How to unlock the Deforestation achievement in Call of Duty: Ghosts - Definitive Guide

Seeders are a new type of enemy in Extinction effectively replacing Scorpions. They are a small beetle-like enemy with glowing yellow cysts on their backs. They can crawl around quickly on any surface and will shoot smoke clouds that will attach a Seeder Turret onto an surface like the ground, walls or ceiling. Each Seeder is capable of producing multiple turrets. For this achievement, you will need to kill a total of 15 seeder turrets in one game. These will show up in any of the areas, but are most common in Area 2 & Area 3. This can be boosted by purposely leaving a Seeder alive on the map, but is not recommended as it can make the game very difficult if there are too many turrets on the map at a time. Players should easily be able to take out 25+ turrets within 1 full playthrough of Mayday.

Hey man I got every achievement out of this game but this one. I have killed 30+ in one game and no achievement, I was wondering if you have heard anything if I have to do this by deleting my save or if I have to do this local like the old ones? I have no idea what I should try.

I do not take credit for this video as it was made by Maka91Productions.

This trophy is easier than you think as there will be easily more than 15 in one play-through. The video is for those that want to watch what to do so you can learn about it.

You will most likely get this while playing normally. In co-op, both my friend and I got the trophy in the same game, so there’s definitely more than enough Seeders that spawn. If you’re having trouble with this, simply play like normal, and if you see a Seeder spawn (they look like Seekers but with yellow backs), don’t kill it until it fires out some turrets. They usually deploy 2-3 turrets each so just purposely delay killing them until they stop. The turrets can be taken out with any weapon, but the Venom-X will take them out the easiest.

Turrets are red shooting flowers that are planted by yellow creptids (spores). These creptids also shoot yellow mist, like the scorpions in the previous part..

You'll get it almost automatically when you reach the Kraken. After going up to the upper deck there will be a lot of flowers.

The faster you destroy the “controversies,” the easier it will be to complete the game, because they will not have time to plant shooting “flowers”.
