How to unlock the End of your rope achievement in Call of Duty: Ghosts - Definitive Guide

You can get this achievement during the 15th mission called "All or Nothing". As with every other misc. achievement in this game you can play the mission on the easiest difficulty setting and still get it!

After you got out of the ship and on the deck you have to take out several groups of soldiers. You then have to follow Hesh. He'll task you with picking up a tablet to control the Osprey later on. As soon as you pick up the tablet enemies on boats will approach your ship.

Run to the railing of the ship in front of you. The enemies on the boats will shoot up grappling hooks. Go to one of the hooks, look down and wait until you see one of the climbin up. Now you only have to press the Right Analogstick (or the B button if you switched your controls to Tactical for example) to cut the grappling hook!

Another relatively simple achievement. In the mission All or Nothing you will be fighting on the deck of a ship and at one point Hesh will tell you to go defend the side of the ship where the enemy is boarding. To get this achievement you need to cut one of the ropes while an enemy is one it. There are I think 4 ropes in total that you can cut. Make sure you wait until someone starts climbing onto it before cutting the rope, but do not wait too long because your teammates will kill them before too long.

Simply load up the campaign mission 'All or Nothing' and proceed through the level until you are told to pick up the Osprey targeting control. After this you will be informed about incoming Federation zodiacs to the north, you will then have to make your way to the side of the ship and here on the rails you can press the melee button (when prompted) to cut the rope.

Mission 15: All or Nothing
In the beginning of the mission you will have to clear the flight deck of enemies. After that, you will have to pick up the Osprey targeting control. As soon as you pick it up, enemies will start attacking the ship from the side. They will come in dingies and throw grappling hooks up the ship. Wait until an enemy starts climbing the rope and cut it with your knife.

Chapter Select: "All or Nothing".

You will eventually see a "Defend" objective on the screen. Go over to this and you will see enemies on boats fire ziplines up towards the railings and you'll have the option to push to cut the rope. Don't cut the rope yet, wait until you see some guy who is coming up the rope then you cut it. The trophy will unlock shortly afterwards.

If you look at the railing, you will see glowing rappel lines hanging from the balcony. You can go up to these and cut them using RS. If you cut a line while an enemy is on it, you will unlock the achievement.

In the 15th mission on the Aircraft Carrier, according to the plot, you will run up to the edge of the aircraft carrier, look down, as soon as the enemy from the boat begins to climb the cable - strike with a knife and you will cut the cable, if it does not work on the first cable, there will be another nearby.
