How to unlock the Love And War achievement in Call of Duty: Black Ops III - Definitive Guide

FINAL UPDATE: THIS ACHIEVEMENT IS NOW CONFIRMED FIXED! You will be able to complete this Easter egg as normal and get the achievement, congrats to Avenge El Chapo for being the first one on TA to get this done after it being fixed. It was a long arduous journey but we managed to get Treyarch to fix this. Thank you to everyone who signed the petition and contacted the Better Business Bureau, without the attention this got on here and Reddit we wouldn’t have been able to get through the Activision and Treyarch, I’m sure a bunch of people will be glad they can finally 100% black ops 3, let people know in the comments if you’re looking for a group, it shouldn’t be too hard to find one. Good work guys!

This achievement is currently (and has been for some time) bugged and unobtainable. Looking at the comments, you can complete the Easter egg and after the cutscene you get disconnected from the game and do not get the achievement. So if your intention is to get this achievement, do not bother right now until this is fixed. Reading the comments, people have contacted Treyarch and they say they are looking into it, but who knows how long that will take. I will update this guide if I learn this achievement is fixed.

Update: There’s been a lot of attention drawn to this broken achievement (which after over 13 months is still not fixed). A change.org petition was made (link here: https://www.change.org/p/treyarch-studios-fix-the-gorod-krov...) which I suggest everybody sign. As well, thanks to ChrisD0811 for suggesting opening a case wth the better business bureau. It is unlawful for treyarch to sell a broken DLC so there is a case to be made to the BBB, who will hopefully force Treyarch to make a fix if enough complaints are filed. Link to open a case: https://www.bbb.org/consumer-complaints/file-a-complaint/get...

Don’t be afraid to tweet at Treyarch, post on Reddit, etc. (while being civil). Make sure they know we haven’t forgotten about this and won’t stand for them ignoring the complaints because the game is not at the peak of it’s popularity. With luck hopefully they’ll have no choice but to look into a fix.

Update 2: As of today (July 31, 2019) Treyarch officially tweeted that they would be actively looking in to a fix for this broken Easter egg, yay! No word on how long this might take (and this is unfortunately not a guarantee that it will ever actually be fixed), but this shows we finally managed to get through to them and forced them to address it. I’ll update this guide when I learn that it has been fixed, but stay optimistic
!

This is the main Easter egg for the DLC map gorod krovi, and boy, it's a real doozy. In my opinion the hardest Easter egg in black ops 3.

You can do this with any number of people, although I recommend as many as you can, as it makes it easier, this is nearly impossible solo, but if you're up for the challenge go for it. This Easter egg is quite time consuming so make sure you give yourself a ton of time (at least 3 hourssr) as it will likely take you to round 20+ so if you're not used to playing zombies at higher rounds this may be very difficult for you. Here are some tips to make it a bit easier:

1. Thanks to PhilTheStampede for clarifying the requirements for these helmets. There are 3 helmets in the map which can make things much easier. A mangler helmet, which while worn lets you do more damage to the Russian Manglers and take less damage. The Valkyrie drone helmet which, same thing as the other one, just with Valkyrie drone, and finally the dragon wings (which I guess aren't a helmet). I wouldn't worry about the Valkyrie drone helmet since they're easy enough to deal with already, but the mangler helmet is very useful for the boss fight and the final challenge step, as well the dragon wings let you travel to the hatchery instantly and for free, which is very useful because you'll need to go over there a lot late game.

To get the wings, all players must travel to the hatchery from the 3 dragon flight locations. Obviously it is best to have done all players at once, meaning it can be done for as little as 1500 points. The wings are found on a mannequin in the department store, second floor. She is near the back and facing the wall.

The mangler helmet requires that 5 manglers have their gun arms and helmets shot off before they are killed, you should easily get enough manglers to do this during the dragon strike defense, focus fire on those two areas. The mangler helmet is on the third floor of the store, also on a mannequin near the stairs.

2. Something else key to this Easter egg is properly biding your time, you want to do this on as low a round as possible, so it's important that you do as much as you can every round. You can do a lot of stuff at once. Make sure you do the dragon strike defense on as early a round as you can, even if you don't think you have adequate weapons, try it anyway as soon as you get to the hatchery. The gauntlet as well can and should be built as soon as the dragon egg is obtained. Basically, before starting the next round think if there is anything you can possibly do to progress the Easter egg and do it, you don't want to be stuck doing the challenges on a high round.

Prerequisites

There are no required gobblegums for this Easter egg, that being said, the gobblegum “undead man walking” is a god send for the bulk of this Easter egg, and it is very difficult to complete without it. For the boss fight at the end I'd recommend you bring in an aftertaste (let's you keep perks if downed and revived) but nothing is required.

Once you're all ready, start up gorod krovi in a private match.

I'm skipping over turning on the power and unlocking pac- a- punch, frankly if you're interested in doing this Easter egg you should know how to do all that.

Step 1: trophy collecting

This step is very long and requires multiple things be done around the map. To start, head over to the hatchery, where the pac- a- punch is, and head downstairs to the sewer entrance. While facing the sewer, look left and up and you will see a scaly egg hanging over you. Shoot this with any weapon and it will roll down to the right of the sewer entrance, hold cn_X to pick it up (any player can do it). This will activate this step and allow you to start collecting trophies. There are 6 trophies around the map, 3 of them you can get without building anything, assuming that area of the maps open, the other 3 are much more difficult. It does not matter what order you get them in, let's start with the easier ones:

Trophy 1: tunnels

From where you shot the egg down, jump into the sewer. As you zoom along, about half way through there is a bright glowing red pipe. It is decently easy to spot, just spray your gun as soon as you see it and you should be fine. Now you must head back to the hatchery (or just have another's player stay there while you shoot the pipe) on the bottom most floor behind the stairs, there is a toilet, which the trophy comes out of, hold cn_X to retrieve the trophy, very simple.

Trophy 2: Eye Beam

Head over to the supply depot area (which has the train crashed into it). Now you want to look for a trap called the “gigant eye beam” which is found on the bottom floor near the back. Activate this for 1500 points and wait for it to run out. The area it was shooting on the ground now reveals a trophy for you to grab.

Trophy 3: Statue

Head over to dragon command (where the power is turned on) and look behind you when you are facing the stairs. You should see a large Russian statue... painting? Thing... it doesn't matter it's very obvious. There are a bunch of people pictured. You must shoot the raised hand on the far right person, which drops the trophy right below him, easy.

Trophy 4: Shield blast

This trophy requires you to have built the shield, which is actually incredibly easy, and a pretty powerful weapon. There are 3 parts around the map. They are: 1. The bunker, 2. The infirmary, and 3. The armoury. The prices are not super hard to find but they do change places every game (while staying in the same general area) I'm lazy so I won't go into detail as to specific locations of these parts. Anyway, grab all three and build the shield in the bunker, only one person needs it for this step, but everyone should get one as it can save your butt on multiple occasions. Head over to the tank station (where you buy double tap) and stand on the railing just to the right of double tap, looking left. You will see a pipe on the wall with a large hole in it, you must whip out your shield and shoot this hole with the RT attack. Doing so will throw the trophy right beside double tap for you to grab.

Trophy 5: Dragon Strike

For this trophy you need to dragon strike... obviously. Here's how you do that:

Obtaining the dragon strike

All players must go over to the hatchery for this. You will want some decent weapons as you're basically camping for 4 rounds. The ray gun mark three makes this incredibly easy, but is not required. From where you spawn in head over to the opposite side of the top floor, where you will see a large device... thing. All players must hold x on this to initiate it. This traps you in the hatchery and the only way out is either completing it or dying. Basically, there are three directions zombies will come from, and there are 4 rounds. Each round the enemies will come from a different side, with them coming from all sides on the final rounds. In addition to the zombies, a fair number of manglers (the armoured zombies) spawn, which have a lot more health. Basically you just need to survive the 4 rounds. The zombies do not give you points and the normal rounds don't go up during this. You are given one free max ammo at the bottom of the stairs, so only take it if you really need it. Once all four rounds are completed, head back over to where you activated it and you can get the dragon strike. One player needs to now head over to the area in front of the supply depot, and use their dragon strike on the large puddle in the middle of the circular area, which will reveal the trophy.

Trophy 6: gauntlet of Siegfried

This one requires you build the gauntlet of Siegfried, which is quite a challenge in itself.

