Description - Escape using a relic in Extinction
You unlock the ability to use a relic during a match of extinction once you prestige for the first time. There are a total of 5 relics. (you prestige after lvl 30 automatically)
Relics / Which are easy to use
1.Take More Damage - Aliens do increased damaged with their attacks. Hard
2.Pistols Only - Weapon purchases are not allowed. Easy
3.Smaller Wallet - Earn and carry less cash. Medium
4.Mortal - No class selection available. Easy
5.Do Less Damage - Inflict less damage against the aliens. Hard
Easy setup / How many players should use suggestions.
Tank - Only you
Explosive rounds - All players
Armor - 3 Players / Feral instinct - 1 player
Shield - Any
Sentry gun - All Players
Pistol - Which ever you like the most
Sentry guns are unlocked at lvl 22 and once fully upgraded allow you to place 2 at a time. Multiply that by 4 people and everything becomes easy. I used pistol only and upgraded pistol and sentry first then armor. All points left used on tank for extra health for the escape.

You'll want to play with the relic pistols only and play in a solo match by yourself.
My Setup.
Class: Medic (because the 4th upgrade stops ongoing damage from scorpion gas clouds)
Pistol: MP-443 Grach Pistol
Ammo: Explosive ( It works best against all types of enemies)
Support: Armor
Strike: Sentry
Equilizer: Riot Shield
The benefit of playing by yourself with a relic on is that you won't get the challenges for killing enemies with a certain type of weapon.
Now here are my tips.
1. Search the first area until you find a flare, because when the challenge comes up for finding the leaper and killing him within 30 seconds, the flare makes this one a joke.
2. Upgrade your turret slot all the way, and then the pistol all the way, and then do your medic class until the 4th slot so you don't take ongoing damage from gas clouds.
3. Turrets Turrets Turrets! these guys are your best friends and your primary goal should be to protect them and keep them alive.
I got this Achievement on my first try using this method playing by myself! I hope this helps,

Remember, completing challenges will make your life a whole lot easier. I would also suggest grabbing the Chain SAW, found in the second level of the barn where you have to destroy a hive, as it's ammo capacity and the armor piercing rounds can kill a Rhino quickly. Once again, this is my personal setup, you don't need this to succeed if you plan to use a relic.

You can join sessions in progress as long as it is either a public game or a custom game with join session in progress allowed. You can play up until the nuke, then back out and the host stays in. Put on your relic and just complete the run for the achievement.

Whatever skill points are left over keep putting them in each skill. Just concentrate at sentry guns, ammo, armor, class and riot shields are useful if you have it equipped to protect your back.
first hive is either going to be take no damage or mêlée only. Search area before planting you'll find two pickups, hopefully one is a flare. Keep working on the hives n challenges. Dont buy any weapons unless its a weapon challenge then just two of you buy that gun. Now after you destroy four hives, counting the one by helicopter, you'll have the big hive that the copter shoots at. Gather all propane tanks, throw them on the hive. Place 2-3 sentry guns facing away from hive. Wait till the health meter shows up and if anyone has a soflam call them in. With the armor piercing ammo start shooting hive. After its destroyed you'll see a money box where you'll get $3000. Since you can only carry $6k max, if you have over $3k drop ammo, armor, etc to $3k before u pick up money.
the town is the same thing. 3 hives then mother hive. I'd recommend buying the M27 LMG. its located by first hive on street on wooden platform. Keep completing challenges. Always remember to keep ammo, armor, some boosters deployed at all times. For mother hive have 3-5 sentry guns by hive facing away. Arm 3 electric fences. Everyone shoot at hive. Wont take long to destroy this way.
Working your way to the cabin you might run across two rhinos. DO NOT shoot, they will go away if you leave them alone and dont get to close. In this area its very vital to set your sentrys, armor, ammo before planting bomb. First hive you'll have a rhino spawn about 50% thru drilling. Take him out quick. There are three hives total before crater. Two on ground, one in barn. Put sentry guns in each corner of barn.
once on crater there are two hives. On the second it is very critical that all sentry guns are deployed with overlapping fields of fire. Ammo, armor, boosters need to be deployed always. Congrats you just destroyed them all, now comes the fun part.
BEFORE you arm the nuke. Everyone go to the cabin area. If you still have sentry guns out, bring them. At the cabin along the path, where theres an overhead wooden bridge, drop a sentry gun facing crater. Move down the road back to town. Before you reach the town there is that alley that goes from town to cabin. There will be a meteor that blocks you're path for 30 seconds. Deploy three sentry guns here facing towards cabin. Now move thru town. Where the road curves to take you back to motel area, drop another sentry gun by guard rails facing towards town. Now everyone run back to nuke. Make sure everyone has their pistols out. Deploy feral booster, grab it. Arm nuke then run, run, run. DO NOT bother shooting anything till you get to first meteor. Switch to main guns. Take out the two tanks quickly, and any other creatures. Deploy boosters n armor. As soon as meteor is gone, switch to pistol n run. When you get to next meteor drop two more sentrys facing town, three facing meteor. Switch to guns and kill both tanks. Deploy armor, feral booster. Switch to pistols and do some more running to extract. You should make it with 1:30-1:45 left on clock.

In order to get a relic you must first reach rank 30 in Extinction. Once you reach rank 30 you will go back to rank one but you will keep all your weapons etc. When you do this, you are given the option to choose a relic from a list of five. These are as follows:
- Take more damage from Aliens
- Pistols only
- Smaller Wallet / Max $3000
- You inflict less damage
- No class selection available
The easiest one on the list is the smaller wallet one. It is still difficult though but compared to the rest of them it is easy. Choose whichever one you are confident with. Simply enable the relic before starting and then just escape. Please note, only the person who has the relic enabled will get the trophy. You can't join somebody and you don't use a relic and he does. Also, only you need the relic on in order to get the trophy. You could have one on and your 3 teammates don't.

Each time you pass level 30 you can carry an additional relic. Up to five relics can be held at once, you will have to add only one relic to your loadout and call in the nuke and make it back to the chopper in time for the achievement. You could equip a relic to your loadout and play with three people who do not have a relic equipped, only you will unlock the achievement if you escape but this will make reaching the chopper easier for your team.

When moving from level 30 to 31, Prestige increases and the level counter is reset to 1 (don’t be alarmed that your level has not been saved)
To be honest, I passed using an artifact to reduce the amount of ammo in the boxes!
