How to unlock the "Insert Coin" achievement in Call of Duty: Black Ops - Definitive Guide

1) Go To main menu

2) look down till you see your hands

3) keep pressing LT and RT and you will break out of the chair ( you will recive and acheivment)

4) walk behind the chair you where sitting in

5) accesses the computer that’s behind you

6) type DOA

7) Black Ops Arcade will come up and just watch the cut seen it gives you and the achievement will unlock.

Note: This will also unlock Dead Ops zombie level for you to play! The video below will show you how to get all chair achievements thanks to Achievement Hunter

You can also play split screen with a friend who already has the arcade game unlocked -- and I assume you can be invited to a game online as well.

You have to be at the directory to input "doa". If you just typed zork, exit the computer and press "A" to sit in chair again. Break free and go to computer to type "doa" again and it will start. There may be a command to exit zork, but I couldn't find it.

if you type quit while playing zork it will ask if your sure then just type y, then type in doa

From the main menu where you can select Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies and Options use your Right Analog Stick and look down at your hands then hit repeatedly both the triggers on your controller and you will be released from your chair. Go behind the chair and go to the terminal/computer and hold X after this enter DOA. After tentering DOA it will come up with an arcade screen saying "Insert Coin" i'm unsure how to enter the coin so I just pressed any button and you will unlock the achievement/trophy.

Just for clarification, people don't need to insert a coin. There isn't even a coin, actually.

Break free from your chair by pressing the left and right triggers fast. turn around and you should see a computer. Go to it and hold X . Now in the top right corner you should see a keyboard. type in DOA to unlock the achievement and to start a game.

Note: The following notes below will not unlock you achievements, i just thought you might want to know about them.

Note: If you type in " 3arc unlock " ,without the quotes, all black ops missions unlock and so does the zombie map "five". (Warning! this is a cheat and activating it may stop you from earning some achievements, You will have to use the " reset " command ,without the quotes, to reset it. Also this will not unlock you any achievements.

Note: If you type in " 3arc intel " ,without the quotes, all black ops intel unlocks.(Warning! this is a cheat and activating it may stop you from earning some achievements, You will have to use the " reset " command ,without the quotes, to reset it. Also this will not unlock you any achievements.

Note: Mason has mail! type in " Mail " , without the quotes, and all mason's mail will apper on screen ( he has 10 ). to read on type in the number of the mail ,which is on the left of the subject name, and then type in [n] so for example: 0 [n] . will show you mason's first e-mail.

I'm not sure why everyone is choosing to do this the hard way and break free from the torture chair in the title screen. All I had to do was press start, go to "Zombies" on the title screen under "Multiplayer" and select "Dead Ops Arcade". The game will start with a cartoon cutscene and gameplay will begin. Achievement unlocked.

Mash LT and RT until you get out of your interrogation chair (If you haven't gotten out of the chair before, you should get an achievement right once you get up). Go behind the chair to find a small terminal on a hospital operation tray. Use the computer, and an on-screen keyboard should appear. To play Dead Ops Arcade, type in 'DOA' and hit enter. Dead Ops Arcade will begin and you should get the achievement.

After you start Dead Ops Arcade from the terminal, you don't have to keep going to the terminal to play it. You can go to 'Zombies' on the main menu and Dead Ops Arcade should be an option.

(EXTRA: Alternatively, on the terminal you can type in '3ARC UNLOCK' on the terminal to unlock Dead Ops Arcade, the Zombies map 'Five', and every campaign mission. This will not disable any achievements for Black Ops.)

Just thought I'd mention that if you have a USB attached keyboard, you can use that to enter commands/codes.

When you want to quit the game, just press Start and choose Quit like you normally do.

When your at the main menu if u look down you'll notice that your sitting in a chair to get out to you tap LT and RT to get out. Second you walk foward that a left and make one more left and you''ll see a computer. To access the computer hold X and then type in DOA. Hit enter on the far right of the keyboard. This should unlock Dead Ops Arcade

At the menu mash LT and RT back to back, this will make your character break out of the chair. behind the chair there's a computer access the terminal and type in DOA (Dead Ops Arcade) let the game load up and there's your achievement.

At the start menu press LT RT rapidly and you'll get out of the chair you'll get 'just aks me nicley' achivment if not gotten. walk behide the chair and there should be a computer, press x to get on the computer you'll get a new gamer picture, a keybord will a apear in the top left type doa (dead ops arcade). the achivment will pop up then a new screen will pop up an arcade game theam. it is a nazi zombies game birds eye view and up to 4 players

ACCESSING THE DEAD OPS ARCADE:
• First be at the main menu at the start
• Press cn_LT and cn_LT repeatedly to get lose from the chair, now you can move freely
• Look for a computer it will be labeled "Terminal", now press cn_X to use the computer
• Enter the phrase "DOA" with keyboard up in the right corner
• If you have done all things correctly you will get screen stating, "Insert Coins"

"Insert Coin" - 5G (Original Achievement)

Difficulty: Very Easy

Estimated Period of Time: Very Short
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Simply press the Left and Right Triggers repeatedly to break free from the chair in the Main Menu, from here walk around to the back of the room to find a small computer on a desk. Access the computer and type D O A to access the game Dead Ops Arcade. After watching the intro cut scene to the game you will unlock your achievement.

This achievement is very easy. All you need to do is break out of the chair by repeatedly pressing RT and LT, once out of the chair walk over to the computer (its in one of the corners) press X to enter the computer and type in DOA. Then click enter, when its says "Insert Coin" on the title screen on Dead Ops Arcade, just wait a little and once in the game, your achievement should pop.

3) Rapidly left and right click while also tapping the spacebar and you will break out of the chair ( you will receive an achievement)

4) walk behind the chair you where sitting in

5) access the computer that’s behind you

6) type DOA

7) Black Ops Arcade will come up and just watch the cutscene it gives you and the achievement will unlock.

Note: This will also unlock Dead Ops zombie level for you to play!

To unlock Dead Ops Arcade, you must first get out of the chair by continuously pressing  and . Then go to the computer that is in the far back of the room, and enter "DOA", then press enter on the far right of the keyboard. This will unlock Dead Ops Arcade.