Building the gauntlet of Siegfried

Remember that egg you shot down at the beginning of this Easter egg? Well now you need to place it in a nest. There are many nests around the map, and it is completely irrelevant where you plant it. I planted it out front of dragon command, so do the same, or don't, I don't care. Now you need the dragon to breathe fire on it, this is as simple as just waiting there until it does, it will eventually (note you can also just use the dragon strike on it, if you're not a fan of waiting). The egg now needs to cool for a round, so play a full round, then pick the egg up. At this point, if you head over to the challenges (at spawn) the bottommost one will reveal the next step to getting the gauntlet. You basically have a series of challenges to complete, and they are cumulative across all players, so you don't need to do it individually. The first task is to kill napalm zombies, no not those guys from shangri- la, a napalm zombie on this map is simply a zombie that has been hit by the dragons fire. The easiest place to this is in tank depot. Train a group of zombies and wait for the dragon to breath fire, then whip out your shield (which negates fire damage) and lead the zombies through fire, killing them all once you finish. I don't know the exact number of zombies you need, but it's only about 15, so this won't take you long, you will get a visual notification on your screen when it is finished.
The next challenge is to get penetrating multi kills. This means a bullet went through one zombie and killed another. The best thing to use for this is sniper rifle, especially with double tap. Fire into a group of zombies and you should get this no problem quickly.
Now onto the final challenge, melee kills. Just use your shield melee, one hit kill, easy done in no time.
Now head over to the hatchery and go to the basement. There is a large cylinder which you must place the egg in, and defend from zombies for a few seconds. During this step, at least one Valkyrie drone will spawn, it is very important you kill it near to the generator which is to the right of the incubator. This turns on the generator. I'll explain why you do this soon. After the egg has been defended you must wait 2 rounds, after which the gauntlet is yours! Simply head to your challenge grave stone and hold x on the bottom most challenge to obtain it.
One player must now head to the bunker where you build the shield, and use the gauntlet to melee a large safe at the back of the room, the trophy is inside. With all 6 trophies collected you can move onto the next step.

Step 2: The air pressure valves

Now I won't lie to you, I haven't the slightest idea what you do for this step, it is an incredibly difficult puzzle which I myself have no idea how to solve, don't worry though, I'll make it very easy for you to do, even if you don't exactly know what you're doing. Now, there are 6 pressure valve things around the map. They are difficult to describe but fairly obvious, you may have, like me, already seen one and thought it looked out of place. They are located at:
-The tank factory on the wall across from where the dragon breathes fire.
-Underneath the infirmary by some bunk beds.
-Dragon command, top of the stairs head right.
-The top of armoury, by where the elevator is purchased
-bottom floor of supply depot
-Department store, back of the third floor.

Now, because you killed the Valkyrie drone earlier to power on the generator, you only have a few minutes to do this before it shuts down. If it does shut down, simply head back to the generator and hold x (you may need to start a new round) to start it again. Now you are looking for 2 special pressure valves, which change every game.
1. The light on the top of the main console is green.
2. There is a difficult to see code cylinder inside the tube of one of them.

Now find the locations of these two items and remember where they are.

Now at this point you can try figuring out how to solve this puzzle, or use this program I found:

http://www.gorodkrovi.com/

Please note, I take no responsibility for making that webpage. I don't know who did it but all credit goes to them.

To use it place the location of the green light where it says start valve, and the code cylinder where it says end valve. Easy as that. It will automatically figure out what each valve needs to be set to. So follow what it says. If you did it correctly the code cylinder will be revealed where you first saw it, and you can grab it to move onto the next step.

Step 3: Enter the password

Very easy, head over to Sophia (the giant robot head to the right of the power switch) and hold x to place the code cylinder to the left of the main console. Now you must shoot the individual spinning cylinders so that going top to bottom it spells KRONOS. I don't know why that's what it's supposed to be, but it is (incredible reference maybe?) now confirm the password and you can move on.

Step 4: Challenges

This part makes up the bulk of the Easter egg. Those 6 trophies you collected earlier correspond to a different challenge you must complete, some of them are not too bad, some are damn near impossible, and you have to do all 6. Basically, the large map adjacent to Sophia has all the trophies below it, you must hold x here for it to randomly pick one. Now this is where a large number of dead man waking gobble gums are almost a necessity, they make these much easier, as all the zombies on the map walk as if they were on round 1 for 4 minutes, making these challenges much easier. I'll go over every challenge in detail.

Challenge 1: Russian mangler.

This trophy looks like a mangler. Once active, a friendly one will spawn somewhere in the map, for me it was either in tank factory, department store or supply depot. Your job is to find him and escort him back to the challenge screen. This challenge is decently easy, especially if dead man walking is active. The mangler will take damage from both zombies and you shooting him, so make sure you kill any zombies around him, and go easy on the explosives. Edit: thanks to @TrueHelp for pointing out that the mangler won’t actually take damage from zombies, only from your guns/ grenades. He will walk directly to dragon command, unless you get too far away from him, in which case he will go back the way he came. He periodically fires his laser canon thing, which can still damage you, so be careful, if he takes enough damage, he will begin to sprint, which is good because it means he gets there faster, but bad because he has less health. So get him to a little pad to the right of the challenge trophies and you're done that challenge.

Challenge 2: Grauph module.

This one is very difficult without undead man walking. The trophy looks like a drop pod same as you would use to get the pieces for calling the dragon. With this challenge, a grauph module will spawn outside of the map at either the dragon command, tank factory or supply depot, all visible from where you ride the dragon it the respective area. This is simple, defend the drop pod. A horde of zombies will spawn outside of the map and head towards it, this is why undead man walking is very helpful, as it slows them down giving you more time to shoot them. Don't go shy on your dragon strikes, it's pretty self explanatory, just don't let them get near the thing. While this is going on, zombies will not spawn in map, so you don't have to worry about watching your back, I recommend all players be focused on defending. Once it is complete, all the zombies will be killed, and you must throw your baby dragon using the gauntlet to retrieve whatever it is you were defending, challenge done.

Challenge 3: Valkyrie drone

This one is very difficult, and undead man walking is important to have. It is actually exactly the same as the mangler challenge, only this time you are defending a Valkyrie drone. It will spawn in spawn and very slowly make its way to the dragon command. The difference here is this has an incredibly low amount of health, one or two hits from zombies or you shooting it and it dies, forcing you to start over next round. Because you can damage it, you can only really use bullet weapons, as a wonder weapon will likely blow it up by accident. I personally was not able to do this without undead man walking active because it is likely a high round and the zombies swarm is fast, once it reaches the trophies, challenge done.

Challenge 4: Gersh soul

This one isn't super hard, but it does require you have upgraded weapons. The trophy looks like a blob, 'nuff said. For this challenge, a glowing yellow whisp like thing (I guess it's the soul of Gersh or something???) will spawn somewhere on the map. Your objective is to shoot it with an upgraded weapon, which will cause it to zoom off somewhere, you must keep following it, shooting it as soon as you see it. That's really it. It moves very fast so it can be difficult to figure out where it went. To fail, you must have not shot it for a long period of time. It's quite difficult to fail. Eventually the whips reaches the trophies and you're done.

Challenge 5: The stupid bomb step

This challenge is easily the hardest one, and what's annoying is you need to be prepared for it every time you start a new challenge, so before pushing the button everyone should be in position anticipating this challenge, and moving if it is isn't it. Basically, there are 6 bombs around the map, and they need to be defused in a specific order. The challenge is, you have very very little time to do this, maybe 30 seconds, and if you don't defuse all the bombs in time, they explode downing anyone nearby. What's worse, if you accidentally defuse a bomb out of order, it also explodes, downing the person who defused it. Now, the locations of the 6 bombs are:
-At The back of the bottom floor of the department store
-In the infirmary, after coming up the stairs from the bunker it is on the back side of the pedestal to your left.
- Top floor of the tank factory, by the gobble gum machine
-Entering the supply depot on the right entrance, bear right and you'll see it to your left when you reach a wall.
-Bottom floor of the armoury, to the left of the wonderfizz machine
-Top of dragon command, bear left, you'll run right into it.

Now, I'm going to explain how to do this with 4 players. It should be noted that the fewer players you have, the more time you have. Solo, this is actually quite easy because you have 3 odd minutes to complete it, which is more than enough time.
So, each person has a different role.
Person 1: Is looking at the map in dragon command above the trophies, and is responsible for the dragon command bomb.
Person 2: Is responsible for both the infirmary bomb and the tank station bomb.
Person 3: responsible for both the armoury bomb and the supply depot bomb.
Person 4: responsible only for the department store bomb.

