshop) and moving immediately to the chests by juggernog. Here you want everyone to save up enough to purchase juggernog while filling the chests. As soon as everyone has 2,500 points power up generator 4 and grab juggernog. Now we want to open the excavation site, generator 5, and the church building. Now this may seem like a lot of opening for very limited funds early on, but it works wonders later.

At this point you should be buying ammo for the MP-40 whenever needed, and saving every single point for opening the entire map.

Remember if you need to kill zombies to do it in one of the following locations as to alleviate the hassle later on:

  1. Upon leaving the workshop heading toward to large area to your left below excavation is the first box.
  2. Next to generator four, on the other side of juggernog.
  3. On your way to church the first mud area you pass contains a chest.
  4. Next to generator five which is on the opposite side of the map to generator four (juggernog perk machine).

The second you get excavation site, generator 5, generator 3, and the church building opened slow the round having someone baby sit the final zombie. This moves us into step 1.5.

I advise you save a zombie to complete the following steps.

Step 1.5: Collection Agency
Collecting all available parts.

When everything is open you will want to scavenge the map looking for the different pieces to the staves, the zombie shield (vital tool), Maxis Drone (needed for the EE), and the record machine. If you've opened all the areas you will be able to complete the zombie shield, Maxis Drone, wind staff, lightning staff, and record machine. Keep in mind if you come across a round where it is snowing, scurry throughout the map and dig up any sites you find in the hope of getting a blue staff piece.

Maxis Drone Pieces:
Brain:
-Always found in spawn on the desk in the first room.
Frame:
-Near the crossbones sign on the path leading in front of the church.
-Near the crossbones sign on the path leading to the rear of church.
-In the excavation site around the spiral staircase BEFORE entering the bottom site.
Rotors:
-Also in the excavation site around the spiral staircase before entering the bottom site.
-On top of excavation in the area of the pack-a-punched machine.
-Near the bottom of the excavation site, next to one of the levers reachable only by the wooden walkway.

After gathering the necessary pieces to the Maxis Drone, I suggest building it in the church. It can be a huge boost to a team that needs to run away via the tank, and can be easily accessed without too much trouble.

Record Machine Pieces:
Black Record:
-On top of the excavation site, to the left of the pack-a-punch machine in the wheelbarrow.
-On the excavation wall on the left hand side of the path by the church stairs. In other words, if you were to walk from the church steps make a left and it will be on your right hand side sitting on the ledge on the wall right before you get to the big mud pit area.
-Coming from spawn instead of taking the staircase up toward excavation it will be sitting on the box that has the engine on it right at the base of the stairs.
Gramophone:
-Located inside the excavation site by the desk where you need to place the gramophone to power up the stairs to enter the cavern. It will be on the ground.

You will need to place the gramophone on the desk to open up the bottom of excavation in order to descend and to create the staves.

Zombie Shield Pieces:
Face Screen:
-In the generator 3 area near speed cola heading toward the workshop behind the crate.
-In the trench in front of the fire tunnel on the desk.
-Inside the fire tunnel on the table before the Agartha gateway.
Handles:
-Upon exiting generator 2 instead of going toward the workshop, at the end of the trench headed the other direction in the wheelbarrow.
-In the trench room heading toward generator 2 from spawn on the desk.
-On top of the tank station next to generator 2 on some piping.
Shield Frame:
-Behind juggernog, in the mud area where you fill up the chest, opposite of the MP-40 on the wall.
-In the robot's footprint between excavation and generator 5 area on the church side. It will be in the generator 5 direction corner.
-Just outside of generator 4 heading toward the trenches to church. The mud area right before you enter those trenches.

Once you have the necessary pieces to zombie shield, I suggest building it in the tunnel to Agartha near juggernog (AKA wind tunnel) as this is the most convenient location on the battlefield to grab another shield in a pinch situation.

I advise you save a zombie to complete the following step.

Step 2: Building Staves
Build all Staves.

It is vital that we build the staves as soon as possible. Not only are they a powerful weapon to add to your arsenal, but they are necessary for the Easter Egg. For a how-to on how to build each staff please see "Playing with Power."

This will net the group "Playing with Power."

