Find all of the Intel in Awakening.

How to unlock the Spelunker achievement in Call of Duty: Ghosts - Definitive Guide

There are two types of collectibles that can be found within the Awakening DLC.

Classified Intel: These are randomly picked up from searchable items, and their locations change during every playthrough. You will need to pick up a total of 3 of these intel types to unlock them. Only 1 player can pick it up, and it will automatically unlock the intel in order. Each area will contain between 1-2 intel items, and this can easily be boosted solo using the first area and then dying during the first drill section.

Encrypted: These are also permanent laptops that can be found on the map, and their locations are as follows:

1. Fugitive - Area 1 - There is a small cave like room accessible on the mountain face to the right of the entrance to this area. Use platforms, or the mushroom to reach this area.
2. Defector - Area 2 - Again, another small cave to the right of the entrance to the area. Use jumps to access it, or go around back to walk in this area.
3. Executioner - Final Room - Upon reaching the final room, jump up on the ledge on either side of the entrance, then jump from there onto the higher ledge above the doorway to find this last piece of intel.

There is also an Epilogue intel that is attained by completing the DLC, but it is not required for the achievement.

Just follow this guide to find the placed intels. After you have these, look in search boxes for the other three.

You have to complete the map for the last cutscene to unlock but I do not think that that counts for the achievement.

For this achievement/trophy, you'll need to find 7 pieces of intel. 3 are in static locations and the other 4 are randomly found in the grey boxes around the map. In the video below, you can see where you can find the 3 static intel pieces.

If you've played the previous chapters, then you are familiar with what the Intel is already. Awakening has six lootable Intel that you need to gather for the achievement. Three of them are from scavenging boxes, and three are static spawns on the map. The epilogue is not needed, but will come regardless, so deal with it. Their locations are shown in the following video:

They can be gathered in any order as you progress or backtracked if needed.

There are 6 intels that you can find in the map, 3 are found by searching boxes (labelled "Classified" on the intel screen), and the other 3 are on laptop screens (labelled "Encrypted" on the intel screen) hidden around the map. You do not need the epilogue intel to get this trophy.

The 3 Classified intel can be collected in solo or co-op games, and usually spawns in the first area. So search every box you find and if you get nothing, just restart the map and search again.

Here are the locations of the 3 Encrypted intel:
1. In the first area, near the middle of the area there are a few rock ledges you can climb up on the left. (There's a fire barrel near these for reference). From here there are 2 caves, one above you that you can climb in, and once slightly to your right that you can jump into. You will need to jump into the one on the right, and the intel is right in here.
2. This one is tricky to explain, but easy to find. In the second area, at the entrance, it's in a tunnel way above you on your left. You can reach it by jumping up the mushrooms directly in front of you, and walking right to it, or you can head to the very left side of the area, and jump up some ledges that will take you into this hidden tunnel. Once inside the tunnel, the intel will be easily visible.
3. The last intel is in the 4th area (final area). Enter the temple, and when you're in the big room, turn around. There's a ledge above the entrance, and you can jump up the side to make it up there. The final intel will be right here in plain sight.

Here is a video to help you find them easier!

In this mission, the developers have made searching for data easier than in all previous parts.

Now we need to find only 6 data elements, of which 3 are stationary, and 3 are in random boxes.

It is also worth noting that data in random boxes began to drop out much more often.

Well, where would we be without a video guide?

Let's click and see.