Again, make sure everyone is waiting near their respective bombs every time you start a new challenge, you have very little time to do this and can't afford to have to run across the map to your bombs. If this challenge is selected (trophy looks like a nuke power up) then the person watching the map needs to pay close attention to the map. Areas of the map will light up in sequence indicating the order to defuse in. It will flash the order once very fast, almost impossible to see, and then one more time slower, and that's it. The person watching the screen must relay this info to everyone else and direct them in what order to defuse, making sure to defuse his/ her own bomb in the process. This player has a very difficult job, as if they mess up it can down their teammates. I was the one doing this when I did the Easter egg, and I found it to be easiest to just film the sequence with your phone, as it is quite difficult to remember the order. Thanks again to PhilTheStampede for suggesting that the person watching the screen write down abbreviations on a piece of paper as they go. As well, it may be worth a trial run where you don't trigger any bombs, and get the hang of it, because remember messing up could cost someone all their perks. Beyond that, trigger the bombs in the given order and you will have completed the challenge, congrats that one sucks.

Challenge 6: group 935

This trophy looks like the group 935 logo. I am not certain, but from my experience this is always the last challenge you get. When this challenge appears, a key card will be given to you from the trophy machine, pick it up and have all players head to the hatchery. On the second floor, in the bottom right corner there is a little computer with a red screen, the player with the keycard needs to hold x on this. All zombies will die and you'll see a download progress bar on your screen. At this point, it is effectively the same thing as getting the dragon strike, but now only manglers spawn. Some very powerful weaponry is definitely required for this, the ray gun mark three being a necessity as you will be constantly swarmed by tons of manglers. As before you get a free max ammo. As long as someone has the mark 3, and everyone has powerful upgraded guns and lots of perks, this isn't that hard. Once the download is complete he'd back to where you placed the keycard (note that zombies spawn in right away, so be fast about it as it is easy to get trapped).

Insert the keycard into Sophia, and YAY! You finished all the challenges. Take the power core out of Sophia and head to spawn. Release your dragon and it will fly over to Nikolai with the power core, now all that's left is a little boss fight...

Step 5: Boss fight

And now time for the boss fight! The other boss fights in this game are nothing compared to this. It is incredibly challenging. As such, all players should have lots of perks, a full shield, and powerful weapons. As well everyone should have a gobblegum, I personally like after taste, but it's up to you. Someone with the nx shadow claw upgraded can help to, as they can revive some by simply shooting them.

Once you're all geared up, all players must stand on the grate in front of Sophia, dropping them into the sewers which take you to the boss fight, press a button in the very centre of the area to initiate the boss fight. Note that you are given 2 max ammos for the entirety of this boss fight, so do not grab them unless you need to, as you will burn through a lot of ammo and want every bit you can get.

Now this fight consists of actually 2 enemies. To start, you fight the dragon that has been harassing you this whole time. Zombies and Russian manglers spawn a lot, so keep moving. The dragon will occasionally light the entire area on fire, leaving safe points in the corners, it can be dangerous staying in the corners, as there isn't much room and you could get swarmed. Don't be afraid to equip your shield and run into the fire, you take no fire damage. To kill the dragon, you must shoot him in these areas which periodically glow orange, located on his chest, left wing and neck. The areas are very small, and I recommend an upgraded LMG so you can keep fire on him without needing to reload. Once you do enough damage, the dragon will fly to a different area, prompting Nikolai 1.0 to shoot it with his harpoon, creating a new glowing area. Keep this up until you finally kill the dragon. This first boss battle isn't too bad, it's not that easy, but the dragon's attacks are decently easy to avoid. To key is to ignore the manglers and zombies as they don't stop spawning and focus all fire on the dragon.

Once the dragon is dead, a cutscenes will play, followed by a second boss battle, this time against Nikolai 1.0. This is a much harder boss battle, as Nikolai has many highly damaging attacks, in addition to the multitude of zombies. Nikolai will occasionally release RAPS (basically the meat balls from shadows of evil) as well as shoot his electric harpoon at you which stuns and slows you down (among other attacks he has) to damage him, you must aim for the glowing yellow parts of his mech suit. These are, to start located on the left and right bottom corners of the cock pit glass (these two are always vulnerable) and two which occasionally pop up over his left and right shoulder. Once a target has taken enough damage it will break. Keep in mind, all of these targets must be destroyed before you move on to the next phase. Once all of these are gone a final target will appear underneath the cockpit window, which also must be shot. Once this is destroyed you have finished him. Some keys to this boss battle are, again, try to ignore the zombies as best you can, but kill his RAPS, as they are faster than you. Never stop moving and pay attention to when the targets appear so you get as much damage onto them as possible (they all take a lot of hits) be smart with your max ammos. When I did this, we barely finished before we were completely out of ammo, so make sure you do not grab the ammos early. Fighting Nikolai is quite difficult, but if you persevere and manage to take him out, you get a... strange... cutscene and this achievement, congrats! This Easter egg is very difficult, but it's totally doable if you use good gobblegums and have decent weaponry/ perks.

Good luck!!!

As I said before, my solution was just copied and pasted from the Playstation website for ease of access and was just put up until somebody wrote out their own. I've taken mine down.

I've never actually gotten around to it, but I was going to at least link a picture chart for the valve step. That made it super easy for me. I've had some issues where the program wasn't correct, although it may be fixed by now. Here is the image that I used and it worked every time:

https://i.redd.it/fnt79y2s7d9x.jpg

Another tip for the valves is to find the end point (where the little canister is) before you go to place the dragon egg in the Hatchery. When placing the egg in the Hatchery, you always get a Valkyrie to spawn and it will turn on the generator when you kill it fairly close to said generator. AS SOON AS YOU SEE THE GATE OPEN, dip out and get off to the valves. Split up if you are in co-op and call it out when you see the start point (you should already know the end point). Then simply use your preferred method and communicate which switches to flip. This will save time and rounds.

I would usually get to the Hatchery and get the air strike by like round 6 or 7, which isn't so bad. Some people suggest using the air strike for the egg challenges, which could save rounds and take about the same amount of time, which is totally fine. Either way, by the latest, you should be back in the Hatchery, placing the egg, and getting the valve step done by like round 9-11, then collecting the gauntlets by round 11-13, making everything super easy.

As for the bomb step, I think I'm retarded or something because I couldn't record it on my phone, watch it, relay the information, and avoid zombies within the time frame. We had to redo it that way a couple times before I decided it was a bull shit plan (because I'm too inept lol).

So what I did solo was obviously just pause the game after every single one and write it down. But, on co-op, I watched the screen and had my buddy there with me writing it down as I called it out. WE PRACTICED a couple times before actually doing it just to make sure we didn't fuck it up again. He decided to use a quick little acronym for each one to make it faster, too. For example: Dragon Command, Department Store, Infirmary, Supply Depot, Armory, Tank Factory would be DC, DS, I, S, A, T.

After we did it that way, we never failed once. Okay, that's a lie. We had a guy who thought Infirmary was Armory once. That sucked. But other than that, the bomb step became a hell of a lot easier.

Point maximization is the KEY! Don't spend a dime more than you have to in order to open doors and get prepared. Communicate on this and all the steps and it's not so bad. Watch some videos of the end fight to know the layout, too.

Hope this helps.

The Valkyrie Helmet is right across from Jug, but the Mangler Helmet is on the third floor of the Department Store. It's in the far left corner when facing the doorway to the Infirmary.

To get the Mangler Helmet, you need to shoot the gun arm off of the Mangler 5 times as well as the Helmet. This can be done on the same Mangler, so you only need 5 Manglers if you don't miss. It's easiest done on the lockdown part in the Hatchery.

The Dragon Wings are obtained from all players taking the dragon once from each platform. If you all go together, that should amount to 1500 total points and you will likely obtain this when you return to the Hatchery to pick up the egg for the final time.

As for the bombs, just doing a practice run of having a designated call-out person and a designated writer should be easy enough. But, like we've both stated, the video method could work better for someone who doesn't suck as bad as I did at it. lol

I would add some of the stuff you and I said into the guide, especially like a brief guide in the beginning for an outline of what to do in and by which round maybe? People generally don't read comments.

If you are struggling on Nikolai I did this two player with 2 specific gobblegums: Fear in Headlights (zombies become a non-factor for 2 minutes) and Fatal Corruption (the death-machine can own Nikolai if used properly).