Step 3: Conquer the Chests--Obtain the Fists
Fill all four chests.

The reason why I place this step sooner than most other people is that the thunder fists are a 1-Hit-Kill weapon until round 18 making them the most lethal tool for powering up your staves in Agartha. After you fill your final chest head to generator 6 and claim your reward from the reward chest.

During this process though be sure to keep an eye out for your ability to get the staves together as well as beginning the ultimate steps--which ironically is our next step.

Step 4: Ultimate Too?!
Build the ultimate staves.

This step is where you will spend the vast majority of your game and rounds on. By this point you should have every area opened, your thunder fists, Maxis Drone and the zombie shield. After everyone has gotten their thunder fists you want to save a zombie at the end of the round and begin the process of doing the puzzles to create the ultimate staves. See "Master Wizard" for the in depth step-by-step on how to get your staves to ultimate. What I will say though is that you should attempt to do as many staves at once as possible. Even if that means going into another round to be able to get that last staff together, I advise it. The more people inside Agartha with thunder fists feeding souls into the staves the better. Also on that note, do not throw Maxis up right away. Wait until the Templar zombies begin to come at a good pace before releasing him as his time is limited, and he may literally revive the entire team if the time calls for it.

Once we have all four staves built to ultimate, step 5 requires us to relinquish them.

Step 5: The Robots Claim All
Place three of the staves in the giant robots, and the fire staff in the excavation site.

At this point every person in the group should have an ultimate staff. Now in order to proceed with this step, make sure everyone has in their possession one of the staves, AS WELL AS, powering up all 6 generators. Once you have done this it's time to split up and start placing staves.

Ice Staff goes into Freya (Church Robot).
Wind Staff goes into Odin (Middle Robot).
Lightning Staff goes into Thor (Gen2/3 Robot).
Fire Staff goes into a newly formed pedestal at the bottom of excavation.

You will see the special slot for each of the staves ONLY after you have powered up all six generators. With this completed we will now proceed to gain the power of the air.

Step 6: Purify THIS!
Purify the tablet found in the tank station by generator 2 in the holy water.

*ONLY ONE PERSON NEEDS TO DO STEPS 6-8.*
Inside of the tank station by generator 2 will be a desk with tablets on it by the far exit. Hold when near this desk to pick up one of the muddy tablets. All the way back in church if you were to go upstairs by the mystery box location is a holder with some holy water in it. By holding when near this holy water with the tablet in your possession you will place it into the water for cleansing.

You must now punch, with the thunder fists, around 25-30 zombies to purify the tablet. You will know when it's done by the loud noise, brightened color, and Samantha's gibbering. The real test will be getting it back.

Step 7: Returning it Clean in a Warzone?
Return the tablet to the tank station where you first got it without touching the mud.

This actually is not as hard as it seems. There are literally 2 spots where you can mess up as the rest is simply standing on wooden planks.

Upon purifying the tablet head out of the church back toward the excavation site. You will go from the wooden planks to the mound of dirt in the middle. Jump from the mound of dirt (spot 1) to the wooden planks and continue down (Spot 2) jumping from the wooden planks of the church area to the wooden planks of the excavation area. Hang a right and head up to the top of excavation and back down the other side running into the workshop, through generator 2, and back into the tank station holding to place your purified tablet on the desk.

Step 8: Airstrikes Require Groundwork
Punch zombies inside the bunker near the tablet until the airstrike grenades appear.

Now all you need to do is kill zombies with the thunder fists by the table. It is completely random as to how many, but pay attention to when souls no longer leave the zombies and or you see the airstrike grenades at the table. Once you retrieve them you are done with this step.

I advise you save a zombie to complete the following steps.

Step 9: You Can Destroy That?
Destroy the seal.

From the point of obtaining the airstrike grenades until you complete the following steps, the three robots will spawn all at once with only ONE of their feet in ONE of the robots enabling entrance. Have the person who got the airstrike grenades also grab the Maxis Drone, and head over to the generator 5 area. Depending on the number of people you have in your group you can either have 2 people waiting for the robot to come with one holding the zombie and one prepping, one person waiting for the robot and one holding the zombie, or if you are doing this as a duo, the person with the zombie looking for the foot and getting into it quickly.
*If you are doing this solo, you MUST wait until Odin's left foot (the right foot to you looking at him) has the entrance hatch. You must also wait until the very last second to engage the button AND must throw the airstrike grenade before getting to the fence.

