EDIT I re-tried this on the 18/06/21 on a 2nd account and did both codes for me and my partener and we both got the achievememt so they have changed it in an update some point down the line were it does not need to be the individual that enters the codes for the achievement.

I can confirm that this achievement can only be unlocked if you and all players in your game input the code on the bomb inside the boss crog's stomach at the end of the main easter egg upon your first journey inside the Boss Crog's Stomach. Here are the things you need to know to help you to get this achievement.

1: This ONLY counts upon the FIRST time you journey into the Boss Crog's Stomach.

2: If you are unable to input the code upon your first journey inside the stomach and you are kicked out this achievement becomes VOID.

3: You can get strikes/fails and aslong as you and your team mates all input the codes on the first journey inside the stomach.

Tip: You can in-a-way practice the code step by using the machine that repairs the zombie and turns him into the key the numbers on that machine are always 3 4 5 6 8 but in a jumbled order so keep trying and good luck.

Can you fool the game? Ie to invite a player while you are entering ONLY the final code to unlock both?

I'm not sure i have tried inviting someone as i was putting in the code and they couldnt join in time so im not sure.

Any tips for entering the code? I struggle so much on it and it's so frustrating. I can't even do the repair zombie machine correctly.

I can only give you 2 tips.
1: Is take your time, don't try to rush, let the dot cycle through before going for your number don't try to get 2 numbers in the same cycle.
2: If you are playing co-op remember you and your team are all relying on each other. Also what me and my team did when attempting this was to stand up instead of crouch so the outline of another character didn't cover up any numbers, also if one of us did it we just kept quiet so we didn't distract one another.

yes you can do someone elses code but they do not get the achievement as i did my friends and 3 of us got it 1 didnt not sure if that is patched now but yesMcAwesomePT that is correct

You can't join while someone is inputting the code and get it. You spawn outside of the boss, and if they input the code correctly they still get spit out and you get teleported to the boss area. One of the biggest reasons that CoD zombies shouldn't exist.

Boss fight modes do not count for any achievements you have to do the main easter egg

me and my friend just did it, he already had it i didnt we went into the stomach and i entered my code first try but had 2 strikes my friend did the same exact thing and we got it in our first try but no unlock for me

It has to be the first go, not the first time you're in the boss' stomach. So within the first 3 strikes or you have to do the whole thing again, which is ass.

This achievement is so easy to mess up. The numbers 1 and 5 are my goddamn kryptonite, hopefully I can unlock it soon. Edit: Done it. All you can really do is try to remain calm. Hope next DLC doesn't include any of this.

For anyone wondering, if you fail this achievement you can retry it in a different game. The description of this achievement is not very clear. When you said "this achievement becomes VOID", I thought that meant the achievement becomes unobtainable forever if you get the code wrong once.