With this strategy I camped in a bunker and sprayed until Nikolai was on top of us, this is the only time you should switch bunkers as long as you have Fear in Headlights on.

I do wonder if you're able to obtain the achievement if you reinstall the game without updating it. As far as I know, you can uninstall the game while keeping the DLC installed. I imagine you have to download the game from a disc as the updates will probably be included in the digital version.

I'm with you FoxHound22, I purchased Gorod Krovi after the patch that broke it (not knowing about it at the time). I complained about it to Activision support on twitter a couple of days ago, response I got:

"Hello there *****, sorry for the inconvenience. Support is generally prioritized towards the newer Title, however updates for previous Titles may still become available. Hang in there and keep an eye out for announcements from TreyArch. ^LC".

I don't have much hope for them to fix it anymore.

By RebornPasture on 06 Nov 2018 19:53
@RebornPasture I think the solution here might be to just make as much of a public fuss about it as possible. Tweet at treyarch publicly and at a bunch of popular zombies youtubers, if we twist their arm enough they will be forced to look into a fix (which honestly shouldn't be too difficult considering it used to work).

0
0
By INSTINCT H410 on 11 Nov 2018 10:38
@INSTINCT H410 the achievement worked when the map out. A patch for the game in June of 2018 broke the achievement (on all platforms), so anybody who did the Easter egg before the patch broke it will have gotten the achievement. At this point it is unobtainable, which sucks because black ops 4 is a broken mess at the moment and it seems like Treyarch is focused on primarily fixing that before they do anything to this. So I cannot honestly say if it will ever be fixed.

You might be able to do this solo if you uninstall the game and then reinstall it with the disc version. This deletes the patches and updates and if you do it and get back to spawn after the boss fight. You then download the updates and you should get the achievement. I did this with the master chief collection and got some unobtainable achievements.

By Vengence38 on 26 Nov 2018 20:57
JR1203 might be right, I don’t think you would be able to play the DLC, the issue is I think the DLC’s are usually patched into the game and purchasing the DLC just gives you access to them. Also COD typically has day 1 patches which contain most of the necessary stuff to get the game working, so running off just the disc I seriously doubt you could do much of anything, it’s worth a try though.

@Xx sunkevin xX it could be a long time, considering black ops 4 is out, they seem to be only concerned with working on that. I honestly wouldn’t get your hopes up for this being fixed anytime soon, Treyarch just doesn’t care if the game is no longer earning them as much money.

It does not work if you re-install a physical copy of the game and play it offline, since it is dlc it will need a update for when that dlc came out since it can't recognize the dlc and you will only be able to play the first map that came with the game sadly.

By Mild Gonolini on 15 Feb 2019 19:54
@Quiet as far as I know, yes. This is the only Easter egg I’ve ever seen that can not be completed in COD. I honestly can’t even think of a single achievement in any game that was accidentally made unobtainable with a patch post launch. Usually when this happens it’s because the multiplayer servers shut down, so any achievements that require online are unobtainable, but this is insane. The fact that before the patch it worked fine means it must be a very simple fix, but treyarch refuses to even address it. I hold on to hope that one day they’ll fix this, but it seems to be increasingly unlikely.

I talked to support again recently. The guy explained that there was no ETA on a fix and he was not sure if it would ever get fixed or not. But he also said that they have gotten many inquires about this crashing bug. So it sounds like there is no communication on this issue between support staff and treyarch.

I've personally had luck getting an account unbanned in Madden utilizing the BBB. I know myself and at least one other person are going that route at this point, and I would encourage everyone else to do the same. They get 50 or 100 cases for the same issue and they'll likely fix this garbage. Especially after reading this article:

I filed a complaint with the BBB. It may be a long shot but if everyone seeking this fix files a complaint, we have some traction. It takes less than 5 minutes to file the complaint.

I agree with you Mild Gonolini. It’s disgusting that we have to go this route. If it took micro transaction money from them they would patch it quickly. Aside from the achievement it’s kind of shitty because you can get the good starting pistol by completing all the Easter Eggs.

By InigoMontoya80 on 12 Jul 2019 00:38
@ChrisD0811 it’s sad that we would even need to contact BBB when it should be standard that a dev fix a broken achievement. Especially in this case, the map worked when it came out, they did something with an update to break it, that means they can (probably fairly easily) figure out what the bug is and fix it. If this was like an exploit or something that people could abuse for high rounds, it would be patched within weeks, but since all this does is make the Easter egg achievement unobtainable, they really don’t care much at all. 13 odd months+ to patch any bug for a AAA game is obscene, I’ve accepted that they won’t patch it unless someone like BBB twists their arm.

Just filed one. if others are going to file one too, I think it'd be a good idea to mention that this was not a problem when you first got the DLC but only some time after you already paid for it. It emphasizes that not only does the content not work as intended, but that you actually had it taken after payment.
0
0
By Dingus Nooblet on 15 Jul 2019 06:17
I did emphasize that point in my complaint. I definitely recommend stating this as well. I also mentioned in my complaint that it was not just achievement related but it breaks the entire game by not being able to complete the final easter egg without the gateworm reward received from this DLC. It also precludes gamers from receiving the upgraded starter pistol by completing all the easter eggs.

By ChrisD0811 on 23 Jul 2019 17:30
Just checked my email and I got mine too. “This business has until Aug 16th to respond to your complaint.”

Hopefully by “respond” it just means fix the damn thing.

What does this really mean though? What happens if activision doesn’t respond by the 16th?
0
0
By Dingus Nooblet on 24 Jul 2019 17:32
I'm fairly certain we as the reporters have to agree that their response is acceptable prior to agreeing to close the case as a favorable resolution. I personally will accept nothing short of an actual patch release. If you do not close it favorably they get a hit on their BBB rating. Which is a huge deal (especially with so many of us).
0

By ChrisD0811 on 24 Jul 2019 18:27
Thanks for all the support and everyone filing those complaints. This is not a guarantee that it will work but we at least have an agency that is voicing concerns to them rather than them sweeping posts on twitter, forums and their own internal department under the rug. If only 1% of the people that started the game on TA would file a complaint there eyes would really be opened shock.

Keep up the good fight and the more we get their attention the more likely they will fix it.

Remember "they can't stop all of us", strength in numbers team!

That's a great idea Luuc. I will look into doing that (admittedly I do not use reddit laugh). The BBB in the US is the Better Business Bureau. They are essentially watchdogs for consumers. The more complaints that come to them it damages the companies image. It could potentially turn to legal issues if the problem is big enough.

Hey guys, so I sent a complaint as well, and got a response today. Unfortunately they called my cell phone number, and not knowing any better from a cell number from California (I live in Canada), thought it was a telemarketer. They replied to me back on the BBB page saying they tried calling me, and saying that they will get back to me another day. So fingers crossed they email me or they give me another call back. I might try calling the number tomorrow and seeing where it puts me through wether it’s a personal number or a generic call center. I guess we’ll wait and see. If you guys see a 310343 number, it’s Activision replying.

Edit: Holy fuck guys /r/CODZombies is going nuts right now!!!

A huge thanks to everyone in this thread that helped out. Without the numbers this may not have been possible. Especially the people that took the time that have already earned the achievement to help those of us that do not have it. toast

Seems pretty official now.

Hey if anyone wants to start playing Gorod today and get ready for the patch send me a message on Xbox.

When the BBB said they have until the end of the month to respond, I didn’t think we’d be getting a patch THIS SOON!

Hey guys the update is Live on all consoles now, 33 mb download. Thank you to everyone that made this possible, special thanks to Luuc who made the idea of complaining to the BBB and riling everyone up on /r/CODZombies. Also thanks to Mild Gonolini for constantly updating this thread. Thanks to everyone else who kept keeping this issue alive, the constant threads on reddit and twitter, all the BBB complaints. Companies will always try to screw us when they can, but this has shown anything is possible with strength in numbers.

Now to Storm Area 51 👽

and complete Gorod......

@Avenge el Chapo I’m not gonna relax just yet, I’ll wait until I see that people are actually unlocking the achievement, as of writing this nobody in the recent winners thing on TA has the ach since it was broken, so I’d encourage people to start going for this ASAP so we know whether it is actually fixed.

36.9 MB update, we did it. I assume the achievement will be unlocking fine. As of writing this message there is nobody that unlocked the achievement after the patch went live.

Yeah it is version 1.33 which is the same as the PC version that fixed this bug, I’m going to attempt it tonight after work, but it seems people on the zombies reddit are doing it now, everything looks to be in place finally.