Seal Location:

Thanks to MrDalekJD for allowing me to use his picture.

This requires coordination. Once inside the robot with the opening in the foot there will be a big red button. It will inform you that the Firing sequence linked/activated. As soon as it tells you this you must inform your partner waiting by the seal that it just armed, after which the person with the airstrike grenades will throw one onto the seal. You know you have destroyed the seal when the once gray tile becomes open.

I advise you save a zombie to complete the following steps.

Step 10: Panzer Onslaught
After throwing Maxis in, kill the 2 per person Panzers.

Now is the time to assemble the team to kill the 2 per person (Group of 2=4 Group of 3=6 Group of 4=8) Panzers that will spawn from the seal once Maxis goes in. You should now assemble your extra players in the area directly to the left of the lightning tunnel in the mud area. If you have 4 players, there should be 2 standing in the mud, one with the Maxis drone, and preferably your weakest player holding the zombie. If you have 3, there should be one waiting, one with Maxis, and one holding and if only 2, the other person should be holding the zombie far away from generator 5.

Fire staff and lightning work best for killing the Panzers so make sure those people with those staves are present for the slaughter. When you are ready have Maxis go into the seal by throwing him up near it and retreat to the mud area and wait the assault. When they are all dead we can move onto the next step.

I advise you save a zombie to complete the following steps.

Step 11: Shooting Down a Spirit
In zombie blood, shoot down the spirit plane.

If you have been following this guide thus far you should have saved the zombie blood from powering up generator 1. Go back to it now and pick it up. While in zombie blood you will see a plane in the air with a faint glow to it. This is the plane you want to shoot, and will only take a few shots to take it down. Once it's down move onto the next step.

I advise you save a zombie to complete the following step.

Step 12: How Did He Survive?
In zombie blood kill the pilot.

You must now kill the Red Baron. He runs clockwise around the excavation site and can only be seen in zombie blood. Chances are your zombie blood from the spawn has run out so we need to get another. The person with the ice staff should now put out the three wagon fires in the center area as you will be able to get a free zombie blood every round by putting out the fires on three carts around the excavation area. They are located in the following locations:

  • Coming out of spawn/workshop, directly to your left.
  • Going from juggernog to church the church will be to the left.
  • In front of generator 5.

After you put all three out your zombie blood will appear on top of excavation near the stairs to go down into the site.

Other people can shoot and kill the zombie, but only the person in zombie blood can see the Red Baron. The important step is to run counter-clockwise (from the exit near church hooking a left like going toward jugg but staying close to the excavation site and doing the circle that way) and when you run into him inform your teammates and blast him.

He will drop a Maxis drone that you will need to pick up and will lead us into our next step.

Step 13: Elemental Fists Sound Good
Mele zombies in front of the staves in excavation.

Now depending on the number of people in your group, you will need to either get an upgraded fists or up to 4 if you have a full group. The best way to do this is in groups of two. Have the people outside simply train zombies while the 2 people inside work on their melee kills. You will be killing zombies with white smoke under their arms, and will know you are finished when the power-up drops and your fists become elemental. Once all members of your group have their upgraded fists it's time to go back to Agartha one last time.

I advise you save a zombie after everyone has gotten their fists.

Step 14: Finale Means a Showdown
Return the staves to their holders in Agartha and power them up.

We must return to Agartha and power up the staves one last time. With each staff in its holder you must punch the zombies until they are all powered up and create the vortex in the middle. Just note that you will only be able to charge the staves a final time if all 4 are in place, even if you do not have 4 people in your group. You receive the achievement when the vortex appears, although you will not get all of the perks, and will not get any cut scene.... what gives?!

Step 000: Finishing is Mind Numbing
How to trigger the final cut scene.

Triggering this last cut scene WILL END THE GAME! There are two ways to do this.
1. Release Maxis into the vortex when it appears.
2. Have everyone stand on the blue vortex on the ground and hold only with all the generators powered up.

