How to unlock the Completionist achievement in Call of Duty: Ghosts - Definitive Guide
**You must complete all of the challenges in a single game AND escape in order for the achievement to unlock**
You'll want to play with the relic pistols only and play in a solo match by yourself.
My Setup.
Class: Medic (because the 4th upgrade stops ongoing damage from scorpion gas clouds)
Pistol: MP-443 Grach Pistol
Ammo: Explosive ( It works best against all types of enemies)
Support: Armor
Strike: Sentry
Equilizer: Riot Shield
The benefit of playing by yourself with a relic on is that you won't get the challenges for killing enemies with a certain type of weapon.
Now here are my tips.
1. Search the first area until you find a flare, because when the challenge comes up for finding the leaper and killing him within 30 seconds, the flare makes this one a joke.
2. Upgrade your turret slot all the way, and then the pistol all the way, and then do your medic class until the 4th slot so you don't take ongoing damage from gas clouds.
3. Turrets Turrets Turrets! these guys are your best friends and your primary goal should be to protect them and keep them alive.
I got this Achievement on my first try using this method playing by myself! I hope this helps,
Most of the challenges are fairly self explanatory and easy enough to obtain when working together. Some require you to put your turrets away (face them against a wall), such as melee killing or killing with a certain class of weapon. It is best to not setup new turrets until you know what the challenge actually is (after the drill has been set). Here's some of the tricky ones:
* Don't reload for the first 60 seconds: Be aware that throwing out ammo and sometimes switching weapons can trigger an automatic reload.
* Maintain an accuracy of 50%/75% or above: determine which person in the group is the best shooter, and let them make the necessary shots. It's best to perform this when an alien is attacking the drill. Turret bullets luckily do not count, so go nuts with those and rely on melee for defense or cleaning up the mess. Keep your finger off RT!
* Kill the leper in the first 30/60 seconds: depending on which wave this comes up, this can really hard to get. However as per usual use a flare and fire on anything that moves - 90% of the time this should be good enough. As started in other solutions, KILLING THE LEPER WITH A TURRET DOES NOT COUNT, so tuck your turrets away temporarily. (Note: there are reports that this challenge may have a 30 second limit now.)
* Kill 5 aliens while they are in the air: electric fences are your best bet, otherwise try to get up high like on a fence, roof, top of truck etc and time your shots.
* Kill 25 aliens with a sniper rifle: Abandon all hope. If you want to give it a try, grab a sniper rifle AND then grab new ammo (armor piercing hopefully, explosive as a fallback) as your previous ammo doesn't come with you. Use a flare to draw aliens into one area and fire away. Preferably get a number of people in your team to get the sniper rifle. I haven't seen a team ever get this challenge, but I'm sure it can be done.
If you're playing to grind, time efficiency would say that if you fail a challenge before the second barrier hive you should end the game and start over. If you fail a challenge after that, it's still worthwhile doing the rest of the waves for practice.
A lot of people recommend doing this solo, or with one other person, however, I have heard of successes with 4, and have gotten to the nuke with 3, so really, to each their own.
Solo:
I personally have found success with the following loadout:
- Weapon Specialist (For the extra bullet damage and faster reload)
- Grach Pistol
- Armor Piercing Ammo (Easier to kill Hunters and Rhinos)
- Feral Instincts (For increased speed and regen)
- Sentry Turret
- Grenade Turret (For shooting Barrier Hives)
- No Relic
And this is the Skill Point Distribution I use (in this order):
Sentry Turret: Max out (7 Skill Points)
Class: Faster Reload (4 Skill Points)
Feral Instincts: Faster Health Regen (2 Skill Points)
AP Ammo: 60% Capacity (3 Skill Points)
Pistol: Carry 2 Primary Weapons (4 Skill Points)
From here, either add your skill points to your Ammo or Feral Instincts
Best Method is with Four Players:
Everyone MUST HAVE a Sentry Turret. At least THREE people need to have it maxed out. I say three because we had one of my friends using Armor/Ammo and throwing it down regularly for everyone so his turret was not as good.