Update guys just finished it, I’m up on the website now. Funny enough my entire game crashed to the dashboard during the Valkyrie step. I got back in the game though, finished the Easter egg saw the cutscene, got the achievement and Gateworm.

Goes to show this is still a buggy map, but the achievement is now obtainable again. Happy Hunting.

That's so interesting that it worked.
Was this like the first proper time when lawsuit thing worked for a glitched achievement?
Does this give bases to other discontinued achievements with similar occurences; or for any unobtainable for that matter?

This would probably work for other achievements that are broken along with the content in the game. I don’t think anything would happen for achievements that are simply discontinued such as servers shutting down.

Just completed the boss fight, but nothing popped for me. My second player got the cheevo right in the middle of the cutscene. I turned the game off and on, went to the official club...nothing. I have credit for the gate worm on the level select, but no Love and War. I’m so not ready to go through this all again.

So it finally popped for me while I was playing Revelations, 5 days later. I’d love to say I was doing something special, but I was in the middle of reviving my friend when it popped. No idea.

Thanks PhilTheStampede, good tips. For the bomb step, I had tried writing it all down but I couldn't do it fast enough, and I was able to do it decent enough using my phone, but try multiple methods and people watching the map, it is a very tricky step that's for sure. I had left out the importance of doing everything at once, which is definitely key to completing this, you need to make sure everything that can be done is done before you start the next round. I personally found doing the lockdown at the hatchery no problem during our first trip over there, you don't need to have super powerful guns to complete it, and even if you think your team is unprepared, try it as soon as you get to the hatchery, if you die, its no big deal because it will only be round 5 or 6.

Something else I left out which is very beneficial is the usage of dragon wings/ helmets. There are, to my knowledge, 3 of these wearable buffs you can obtain, but only 1 can be worn per player at a time.
The dragon wings are obtained by riding the dragon a certain number of times, which you should easily get throughout the course of this easter egg, they spawn on a mannequin in department store (back of the second floor, facing the wall. With these equipped you can travel to the hatchery for free and instantly, which is very beneficial as you will need to go there often, and saving the 500 points every time can add up.

The other two are mangler and valkyrie helmets. They are obtained by killing a certain number of each of their respective enemy types. They are also found in the department store, I believe both are near to jug. They reduce the damage taken by the respective enemy quite substantially (and I believe you do more damage to them as well). The mangler helmet is very beneficial for the final challenge, as many manglers spawn. However, it is unlikely it will be obtained before this challenge, as you need to kill quite a few manglers, you will almost certainly have it once the challenge is finished.
The mangler helmet is quite useful for the boss fight, and since you will have likely unlocked it without even realizing it before hand, make sure you grab it prior to starting.

Just did the EE solo. As soon as the Nikolai’s in the final cutscene shot each other, the game went black and made a weird noise. After like 10 seconds of that, it dashboarded. No Achievement.

Luckily, I kept the gobblegums that I had used.

Origins in BO2 still has glitches with the staff parts, making the EE and staff related achievements frustrating. That being how things are, I’m not getting my hopes up about Treyarch fixing this anytime soon either.

Just to let you know after 3 years I spotted something inaccurate with your guide the part with the challenges the mangler. You said it takes damage from zombies. That is not true it can only take damage from you or your widows wines/electric cherry.

I asked Support about this again today. I was told "It was under investigation."

This is only a bug that causes the game to crash, and it didn't happen prior to a certain update. They wouldn't even necessarily have to prevent the crash, just make it so that the achievement and gate worm are unlocked the moment the boss's HP is 0.

There's no way they've been investigating this for 8 months. Nothing is being done about it currently. We might get it when BO4 sales start to die down but it may never happen.

Activision Support is always telling people that Treyarch are 'looking into it'.
They have beens saying that since the broken patch rolled out (June 2018), it's just a big joke.
It's to obvious Treyarch doesn't care which is resulting in no patches at this date.
Treyarch can go screw themselves with their lack of community feedback. I've seen over 100+ threads on reddit/r/CODZombies/ where people are complaining about this issue and it's still not fixed. There isn't even a statement from Treyarch or any of the devs that they are aware of the issue and looking into it in (near) future? It's just Activision Support telling each and every time that there is being looked into it. Even yesterday a big YT-guy tweeted again to bring it back under the attention:
https://twitter.com/MrRoflWaffles/status/1097989261956136961
I would call it a miracle if this ever get's fixed, I wouldn't count on it.

This achievement is still glitched, I have literally just completed the main EE with some friends 5 minutes ago. You watch the cutscene of Nikolai killing another version of himself, then instead of returning you to the game to hear Dr. Monty's speech the game goes to a black screen and crashes. I knew this was glitched but my friends wanted to try it out anyway as they don't have the achievement and they want rk5 starting pistol (luckily I already have it from when I did it way back during the game's life cycle). This is a REALLY bad glitch and frankly it just ruins the game, I don't know why it's been a problem for so long when the map was fine for several months after initial launch back in 2016. Anyone that didn't complete this EE already misses out on 100% completion of the game and rk5 as a starting pistol, which is a huge advantage for the earlier rounds. If I hadn't already done this I would be missing out on getting 100% completion for a game I have over 1500 hours on, not happy at all. FIX THIS 3ARC

Completed the Easter Egg tonight with 2 other people. One guy already had the achievement and me and the other guy did not. His popped during the cut scene and mine didn't. I exited the game normally and then quit the game to see if that would pop the cheevo, no luck.

What made the cheevo pop 10 minutes later: Started the game up, pressed the xbox button and scrolled to achievements (hit LB a couple times) and selected the "Love and War achievement" and selected "Go to official club" and it popped!

Hope this helps anyone who has this issue as well!

As a Dutchman I never heard about the BBB and I don't know what they can possibly accomplish. But it looks promising. Activision and Treyarch are both ignoring the fact that the Easter Egg has been broken for over a year right now, they never even stated anything about it. I've seen tons of threads on the /r/CODZombies/ reddit about the Gorod Krovi crash over the last year and I'm sure Treyarch and/or Activision definitely have people scanning the threads out there since it's such a huge community. They just don't want to step into it because it probably cost them money to release a fixing patch. Hopefully this move will bring us justice. Yesterday there was a big rumour going on the zombie community that Treyarch fired their main zombie developer; Jason Blundell, it seemed to be false rumours and Treyarch made a post about it that it was all false information. So yea, that pretty much confirms that they are definitely checking the reddit threads. Maybe one of can try to post a thread on the zombie reddit so we can all upvote it. I'm sure if this will get attention on reddit more people will start filling in the BBB complaints.

It's funny that this thread got so much attention, that probably made Treyarch responding to this issue.

Has anyone ever played around with the cutscene like putting your console offline after doing the Easter egg or turning off the system to do some trickery? I know on the 360, if you just opened the guide while the Achievement popped, it would pop some more. As of right now, I’m working on DE and ZNS, and later GK. Maybe one day some guy or gal will find a glitch to get the achievement. Otherwise we are fooked.

So ideally if you got the game on an old hard drive and didn't connect it to the internet, that could work?

Is it possible to torrent an xbox game? Just trying to look at all the options at this point. I wouldn't feel bad about torrenting a game if I've already paid for it

@Sitop Apen I really don’t think that would work unfortunately. Gorod Krovi is a DLC so you would need to connect to the Internet to download it anyway, I really don’t know if you’re able to get the map downloaded without updating to the latest version.

By Mild Gonolini on 22 May 2019 08:16
@sitop apen yes exactly, it has to be a very specific version 1.26 to be exact, if some were to have this version, they could play the map as long as they don’t connect to the internet. If the map isn’t installed they could simply transfer the map through hardrives and get the achievement unlocked offline. Once they connect to the internet than ta da. But finding a hardrive with that specific version of the game will be troublesome to say the least.

I got a slightly "good" update. A zombie youtuber Radaustin27 asked Treyarch about Gorod Krovi in a youtube event and they explained why it's taking so long to fix BUT he couldn't tell us why because of a NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). Them giving a reason to zombie youtubers why it is taking so long and not just saying they won't fix it is a bit more hopeful, but then again they could just be trying to avoid it.