And with that I walk away leaving you to ponder the finale, the work, and the achievement.

Thanks to MrDalekJD for allowing me to use his video.

Something useful: A Free Zombie Blood Power-Up:

- To get the free Blood Power-Up you want to freeze 3 wagons around the map that are on fire.

Ice Staff (blue)

Record - Tank Station by Generator 2 (3 locations all in bunker)

Staff Parts - Only when it is snowing, Dig Piles (3 parts). Each area of the map can give one part, spawn/gen2/gen3, church, and the middle.

Fire Staff (orange)

Record – In Church

Staff Parts - (1) Kill Armored Panzer soldats Zombie (Round 7 - Drop reward)

Staff Parts - (2) Start Generator 6 (reward box)

Staff Parts - (3) Shoot down aircraft with orange glow. There is a audible indication when it is out. (raining) Will drop staff part around dig site (2 O’clock)

Lightning Staff (purple)

Record - Wind Cave

Staff Parts - (1) Ledge only accessible from tank (1st section before stop on right)

Staff Parts - (2) Ledge only accessible from tank
(2nd section by dig site on left)

Staff Parts - (3) Ledge only accessible from tank (2nd section by church on right)

Wind Staff (yellow)

Record - Lightning Cave or near its entrance

Staff Parts

One part in each of the 3 Giant Robots

To enter: Shoot glowing foot to open hatch and have that foot step on you. Part inside.

B) Assembling the staffs

In order to construct a staff (once the record and 3 parts for a given staff have been obtained) an elemental stone is required. These stones are located in the Crazy Place.

To access the Crazy Place,

1) Take the gramophone to the corresponding named cave (fire staff = fire cave, ect..)

2) Place gramophone on bench to open portal.

3) Located on a pedestal near center of room in the elemental stone.

4) Build exit and leave.

5) Repeat process inother caves to get other stones

To construct a staff (once all 5 parts are collected, Same for all staffs)

1) Use gramophone to open staircase under pack-a-punch

2) Below Pack-a-Punch there are 4 knight statues, each a color of the 4 staffs. Go to the appropriate color statue and build the staff.

Step 3: Upgrade the Elemental Staffs to their Ultimate Version

Upgrading the wonder weapons on Origins require you do do two puzzles per staff. One in the Crazy Place and one on the regular map. Some puzzles are
difficult and so here is a cheat sheet:

https://m.imgur.com/r/CODZombies/lvZrD

*Ice Staff*

Go to the Ice Area in the Crazy Place. Look above. You will see a line of symbols. To your right is a light blue slab with a different type of symbol on it. This symbol correlates to one of the symbols in the line above you. Look in the picture and shoot the correct one with the Ice Staff. A new symbol appears on the slab. Do the same until you've done all symbols in the line.

The second Ice puzzle requires you to shoot 3 tombstones with the Ice Staff, and then with a Ballistic weapon. The first tombstone is behind Juggernog behind the footstep where the soul box is. The second tombstone is in the next footstep of the same foot, you'll see it when facing the Excavation Site. The third tombstone is behind the building at Generator 2, where the tank rides by. There also lies a destroyed robot.

That's the second puzzle. Go the the bottom of this step to find the rest.

*Fire Staff*

1 - This step takes place in the Crazy Place. You can get there by building a portal in one of the element mines. Once inside find the fire area. It should see the color red in various spots.

There are four large concrete cylinders that hold four candles. In order to complete this step you must kill Templar Zombies with the Staff of Fire near these candles. The candles will light one at a time as you kill zombies.

The the fourth candle is lit a noise is heard and then Samantha will begin talking. That indicates that this step is complete and you can move on to the next step.

2- Now go to the church. At the bottom around the tank you will see unlit torches with a number near it. The one without a number represents the number 4.

Go to the upper floor of the church and look on the wall. You will see symbols where some of which are lit up. Look at the picture at the top of this EE step to see which symbol represents which number. Once you know the number, go to the bottom floor near the tank and shoot the torches with the numbers you found on the top floor.

That's the second puzzle. Go the the bottom of this step to find the rest.

