How to unlock the Mazed and Confused achievement in Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Definitive Guide
I advise 2 or 3 people. 4 seemed to be too much for this strategy due to the tight quarters. But this can also be done easily in solo.
Start a custom game on EASY
Play freestyle and do whatever you need to collect the following:
Juggernog
Speed Cola
Mule kick
… and three very decent weapons.
Once you have those, head to the pack-a-punch machine room (should be around round 10 or so), and…
STAY PUT!
You can play a good 10 rounds or so right in the room. One or 2 people shoots at the stairs the other guards the window. When the zombies drop down in front of you on the stairs, they actually start to walk up a step or two, then turn around. That helps take them out before they get to you.
You stay in this room because it is rather safe – only the window or the stairs are the way in and if you take turns, you will quickly earn the $5000 you need to pack a punch each weapon. Alternate turns, and after a few rounds, by round 17 or 18, you should each have 3 PaP’d guns and be in great shape.
It may be tight quarters, but with 3 good PaP’d guns and speed cola and jug, you will be fine.
After getting solid feedback below, it is worth noting that the duration you stay in the PaP room will vary. You can leave the PaP room at any time you feel ready. The point of staying there is 1) it is easy to defend and 2) you will be able to PaP your guns. Once that is done, you can head back to the maze. Some found it beter to leave around the round 17 or 18 mark... when you do leave, head to the fountain that is at the beginning and you will survive through wave 20 with no problem. Find a good corner to hole up in that has an easy exit if you get jammed.
It also helps to have monkeys…
Good luck!
(if you can contribute, please do. If you vote negative, let me know why. Again, this is a simple strategy for people that know the map and don’t need to be handheld, but rather just want an idea of how to get this easily…)
Important:
*Difficulty: easy/original;
*number of players: solo/multiplayer;
*be on the maze in round 19;
*Find your way through the maze to the fountain in the centre because it´s the best spot to survive.
Go down into the tunnels.
Follow the chalk lightning bolts to find the power switch. Turn the power on.
Find the glowing green key to open Leroy's cage [hold (x) to pick it up] (First spawn right beside Leroy - random spawn thereafter).
Open Leroy's cage [ground floor - Sheriff's building] by holding (x) beside it whilst the key is in your inventory.
Find alcohol [hold (x) to pick it up]. (First spawn right beside Leroy - random spawn thereafter)
Alternatively buy alcohol from the saloon by holding (x) beside the cash register [1000pts].
Have Leroy break out of the Sheriff's building.
NB: When giving Leroy alcohol face directly towards the object you want destroyed as when he's been given his drink he will turn around and run away from you. To give Leroy alcohol hold (x) beside him while there is alcohol in your inventory.
NB: Shooting Leroy will have him run back to his cage so avoid this.
---Buy Juggernog and survive the rounds however you please.---
Get good weapons from the box.
Near the end of round 19 keep a couple of walking zombies alive.
(Of course this can also be done at round 20+ but will be harder.)
Proceed to the mansion.
Wait until Leroy follows you to beside the mansion's front gate then give him the alcohol to have him smash it open.
Open the front doors of the mansion. [1250pts]
Kill the floating ghost women while making your way upstairs then past the movable bookshelf and drop down into the maze.
NB: As they steal 2000pts on each contact, having a friend with no points run in ahead of you and kill them all will make this much easier.
Find your way through the maze to the fountain in the centre.
Do not exit the maze. Do not jump into the well. Do not go to pack a punch. Doing any of this will void the achievement for one round.
Kill the remaining zombies from round 19 near the fountain/well.
You must then hold out here from the very start of the round to the very end of the round.
Pop goes the cheevo.
Happy hunting

For Coop I would go with Juggernaut, Speed Cola, Mule Kick and Vulture Aid . For weapons I would go with LSAT, Galil or HAMR and it helps if the player also has a Ray Gun and Time Bomb. I would suggest holding in the Courthouse upstairs until round 19 then get a crawler and head to the fountain in the maze.
Update 2: User "mrstaypuft77" in the comments of this solution confirms that this still works as of July 31, 2013. You may have to kill a few more zombies after using the Time Bomb.
Ok, I'll make this short and to the point.
This is my first guide here on TA, and although I didn't look at any guides for this achievement specifically...I'll let you in on a little secret to make this really easy.
The basics apply, have good teammates or you can try this on solo easy, whatever floats your boat.
Get good weapons, good perks, and survive up to round 19. Make sure someone gets a Time Bomb, this is necessary.
Before round 19 ends make your way to the maze, doesn't matter if you're in the center or the inside side walls for the achievement to count, just find a spot. I personally prefer the long lanes on the sides if you can find one.
Kill off the remaining round 19 zombie(s) and get ready for round 20.
Place the Time Bomb down as soon as round 20 starts.
Get at least ten zombie kills to make sure the round counts, pull out the Time Bomb remote and go back in time.
Bleep Bloop, achievement is yours!
This is my first guide like I said, please don't be harsh! I didn't necessarily plan to try this with the Time Bomb, I just had it and used it and discovered it just reset the round and the achievement still popped.
There will be a link for my video explaining in more detail about how to get this achievment!

Buried "Mazed and confused Achievement" Mazed and confused Trophy Mazed and confused: In Buried, Survive an entire round within the maze on round 20 or higher
To complete this achievement we found it easiest to hold in the packapunch area till round 19 then keep one alive and find a dead end in the maze
Once there just hold till the end of the round and achievement complete
There does seem to be a lot more than normal zombies on this round but packapunched weapons helps and with trample steams as a backup its quite easy
Set your game to easy. This is can be done easier with two people. You will need to travel through the mansion to reach the hedge maze. If you have PhD flopper you can jump off of the stairs of the mansion to survive until round 20 (works better with one person on each). Then when Round 20 starts make sure you are in the maze. The best location is the fountain because they zombies mostly come from the front. Some do appear behind you but in small numbers.
You want at least one Pack-a-Punched weapon, two is better, and Juggernog. Speed Cola will also be helpful and so will amassing several Perma-Perks (Juggernaut, PhD Flopper, Lucky Mystery Box, etc). This isn't too hard to accomplish with a basic understanding of the map to be able to prepare yourself for 20. Ideally you will have a Ray Gun and the Paralyzer or a Pack-a-Punched LMG.
This is probably the hardest of the miscellaneous trophies in the DLC. Set your game to Easy difficulty to avoid any unnecessary hassle. In order to get to round 20 without too much effort, try and get at least one decent weapon (LSAT, AN-94 or PDW-57 for wall weapons; Galil, HAMR or Wonder Weapon from the box) and Pack-a-Punch it, as well as Jugger-nog and Speed Cola. Extra perks will help, but aren't necessary. There aren't any good places to train zombies in Buried, however outside the Sheriff's Office is the best location. Standing in the alleyway where Jugger-nog is located is a fantastic place to camp.
Once you reach round 19, head to the Hedge Maze and go to the centre with the fountain. Ideally, you'll want the Hedge Maze to spawn so there is only one opening to the fountain area. If the maze doesn't spawn to your liking, simply head back through the Mansion and back into the Hedge Maze to respawn it until you get a suitable maze. End the round, then simply survive the whole of round 20 (or higher) in the maze. This can be done solo, but is slightly easier with 2 players.
Below is a video demonstrating how to survive in the Hedge Maze in solo, courtesy of Rooster Teeth.