Requirement: Near Death Experience
The hardest part of this Easter Egg is the boss fight, if you're like me you'll easily get to the boss fight in an hour and a half but will struggle with multiple attempts. If you play solo and use the Near Death Experience goggle gum you will have unlimited deaths during the boss fight. The rounds do not progress when you make it to the boss fight. As long as you use your ammo wisely you will be fine, I never grabbed either of the two max ammo power-ups in the center because ammo really isn't a problem. Playing on solo also makes it extremely easy as you can pause whenever you feel like it to help with certain steps. I had spent 10+ tries with a group almost always making it to the boss fight but with Near Death Experience I got this achievement on my first try.

Tip: Mangler Trophy: Shoot off the mangler's arm, he will become enraged and he will sprint at you. This makes him easy to transport and hard to lose.

Warning: Make sure you're close to the boss fight before grabbing Near Death Experience, the gobble gum last's for 3 rounds plus the round you are currently on. It is beneficial to use this with the trophy steps but if you screw up the trophy step you will have to wait for at least one round to pass. Two if the round consists of valkyries as you can not start the trophy process during this round.

If you have any questions feel free to pm me on either Xbox or on TrueAchievements. Good luck with this achievement, it is definitely the hardest Black Ops III Easter Egg out there.

Best advice ever. :) I didnt know that for a long time, because I hadnt played for quite a while.

Using this gum, I was able to do this EE Solo yesterday after many attempts. The hardest part for me was escorting the Mangler. But patience is key here and I am so glad this is done.

you must excel at this game. Ive done all other easter eggs on black ops games but getting past the challenges solo is for me near impossible...I can get to the challenges by round 11 but always fail on the 2nd or 3rd challenge due to the rounds continuing …
great advice about near death experience...shame I never knew this until now as only got this egg left to do...if I ever get to the boss fight

Here's a complete, very In-Depth guide to get this trophy (Completing the Easter Egg in Gorod Krovi)

3
0

16 Jul 2016 18:32

This guide is for Love and War which requires you to complete the main easter egg quest and finish the boss battle in the map Gorod Krovi

Activate Power
The power switch is in the Dragon Control. Once power is activated, press the green button in front of S.O.P.H.I.A.

Collect Dragon Control Modules
Collect code cylinders dropped from zombies. Once all 3 parts are collected, bring them to the machine near the shield workbench.

Note: My personal method at this point is to fly to the Hatchery and obtain the Dragon Egg. I would then drop into the sewer (remembering to shoot the light for the Hatchery trophy) and then begin the Gauntlet of Siegfried steps. Once you are on the final step requiring you to incubate the egg in the machine, a Valkyrie will appear allowing you to easily complete the next step.

Activate the generator in the bottom floor of the Hatchery
(next to the machine in the middle) by killing a Valkyrie Drone very close to it.

Complete the Valve step
There are 6 valves throughout the map, 4 of them have blue lights, 1 of them has a green light and one of them has a purple code cylinder stuck in it.
Go to Kronorium.com and enter which area of the map has the green light and which area has the purple code cylinder. This will let you know what number to set each of the valves to.
Note: The website is mobile friendly.

[b/]Obtain the 'Gauntlet of Siegfried

Put the master cylinder in S.O.P.H.I.A.
then put the password KRONOS in S.O.P.H.I.A. by shooting the cylinder and then confirm it by pressing cn_S on the green button.

Obtain all six trophies - this step can be completed throughout the game but have to be completed before the following steps to continue

- Shoot the trophy in the hand of the statue which can be seen when you Dragon Command/Power
- Use the Gigant Laser Beam in the Supply Depot to reveal a trophy hidden inside the floor
- Use the Shield's 'Fire' attack on a pipe just outside the Double Tap room to the right. A trophy will appear next to double tap
- Use the 'Dragon Strikes' on a circular puddle below the Speed Cola machine
- When exiting the Hatchery through the sewers, look up and shoot a red glowing orb - You can then return to the Hatchery and find a trophy in a statue opposite Pack-A-Punch
- Obtain the 'Gauntlet of Siegfried' and open the vault (which looks just like the one from Der Eisendrache) by 115 punching into it, found in the operations bunker

Complete S.O.P.H.I.A.'s Tasks
I'd say that this part is the hardest section of the easter egg. You are required to complete 6 tasks that align with the 6 trophies you collected earlier. The order of the tasks are randomized except for the lockdown step in the Hatchery.

-Escort Mangler
A Mangler will spawn at in a random location around the map - it has green eyes - you must simply walk near it, and it will walk to the teleporter pad in Dragon Control/Power. You must also not shoot or kill this Mangler. However if you have a non pack a punched gun and shoot off the Mangler's arm carefully, he will run at you instead of walking.
All players must be with it, or it will run away to the other players. You must also guide it the whole way, if you lose it for even a second, you could fail the challenge.

-Escort Valkyrie
A broken Valkyrie Drone will spawn at Belinski Square/Spawn - it has no arms and green eyes - you must simply walk near it and it will move very slowly to the teleporter pad in Dragon Control/Power. I highly recommend Undead Man Walking Gobble Gum. It makes this step incredibly easy.

-Find Groph Orb
Gersch will spawn as a yellow orb somewhere around the map. You simply have to continue to locate him and shoot him. After about three audio quotes he will agree to work with you and go to S.O.P.H.I.A.
Gersch can go to almost any point on the map (he does not go to the Hatchery) so you will have to stay on your feet to find him.

-Protect Pod
A Gersch Module - exactly like the ones used to get all of the Dragon Network Controller parts - will spawn outside of the map. It can be seen in the map at Dragon Control/Power or by looking at the beam it emits.
You must protect it by shooting any and all Zombies running towards it - no Zombies will spawn inside of the map while this task is active - and once it is complete, use the Welp on your Special Weapon to achieve the power core and take it to S.O.P.H.I.A.
You do not have much time to release the Welp to collect it, so release it very quickly.

-Defuse Bombs
There are six bombs located around the map (Dragon Control/Power, Armory, Supply Depot, Infirmary, Tank Factory & Department store). On the screen where the trophies are, each area will flash in a specific order; the player must defuse the bombs in that order in a very short time of 3 minutes.
The best way to do this solo is to watch the order flash on screen, pause the game, and then write down the order on a piece of paper.
If any of the bombs are pressed in the wrong order or it is not completed in time you will be downed.

-Lockdown Module
This will always be the final step.
You must go to the Hatchery, locate the computer on the middle floor and all players must press the activate button on it which will trigger the Information Download.
You must now fight off against waves off Manglers until the download is complete. The best strategy is to get the MK3 and camp on the top floor where nothing spawns and use the combined shots. If they get too close, use your shield against them!
Once this downloading task is complete, go back to the computer where you started it, take the key card and put it inside of S.O.P.H.I.A. then continue with steps

Second Last Step
Now take the power core, go to spawn and use your Special Weapon special ability (The Dragon) which will take the power core over to Nikolai

Return to S.O.P.H.I.A. and she will eventually fly away, revealing a sewer gate which will take the players to the Boss Fights Area! You must stand on it to continue.

There are 2 Boss Fight's, lots of Zombies, Manglers & Valkyries so be prepared!

The Boss Battle won't begin immediately; you will need to press the button in the centre to activate Nikolai which begins in the boss battle

Once you defeat the Dragon & Nikolai Boss Fights, you will see the end cutscene and will be returned to spawn after it ends. You have completed the Gorod Krovi Main Easter Egg.

This trophy is for completing the Easter Egg of this map. The steps are actually fairly simplistic in nature but quite difficult to do. All players in the game will get the trophy when the EE is complete.

*Glitch Warning! On June 11th, 2018, the Love And War trophy became unobtainable. As of August 15, 2019, a patch released to fix the trophy.*

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Turn on the Power, build the Shield and ride the dragon.

This is the part of the setup for the EE. See Taking Flight for getting the dragon and Blown Away for getting the Shield.

Step 2: Obtain the Gauntlet of Siegfried and Dragon Strike.

You will need these to get some objects that are necessary for starting the EE process. See Wield a Fist of Iron and Not One Inch for how to obtain these.

Step 3: Find the 6 Objects.

There are 6 objects you need to find that look like little trophies with icons on them. You can start this step when you first start up the map, but 2 items require the weapons from Step 2.

