Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Story related achievement. Can't be missed.

This achievement will unlock after completing the sixth mission "Karma", no matter what difficulty you are playing on, whether you kill DeFalco or not.

Mission 6 - Karma - Story progression achievement, cannot be missed.

This mission will affect which achievements that may and may not be earned later in the story mode. Depending on what you do by either saving Karma or letting Falco escape with her will determine whether or not you will earn 'Show Down' or 'Good Karma' during the mission 'Odysseus'. If you allow Falco to take Karma, the strike force mission 'Second Chance' will become available to you. If you want to earn the 'Giant Accomplishment' achievement, it is best to let Karma escape in this mission so that you can play the 'Second Chance' mission.

When you have the option to save Karma, you will need to decide which achievement you are going for during the mission 'Odysseus'. You will have the option to complete 'Good Karma' or 'Showdown'. 'Good Karma' will require you to save Karma in this mission or in the 'Second Chance' strike force mission. I suggest letting Karma escape with Falco to unlock the 'Second Chance' mission. This way you will be able to play that mission and complete the challenges.

If you choose to go for the 'Showdown' achievement in the 'Odysseus' mission, you have to let Karma go with Falco so Falco is present in mission 9. To complete the challenges for the 'Giant Accomplishment' achievement, you can choose to replay the 'Second Chance' mission instead of completing it from resuming the campaign. If Karma is present during the mission Odysseus, you will not be able to earn the 'Showdown' achievement.

Mission Challenges:

1) Obtain retina scan in less than 60 seconds - When you have control of Ziggy, you have 60 seconds to make it to the guy to scan his retina. Jumping makes you go faster, but only jump when you are on a level surface and not climbing up walls or the pipes. You will have a timer in the bottom right of your screen. If you run over the 60 seconds, simply reload the last check point.
2) Retrieve prescious cargo (Ziggy) - You will need to go into the room where Ziggy is which the the room where the retina scan gives you access. The spider will be laying on the floor in the room to the left of the first intel location.
3) Kill 5 soldiers with head shots in Club Solar - You will have a Kap-40 with a RDS. Many of the kills you can get will be in slo-mo. When you make a head shot, you will hear the ever distinctive sound.
4) Ensure that no civilians are killed - This challenge is also done in club solar after Karma is taken by Falco. Make sure you do not hit any civilians in the cross fire.
5) Incapacitate 20 soldiers with the Combatant Suppression Knuckles - The knucks are found in the armory after the bomb goes off. Make sure you have your access kit equipped before starting this mission.
6) Protect the ASD from destruction - You will be able to access the ASD from a locked room during the pursuit through the mall to capture Falco.
7) Eliminate 5 enemies that are rappelling - When you reach the outdoor area after going through the mall, helicopters will be dropping in troops. Kill 5 of these soldiers rappelling from the choppers.
8) Eliminate 25 soldiers in the outdoor area - This is the area right after the mall and described above. Simply take out 25 soldiers in this area. You can kind of take your time pushing through as there will be reinforcements until you progress through the level.
9) Collect all three intel - The first intel is located in the server room on a desk in the back right side of the room. The second intel is located in a shop on the bottom floor, right side of the mall and it behind the cashier counter.
10) 100% survivability - Complete the mission without dying or failing a check point.