If you are doing it co-op I highly recommend maxing out your class and turret first.
If you have special ammo, make sure everyone has the same.
Try to keep other abilities diverse (ie. Two with Feral, Two with Armor).
Problems you may run into:
"Get X amount of trap kills"
Getting trap kills is incredibly difficult at the later stages, because there are more Hunters and Scorpions which do not get killed by the traps in the Cabin area easily.
"Find and kill the Leaper in 30 seconds"
The "Leaper" is essentially a Hunter-sized alien that dies faster than a Hunter. So, use Feral Instincts so that you can locate aliens through walls, increasing your chances of finding the Leaper. Kill everything that looks like a Hunter or Scout.
"Maintain an accuracy of XX% while defending the hive"
This is easy during the earlier rounds, but when you are defending the nuke, and this pops up, you might start grinding your teeth...Essentially, what you should do is deploy all of your Sentry Turrets in the WATER, then turn on the Electric Trap. This will fry all of the Hunters going after your turrets. Other than that, use explosives (launchers, grenades, claymores, betties, Grenade Turrets), or a shotgun is the only advice I can offer.

While playing the game you will have a challenge to complete every hive you attack. There is a total of 12 challenges that you need to complete. These challenges are randomly generated in each game. Most of them are "Kill x aliens with an x type of weapon" but some can be really tricky like "Kill x aliens while they are in mid air". You have until the drill has finished drilling to complete the challenge. As I said, it is very random and luck based what challenges you get. Sometimes you will get the challenge "Find and kill the Leper in 30 seconds". I have played many games and have never found it. But it's essentially hide and seek and it's luck if you find him within 30 seconds or not. This is best done with 2 players or solo, trying to do it with 4 players makes things harder as the challenge values are higher.
weapon special +sniper rifle +high ground (as high as possible cause it take longer for Alien to jump to the high ground ) and its very easy to one shot kill them when they are jumping.
second AO is easier to do this than the firest AO ,,depend on your luck
Probably the hardest achievement in the game. A challenge will appear every time that a drill is placed at a hive, and you must complete every challenge and escape to get this achievement. 4 players is obviously the best method, and all 4 players should know the objectives at hand at all times.
There are a few tips I have here for overall success. If the challenge you get is related to a specific gun type, and nobody has it, only 1 or 2 members of the team should buy the weapon while the others stay back and protect them while minimizing their own kills until the challenge is complete. If the challenge is to maintain 75% accuracy or to not reload, try to finish the rounds using melee attacks or sentries as accidental reloads and ammo pickups complicate things.

During the game, watch where (on each of the 14 drills) the aliens begin to attack. As soon as such a test occurs, we run to the first wave and look for it.
Specialization - WOLF, also helps in searches.
1) First location 3-4 hives: goes down the mountain opposite the fence with a trap, runs either left or right, maybe to the starting area, maybe into the passage in front of the ladder to the last hive.
2) Second location 2nd hive: descends from the buildings between which the last hive and runs to the right
3rd hive: it happened once, it ran straight at me in the first wave, near the truck, then jumped onto the building behind the truck and died safely. (The hive was the one behind the wall)
3) Third location: there he usually descends from the barn, which contains 12 hives. Also, if the test falls on the 12th hive in the barn, he climbs out along the fence on which there is a trap below, which is closer to the barn, behind it are 13-14 hives.
I don’t know if the places of appearance change, but no matter how much I played, I very rarely missed the leaker, mostly I always caught it in the places that I described, the main thing to remember is that you need to know what it exactly looks like, then there won’t be any problems. Yes, as they wrote in the hint above, especially in the third location, be careful with the turrets, if they kill him, the test will fail.
And the challenges themselves are much easier to complete in solo, with the exception of Leeper (for this we take Instincts and drop them as soon as the test begins), killing mobs in the air (we fire a couple of shots, then start to move away, forcing the mobs to jump on us), and in the third city, if you get a kill from traps, it’s also a bit of a pain to go through. The best way is to turn on the current in front of the very last hive, and kite the mobs with electricity. All other challenges will not cause any problems.