  • Gersh Orb – At Dragon Command, face towards the spawn and you will see a mural of 3 people on the wall. On the rightmost person you will see the object in their hand, simply shoot it with any gun and it will fall for you to pick up.
  • Mangler Soldier – In the Supply Depot, activate the Gigant Beam. When it's done, look underneath where the beam was. You will see a safe that is open with the object inside.
  • Valkyrie Drone – Head to the Tank Factory and equip your Shield. Stand by Double Tap and fire the Shield blast at the window (or stand at the bottom and fire at the pipe under Double Tap). The object will fall and land next to Double Tap.
  • 935 Logo (looks like a cog) – Head to the Hatchery. Take the sewer exit and while swimming you will see a red light along the top of one of the pipes. Shoot at it with any gun and if you hit it, it will turn green. Now head back to the Hatchery via the dragon. On the opposite end of the first floor (across from Pack a Punch) you will see a toilet shooting poop everywhere, the object is in the toilet.
  • Nuke – Requires Dragon Strike. Head to the outer area connecting the Armoury with the Supply Depot. In the corner underneath the bus and balcony is a puddle of water, aim the Dragon Strike there and the object will appear at the surface as soon as the blasts end.
  • Supply Pod – Requires the Gauntlet of Siegfried. Head to the underground bunker, and go to the safe to the left of the workbench. Equip the Gauntlet with + , then pres to send the dragon in the air. While the dragon is airborne, press to melee the safe and it will open, revealing the object.

Step 4: Complete the Pipe challenge.

This step can be started on any round that you manage to get a Valkyrie drone to spawn.

Once a drone has spawned in, you need to kill it in the basement of the Hatchery nest to the generator (it's located in the right side of the basement, near where you put the egg in to incubate). The generator will then turn on, and every round it must be re-activated with if you fail the puzzle. This is a fairly annoying puzzle to solve, as it's based on a lot of trial and error and some luck.

There are 6 pressure valves around the map, and 1 of them will be the colour green, and the others will either be blue, or they will be off. Also 1 of the pipes will contain a purple cylinder. The goal is to get 1 green switch and the other 5 switches blue, which will in turn unlock the cylinder so you can grab it.

The locations are as follows:

  • Tank Factory – Lower floor in the open square area.
  • Infirmary – On the middle floor, behind a set of beds.
  • Dragon Control – Top floor on the right.
  • Armoury – Up top near the bridge.
  • Supply Depot - First floor near the bookcases.
  • Department Store. Top floor, by the stairs leading down.

The way the puzzle works is when you switch a dial at 1 location, it will transfer the air flow towards another switch at another location. The goal is to start at the green switch and move the air flow through all the other areas until you reach the one with the cylinder.

All the pipes have a specific area to move the air flow, and the list below will tell you where each switch leads to:

Tank Factory 1 - Infirmary
Tank Factory 2 - Supply Depot
Tank Factory 3 - Armoury

Armoury 1 - Supply Depot
Armoury 2 - Tank Factory
Armoury 3 - Department Store

Department Store 1 - Armoury
Department Store 2 - Infirmary
Department Store 3 - Dragon Control

Dragon Control 1 - Supply Depot
Dragon Control 2 - Department Store
Dragon Control 3 - Infirmary

Infirmary 1 - Department Store
Infirmary 2 - Tank Factory
Infirmary 3 - Dragon Control

Supply Depot 1 - Dragon Control
Supply Depot 2 - Armoury
Supply Depot 3 - Tank Factory

For example; If the Tank Factory has the green switch and the Armoury has the cylinder, change the switches at the following locations:

  • Tank 1 -> Infirmary
  • Infirmary 1 -> Department Store
  • Department Store 3 -> Dragon Control
  • Dragon Control 1 -> Supply Depot
  • Supply Depot 2 -> Armoury

This would route the air flow through all 6 areas, ending at the Armoury where the cylinder is. There are many possible routes you can make yourself and as long as they all go through each area and end at the cylinder, you will be fine!

If you don't want to figure it out yourself, DISCOKING has made a very useful guide here: LINK detailing a solution for every configuration you may get. Just note that there are multiple ways to solve each one so if you figure out a different way to solve each puzzle than what's listed, then it will also work.

Once the switches are on correctly, the valves will become inoperable and you can grab the cylinder. If the system turns off before you can do all the switches, just play another round and activate the generator again.

Step 5: Start up Sophia and type the password.

Nice easy step, bring the cylinder to Sophia and place it in the empty gap in front of her. You will see a 6 letter password cylinder on the left. Shoot at each letter until it spells "Kronos" vertically, then press to accept the password.

Step 6: Place the 6 objects and do the trials.

This part is hardest and most tedious part of the EE.

To start, you need to head to the computer across from Sophia and will notice 6 spots. Place the 6 objects from Step 3 in the spots here and the button in the middle will be green. Press it with to start the challenges.

You need to complete 6 trials, one for each object. The order is randomized and you need to complete all 6. You can tell what one you have by watching a small light travel over each object. It will stop on the challenge you're doing.

You can only attempt 1 per round and if you fail, then you need to wait a round before doing it again.

Here are the 6 different challenges:

  • Gersh Orb – A small yellow orb will spawn and fly around the map. You must shoot it with your weapons non-stop until it stops and talks to you. Repeat 3 times and it will say you're hurting it. It will then go to the Dragon Command room and you will finish after a short dialogue scene.

  • Valkyrie – A friendly drone will be at the spawn area. It makes a sonar noise so you know where it is. You need to escort it all the way to the teleporter in the Dragon Command. It will only move if you're standing right next to it and you will have zombies swarming you non-stop. Having the Undead Man Walking gum works wonders here so you won't get trapped. Once it gets to the teleporter, you're done.

  • Mangler Soldier – Similar to the Valkyrie drone, you need to escort a Mangler to the teleporter, only this one is a huge pain! It can attack you while following you and if you go too far away, it will stop following you and do its own thing. You also can't damage it too much or else it will die and since you're killing zombies non-stop, it's quite annoying to get him so close only to have him die by an errant bullet. Use the gum Undead Man Walking to help you out!

  • Supply Drop – Easiest of the trials. A supply drop will fall outside the map at 1 of the 3 locations that the dragon can pick you up at (Dragon Command, Supply Depot or Tank Factory). Keep it from blowing up from afar with your weapons. Once it's done, you need to retrieve the cargo by deploying the dragon pet from the Gauntlet of Siegfried ( + to use, then to send out the dragon). It will drop the package right in front of you, then you need to place it inside Sophia to finish the trial.

  • Nuke – This one is a huge pain, easily the most annoying. 6 bombs will activate around the map and you have a very limited time to defuse them. The computer screen will flash really fast, then it will list out the locations you must defuse in order by lighting up each location. It's still pretty fast' so I used my phone to record the order so I wouldn’t forget. You can also have each player in the game memorize a few locations each so that you don't have to remember everything yourself. Now you need to defuse them all in order. If you get the wrong one, the bomb will blow up and you’ll go down, as will anyone else standing near one. If playing solo, this could ruin your entire run. Luckily you can be revived in co-op if you do go down. If you missed the correct order, then you can either detonate the wrong one and go down or wait out the timer. As long as you're not standing right next to a bomb, you should be safe. Also note that you must wait for the blue fuses to go down before defusing the next bomb or else they will explode!

The bomb locations are as follows:
    • Department Store - On the first floor behind the stairway.
    • Armoury - Near the ramp leading upstairs.
    • Infirmary - Near the stairway that leads to the bunker.
    • Dragon Command - On the upper floor on the left, above the teleporter.
    • Tank Factory - In the room in on the top floor, above the piping system puzzle.
    • Supply Depot - On the first floor, near the lower entrance to this area.

Once the final bomb is defused, the trial will be complete.

  • 935 Logo – You will receive a key card from the computer. You have to go to the Hatchery and use the Red PC hidden at the back of the first floor. All players must be there to activate it. You will then do yet another lockdown sequence, except this one is entirely Manglers for 3 waves. Just camp up top in the corner and spam everything you have! There is 1 Max Ammo downstairs that you can grab if needed. Once this is done, grab the key card back again and place it in Sophia. Almost done the EE!

Step 7: Activate Sophia again and deliver the Power Core to Nikolai.

Press on Sophia again and she will talk for a bit then open up a compartment. Grab the Power Core inside. Now you need to head to the spawn and use the Gauntlet to send your dragon out. It will grab the Power Core and deliver it to Nikolai (who is trapped inside some rubble outside the map). Now talk to Sophia and she will fly away, revealing a grate leading to the boss.

Step 8: Boss fight(s)!

Get as many perks as possible, grab a new shield if needed, Pack-a-Punch all your weapons and equip some good Gobblegums (Aftertaste preferred if possible). Now have all players stand on the grate and it will open a sewer pipe leading to the boss. Once in the boss arena, hit the switch in the middle to spawn the boss (Feel free to explore the area before doing so).