*Wind Staff*

Go to the Ice Area in the Crazy Place. Look above. You will see a few circles of symbols. Go to the picture, there it will tell you in what position each circle has to be. Shoot the each circle (where exactly doesn't matter) with the Wind Staff to make it move.

_*After you've done the second puzzle, the final steps will be the same for all staves.*_

An orb will appear in the hidden area of the Excavation Site. At the bottom of the Excavation Site there are four objects that look like stone gears. Each of these stone gears has for knobs with what looks like a Gem on the end. The orb is below those gears and must be released. In order to be released all of the gears must show the same color gem as the staff element color.

There are four switches located in this room. Two are on the cement steps and two are on the wooden walkways. The two on the cement steps control the top two stone objects. The switches on the wooden walkways control the bottom two objects. I added numbers to the pictures on the right. The objects have red numbers and the switches have green numbers. Switch number one controls object number one, and so on.

Approach a switch and press your action button. One of the four objects will rotate, and the gem will change colors. Continue to press your action button until all for of these objects have the same gem color as you staff.

When all of the colors are correct, shoot the Orb below the cement objects with your staff. It will make a noise and shoot up into the air.

Now go to the Crazy Place and place your stave in the corresponding altar. Now you need to collect souls in the Crazy Place by getting kills. Once you have enough, you can pick up your upgraded staff!

Aternatively, you can shoot an upgraded staff shot at the ground in front of you and quickly pull your shield out. The kills of the staff's storm will count as melee.

• Frame

Step 12: Destroy the Panzer Soldats

From there you want to continue killing zombies to power the staffs. You know you completed the step when your achievement appears and a vortex appears in the middle.

How to activate the final cutscene:

- Triggering this will end the game and trigger a cutscene.

• Take the Maxis Drone to the Crazy Place (Argatha) after releasing Samantha. He will then fly into the vortex.

• You can also press X on the teleporter in the Crazy Place to also trigger the ending cutscene. To do this method you must have all 6 Generator's on.

This'll unlock upon completing the Easter Egg.

The Easter Egg CAN be completed solo but it is difficult to pull off and extremely time consuming to the point that, once you secure strong weapons and melee, it will be during higher rounds when they will not be as effective. Furthermore, Step 3 can be very difficult to pull off solo (but still possible). As such, for all the steps I recommend four players to get more but weaker zombies at earlier rounds. The steps for both solo and co-op are the same, with certain tweaks at Step 3.

Before you start tackling the Easter Egg, you need to set it up. In addition to the usual rule of Jugger-nog + good setup, you need to do these early on (third setup can be done later but it’s advisable to do it early on):

• Build all four staffs, (See “Playing with Power Trophy for instructions).
• Upgrade each staff to its ultimate form. (See "Master Wizard" Trophy for instructions)
• Concomitantly with above two steps, acquire the airstrike bomb (only one person has to do this) (Further, if you are a group of four and working on filling the chests (see “Overachiever Trophy for more information) early on, then disregard that step as you will get the Thunderfist after filling up all four stone chests. Otherwise, use the Zombie Shield): ? First, pick up the slab from the table by the Generator 2 bunker’s rear exit (to pick up, hold ). It will appear on the HUD as a mudded slab.
? Take the slab to the Church and place it on the baptismal font between the Mystery Box and the boarded-up window.
? Once done, kill zombie with melee there. You can use the Zombie Shield which takes 9-15 hits before it disappears (other melee forms include Thunderfist or normal melee with Insta-kill activated). You need 20 or so kills near the font. Once a sound is made and the zombie souls no longer “transfer” there, that means it’s cleansed. The slab will look clean, in a clear off-white colour. Pick it up.
? Now, head back to the bunker where you found it without touching mud. If you do so, Samantha will yell: “Start over!” This step is not complicated though. From the font, go down the stairs avoiding the tank. Keep going until you reach the Giant’s footprint. Before you step in, you’ll see wooden surface (boards) on the floor. Walk on them (and the elevated area in the middle to reach the other boards) and go down the pathway to the Excavation Site. At the end of the pathway, you’ll see more wooden boards in the walkway that circle the Excavation Site. Make sure to jump from the small steps at the end of the pathway onto the wooden panel. Now, go right and go up the Excavation Site, going through one entrance and leaving through the other. Now, as you leave, at the bottom of the stairs, make jumps necessary to reach more wooden staffs. Keep going until you reach the building. Now, nothing to be worried about, keep going normally and, at the table where you first picked up the slab, hold to place it back on.
? Now, again, melee the zombies in that area by the slab (around 20) until a sound cue is made. The beacon will appear. Pick it up and save it for later. • You will also need to create a Maxis Drone (also for Step Three of the Easter Egg). To see how to build the Maxis Drone, refer to the “Saving the day…all day Trophy.

