Quick question, ive been playing the campaign on veteran from the start and i didn't get this achievement. Ive just got the Not Today achievement which is meant to be after It's Your Funeral. Can i redo these 3 levels with mission select or will i have to start from the beginning ?

You will be able to do it from mission select.

The key is being patient. The mission Numbers is relatively easy, just use cover a lot.
On Project Nova, you have to be patient and let your teammates move up sometimes and try to kill as many enemies as they can. The last part is kinda hard, so just use cover in that part and sprint for the finish at one point.
On Victor Charlie, same thing- use cover a lot. Use the Grim Reaper for the boat, then save it for later harder parts, such as the MG emplacement soon after, which destroying with the Grim Reaper will get you an achievement. In the tunnels, be constantly aiming a lot, and pause before turning into a new corridor.
For some reason, I beat these 3 missions on Veteran, and it didn't give me the achievement!!! I don't know why....

The technique I used to get through all these veteran difficulty levels is pretty simple.
All you do is go through and get "trigger happy".
First you need to make sure your AIM ASSIST is turned ON.
From there you need to just rapidly start TAPPING the LT and RT repeatedly when you come across enemies.
The LT will automatically, for a split second, AIM at a given enemy's neck on screen and the RT will FIRE a bullet or barrage of bullets at that spot. If you do it fast enough, the sight will focus only on the enemies on screen.
If you see an enemy or two up close just take your time (if you want) and kill them.
This technique really helps for taking down large groups of enemies that are hidden behind cover with only their heads showing or arms showing.
I would use the trigger technique for every enemy just because some of the AI is broken and "headshot"s you from cover.
If this explanation isn't clear, please leave a comment so I can improve this.

You must complete “Numbers”, “Project Nova” and “Victor Charlie” on Veteran difficulty. Please refer to "Black Op Master" for tips.
To get this trophy, complete the three levels listed above on Veteran Difficulty. You can play them out of order via the Chapter Select menu.
Mission 7: Numbers is probably the only one that will give you problems because I find the weapons are sub-standard and most of the time you’re being pelted from all sides and mysterious grenades seem to pop up from nowhere to blast you out of where you're hiding even if the enemy is in a building across the street. Take it easy, pickup a sniper and a assault rifle as your main weapons for medium and long range capabilities so you can pick off enemies from some degree of safety.
For tips on Veteran Difficulty, see BLACK OPS MASTER.