First Fight (Dragon):

The dragon will spit fire at you, which covers the entire battlefield. It lasts a long time so either hide in the trenches or equip your shield and run through it. Zombies will also spawn forever and Nikolai will be running around in his Mech suit. Just keep running together clockwise around the arena.

Nikolai will shoot missiles at the dragon and eventually will open a weak spot on it. Shoot that weak spot whenever you get a chance and eventually it will break. Repeat for the last 2 weak spots and the first phase will be done! The first weak spot is on the dragon’s right shoulder (your left when looking at it), the second weak point is on the opposite side and the final weak point is on the dragon’s neck.

Second Fight (Nikolai):

This is the last fight of the EE. Nikolai will be in his mech suit, attacking you with a barrage of missiles, stomping you and firing electric spikes into the ground. His attacks are really powerful so you constantly need to keep moving. Zombies also spawn non-stop as well, so be careful. Later in the fight, he will also send RAPS out at you, so make sure to kill those fast too since they can down you pretty fast!

Nikolai has 4 weak points on his suit. Every so often, a yellow core will poke out on top of his head (1 on each side) and you must shoot them until they blow up. He also has 2 weak points on either side of his face, they look like little cylinders that have to be blown up as well. Once those are blown up, 1 final weak point will show up right in the middle of his chest. Shoot at it until it explodes, finishing the fight!

After you've defeated Nikolai, you will see the final cutscene and the trophy will pop afterwards! Congrats!

In short, don't kick too hard. Errors may occur. I took it from the English guide. As I go along, I will either correct it or someone will correct me. Steps 1 to 4 can be performed in any order convenient for you.
====================================

1. To get started: ps is not necessary, but a gas mask will also come in handy - you can get it on the second floor after fulfilling some conditions - there are 3 types:
- butcher mask - taken on the second floor of the store on a mannequin after killing a certain number of butchers (probably for shooting helmets and weapons)
- Valkyrie mask - taken next to the previous one after killing a certain number of Valkyries (probably for shooting hands and eyes)
- dragon wings - taken on the third floor of the store, after riding dragons from all three points (you probably still need to survive the dragon fire)
It may be that you still need to assemble the glove (usually this happened to us after this). You can only wear one mask and change it whenever you want. Each gives its own bonuses.
====================================

2. Find 6 figurines (in any order)... in short:
  • in the library after turning on the laser, in the floor
  • in the bunker. When flushing into the sewer, you need to hit some object. And the statue will float out of the toilet in the bunker.
  • on the square, if you turn away from the building. It will be a cutter. Shoot at the limbs and a statue should appear at the bottom right
  • In the right location with the carriage - you need to use the dragon strike on the puddle
  • you need to use Siegfried's glove in the basement to hit the safe with a powerful blow (release the dragon and then hit) - a safe with a figurine will open
  • there is a pipe in the left location - you need to hit it with a gas shield and a figurine falls out of the window nearby
Video to help - more details with English comments - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_IRsJUk0tc
====================================

3. It is necessary to solve the challenge with pipes. There are regulators at the locations. This step can be triggered at any time. It starts in the bunker, next to the egg incubator on the right side of the room there is a generator - you need to turn it on (boxes with a rag on top). To do this, you need to shoot off all the arms of the drone and then you need to lure it so that it rams the generator. (When turned on, the rag will squirm in the wind)
Actually you need to turn the pipe regulators. Initially, the regulators should have one green, and the rest blue or disabled. There will also be a purple cylinder on one of the pipes. The goal is to release the cylinder.

Below in additions to the tip from Comrade. hellovladimir you will find options.
Let's see how they are located:
  • G - green lamp.
  • T - tube.
And we set the numbers in all rooms as required.

Locations:
- Tank Factory - Bottom floor, in an open square area.
- Infirmary - On the middle floor, behind the beds.
- Electricity switching room - Top floor on the right.
- Armory - upstairs near the bridge.
- Library - Ground floor near the bookshelves.
- Department Store - Top floor, stairs leading down.
====================================

4. We take the resulting cylinder and carry it to the “Big Eye” - there we insert the cylinder into the slot. The door will open and you need to type the password by shooting at the letters. In the English version the password is "Kronos". Then click to accept the password
====================================

5. Place the assembled figurines on the table opposite the “big eye”. The green button in the center will light up - press and start the challenge.
It is necessary to complete 6 challenges for figurines that appear in random order. You only have one attempt per round; if you fail, you must end the round.
Challenges are tied to figurines, the desired one will be highlighted:
- Gersh Orb – a small yellow ball flies. You need to shoot at him with an automatic weapon until he stops and talks to you, and so on 3 times. After that, he will fly away to the figurines and disappear after the dialogue. (ideally it is better to shoot from a laser from a “black hole” - 3 hits are enough)
- Valkyrie – a friendly drone will appear in the spawn area. It is necessary to accompany and protect him until he reaches the final destination. He will only move when you are nearby and there are zombies.
- Mangler Soldier - just like the previous one - you need to accompany the panzer, only he can attack you if you are close, but will not go if you are far away.
- Supply Drop - the capsule will appear behind one of 3 locations (Electricity switching room, Tank Factory, library) - you need to shoot the attacking zombies. Then, when it opens, take the load using Siegfgrid's glove - launching the dragon. And then pick up the box that the dragon brings. And we refer to it as the “eye”.
- Nuke – there are 6 bombs on the map and you need to defuse them in the order that flashes on the computer (near the figurines) when you start the challenge. They show it very quickly - you need to have time to remember it. There is very little time to clear mines - if you clear mines in the wrong order, you will die. If you don’t have time, bombs will explode in locations where the mines have not been cleared and whoever is there will fall.
- 935 Logo – receive a key card. We go to the incubator and use the key on the red computer on the first floor (all players must be there). You need to survive 3 waves. Then we take the key card.
====================================

6: Activate the “eye” and get the item. Click on the eye and the dialogue will begin. When the compartment opens, take the core. Then we go to the respawn and use the glove to send the dragon to collect the parts. After this we return to the “eye”. She should fly away and open the hatch to the boss.
====================================

7. We buy everything we need and go down the aisle to the boss and knock him down.
- first we bring down the dragon, Nikolai will shoot at it, thereby opening vulnerable points - we shoot at them. The entire location will be covered in fire - we hide in the trenches. In fire we use a shield.
- we bring down Nikolai - shooting at the points. 2 will be on the sides (lights) and 2 will open from the top. When their volume appears on the muzzle from the bottom center.
Bosfight video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8_90NOehP0

z.y. I personally found the first stage quite simple. The main thing is that we don’t run around in fire without a shield.
the second is where the meat starts. Here I would advise that someone (1-2 people) have a helmet + heymarker upgraded for shooting butchers because there will be a lot of them there. Also, at least two or three people should have a third weapon - upgraded crossbows (they are trash, but with upgrades they instantly revive their partners - that’s exactly what we use them for). I also recommend taking out the “aftertaste” before going to the boss - because it will be endless on the boss and you won’t lose perks when you fall (the rest of the bubblegums won’t help much). We also try to save ammunition (take it from the center only when absolutely necessary) because at the end there is almost nothing left.

Walkthrough of the quest in Russian: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seBC9LCK7mE .
I advise you to put in the “Incredible Generosity” gum and try to pull it out in round 1. Using this gum you can open most doors to turn on the electricity and start the quest.
To obtain a cylinder with a code and combinations for steam devices, this site is suitable: https://www.kronorium.com/blackops3/gorodkrovi/ . You are required to enter the location where the pink cylinder is located in the pipe and where the green lamp is lit. The resource itself will generate the combination.
For the step with the figurines, use the Walk of the Dead gum. It will be useful for escorting and mine clearance. For the last figurine, it is not necessary to stand 4 waves against the “butchers” in the house. On the first wave, place one “cyborg” and run with him on the first floor. The remaining players are on the 2nd floor and are waiting for the floppy disk to finish loading.
The most decisive step is the battle with Nikolai. Chewing gum "Shy Game" is suitable so as not to be distracted by every little thing, but to focus on the boss. Nikolai will move around and shoot from the autocannon, releasing VPPS (be careful). The task is to knock down all the yellow lights from his cabin.

I don’t recommend going solo, because... this is quite difficult, and when there is a boss fight, Nikolai will be focused only on you. At least three or four people and let at least two people improve crossbows, they lift with one shot.