Now, onto the Easter Egg proper:

1. Step One - “Secure the Keys”: For this step you need to build AND upgrade all staffs. To do those, read “Playing with fire" and “Master wizard Trophies, respectively. Once complete, Samantha will blather on and ends her speech, discouragingly, with “this is step one.”

2. Step Two - “Ascend from Darkness”: This step can be glitched in a good way. In reality, though you don’t have to (read on to see the glitch), you are “required” to place three staffs inside each Giant (Lightning Staff in the Giant by Generators 2/3, Wind inside the Giant by Generators 4/5, and Ice inside the Generator 6/Church giant), and the fire staff in a newly-spawned pedestal in front of the four staffs pedestal at the bottom of the Excavation Site. However, if you’re using the glitch, you can skip the Giants altogether; go to the bottom of the Excavation site, place the upgraded Fire Staff in the newly-spawned pedestal (hold even when not prompted), then walk up to the Fire Staff’s crafting pedestal and pick it up. Do that again 3 more times (totaling four times) and a blue aura will emerge from the pedestals, and a speech by Samantha will cue the successful completion.

3. Step Three - “Rain Fire”: After Step Two, the Giants will start spawning together at a much higher frequency. You need to enter a Giant and press the red button there, while the other person throws the Airstrike bomb outside the Lightning Cave (in the corner beyond the fences, you will see a concrete white surface. This is where you will have to (but not just yet) throw the Airstrike bomb. By this point, you should know that three Giants will have a total of six feet. But during this step, out of all six feet, only ONE will be ‘accessible.’ Station anyone who is free (i.e. whoever is not guarding a zombie) nearby the Giant’s footprints in anticipation. Once an access point is determined, a player goes into the Giant via the foot. As the person with the Airstrike bomb waits in the corner by the Lightning Cave, the person inside the robot must press the red button. Once the countdown begins, the player must inform the Airstrike carrier, at which point the Airstrike carrier will throw the Airstrike bomb and make it land on the concrete surface (if missed, a demonic laughter will be heard). Fire will be shot from the skies that will break the concrete surface.

4. Step Four - “Unleash the Horde”: This step is not complicated but it CAN be difficult. After you make the hole with the Airstrike bomb, send in the Maxis Drone. At this point, a ‘horde’ of Panzer soldats will be ‘unleashed’ (specifically, there will be two Panzers per player, so brace yourself/yourselves!). Once you kill them, Samantha will speak to you, annoucing the step’s successful completion.

5. Step Five - “Skewer the Winged Beast”: This step is glitched, and if you mess up you will have to start over. The step involves killing an invisible zombie, but if killed while NOT seen, it’ll glitch out the whole EE and so far there is no workaround, so avoid putting up traps at all costs. With that in mind, you must do this step using Zombie Blood. While in Zombie Blood mode, you need to look in the sky and see a plane on fire (much like the one you got a fire staff part from). Shoot it down with a BULLET gun and an invisible zombie (“Red Baron”) will drop and run clockwise in the walkway around the Excavation Site. He can only be seen during Zombie Blood Mode, and he will look like a normal zombie. So, what you need to do is, as soon as you shoot down that plane, within that same Zombie Blood timeframe exit the Pack-a-Punch area through the rear exit (i.e. the one facing the Church) and turn left on the walkway (i.e. counter clockwise), you will run into him and soon as you see him, kill him with an upgraded staff. He will drop a Maxis Drone. Pick it up. (If you missed him, just pray to your deity that it didn’t glitch and do NOT place or try to kill him outside Zombie blood. Just wait until you spawn the next one to re-attempt it.

There is a tip to semi-guarantee the elimination of this monster. Keep in mind, again, that he needs to be killed by the person who is in zombie blood. Thanks to chavarlison for this great tip!

We found a way to trap the invisible zombie(can be seen only in blood mode) on the corridor right after you open No Man's Land, right after the MP40 wallbuy. The tight corridor right before the robot's step. Just park a person or two to block the way and the zombie will get stuck right there for you to kill at your leisure. Didn't know you can do that lol.

6. Step Six - “Wield the Fist of Iron": Having procured the Maxis Drone, head to the bottom of the Excavation Site (if you are four people, take turns of two so as not to be over). A new type of zombies will appear there; Templars with glowing, smoky white hands. Kill them using thunder fist near the circle and their souls will ascend. Each person must kill 20 of these zombies using Thunderfist. After the 20th zombie, a slab with a fist carving will be dropped. Pick it up. Once every player picks one up, it’s time for the final step.

7. Step Seven - “Raise Hell”: Take the Staffs back to the Crazy Place and place them on their respective pedestals. Gather in the centre and start punching Zombies there with your new melee. You will need to kill many and it may get overwhelming so brace yourself/yourselves. If done successfully, the screen will turn white and shortly after, the Trophy will pop!)

8. Step Eight - “Freedom”: Launch Maxis’ drone and enjoy!

Here is a video explaining the steps:

An interesting thing was discovered, namely that the steps can be done out of order, which makes completing the quest much easier. First of all, get the Kung Fu power as early as possible (we received it approximately at round 14 and we didn’t have staves yet). Then you can collect the staves and go get a bomb in the bunker (one player kills the zombie with his fists, and the other covers him). If Panzer soldiers appear, they can be easily killed with Boomhilda (a pumped-up Mauser will kill in a few shots up to 40 rounds) or with the Lightning staff. Now improve the staves, put them in robots, and then in order. When you upgrade your fists, proceed in the same way: one kills, the other covers (if there are four of you, then divide into pairs).

PS It doesn't matter which player shoots down the orange plane.

1 step. Turn on all generators. In the future they should work. If they are turned off, no problem, turn them on again.
Step 2. Collect all the staves.
Step 3. Upgrade your staves.
Step 4 Insert the upgraded staves into the heads of the robots and onto the pedestals. The staff of electricity is in the right robot (goes through the 2nd generator).
Air staff into the central robot. Ice staff at the left robot (going through the church). Fire staff in the pedestal near the statues under the improver. All staves cannot be placed at the same time. Then you can pick them up.
Step 5 Get the power of Kung Fu. Fill all the soul boxes near Jagger forfeits, Stamina, Improver, church.
Step 6 Get a super bomb. Near generator 2, in the bunker, you can take stone tiles with the image of a fist. Bring them to church, to the bowl. Then you need to charge the tiles with souls. You only need to kill zombies with your fists. When the tile is clean, you need to bring it back to the table where you took it from. It is important not to step on the dirt, otherwise you will have to come back to the bowl and simply interact with it. Jump on the boards. Next, charge the tablet with souls again. One person can have a grenade, so don't torment the whole team with these planks.
Step 7 One player must climb into the central robot. The second player with a super bomb should stand opposite the fallen plane (to the right of generator 5). The player in the robot presses a button in the robot, and the player on the ground simultaneously throws a bomb at the light slab next to the plane. When a hole appears, launch the Maxis drone.
Step 8 Takeo with the Zombie Blood bonus must shoot down the red plane (it burns the same way as the plane with the staff part). Next, also as a bonus, you need to find zombies in the trenches near the improver. And kill him with the Fire Staff. The zombie will drop a Maxis drone, pick it up.
Step 9 Level up your Kung Fu power. Near the statues with staffs, you need to kill the smoking zombies with your fists. After killing several zombies, a stone tablet with a fist will fall out as a bonus; it will also glow; all players should receive these.
Step 10 In Crazy Place, place the staves on the pedestals. Then just kill the zombies, preferably with pumped up fists. When everything is ready you will receive the achievement.
To finish the game and see the ending, launch the Maxis drone while standing on the blue disk, a portal will open. Enter it and the game will end like in Mob of the Dead.
