How to unlock the The Longest Day achievement in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare - Definitive Guide
I just finished the Infinite Warfare campaign on Veteran difficulty and I have to say that it isn't that hard.
I can't put down a whole guide, because you probably don't need it.
However, I can provide you guys with a few tips:
- Probably the most important tip, stay.... behind... cover! I am a very fast person and I like to rush things, trust me, you can not do that in this game. Take your time and take out all the enemies in each section one by one. They don't spawn infinitely. I used the NV4 Assault Rifle throughout the entire game. Equip the attachments that you prefer (I do advise equipping Extended Mags) and I liked the ELO sight. For your secondary weapon, take an energy weapon to take out robots with ease. I used the VOLK Assault Rifle.
In terms of equipment, Drones, the Portable Shield, Seeker Grenades and Shock Grenades are your best friends. Spam these as much as you can, because they WILL help you a lot. There are numerous places in the game where you can restock your equipment.
- When you do the Jackal missions, make sure your Jackal has the extra armor equipped. You will die pretty fast in your Jackal so use Flares frequently and always move (if you hover for to long, enemies will do the same and surround you and you will be dead within the blink of an eye.
Use resupply drones to replenish your rockets, they are very effective against enemy attack carriers.
Again, take things slow and enjoy the campaign and it's setting. Note, in order to get this achievement, you need to complete all of the 31 missions (main missions + side missions).
Enjoy the game, if you have any questions, suggestions or other feedback please write that down below! Good Luck
By the way if people are still trying to get the Personal Decorator achievement in Black Ops 3, I have a guide for that as well.

Thanks for the guide!
And another Special Ops fan! I loved that mode! I liked MW3's Spec Ops more (DLC missions + Survival). I hate the direction Zombies is going. Don't get me started on the bullshit Easter Eggs these days...
I hope the next Call Of Duty will be better, but knowing Sledgehammer, it probably won't be...

I'm glad my little tips were helpful. I agree with you, Zombies isn't fun anymore, it's becoming a struggle. The maps are bad, the game mode is getting way to complicated and the whole survival aspect is gone. It's only aboout Easter Eggs right now, which is a shame.
I certainly hope they will bring back Special Ops, because I loved it. My fingers are crossed Sledgehammer......

Having just earned this trophy this morning, I thought I'd offer some invaluable tips to the rest of you that just got Infinite Warfare for the holidays. My recommendation: play through Infinite Warfare on an easier setting first, learning the lay of the levels and picking up any collectibles.
Then, use the mission select option to replay levels with all of your unlocked perks/upgrades. Even though Infinite Warfare's difficulty doesn't compare to the Call of Duty games from last generation, quicker health regeneration and extra lethal/tactical grenades will boost your survival chances.
I always equipped a shield and attack drones in my tactical slot. Drones actively seek out enemies, and the shield shows where your attackers are, even through walls. For the larger robots, shock and anti-grav grenades more than make up for the hacking device you don't need.
On the topic of loadouts, however, take a gun with a thermal scope. In some levels, it may be too dark or bright to identify enemies in the background, but a thermal sight has no trouble distinguishing friends from foes. Also, take one ballistic and one energy firearm to combat humans and bots, respectively.
You must complete all 31 missions in the game to earn this trophy, but I only died a handful of times in the six hours it took to finish Veteran.

I strongly recommend that you finish the side missions & a Recruit playthrough before attempting this.
The video linked is for the best possible loadouts in the game both for guns & your Jackal jet.
When fighting the C12 robots feel free to pickup rockets in place of your secondary gun
For the most part the hardest areas in the game are going to be fighting the C12s & while you're in zero gravity. If you're in zero gravity feel free to use your grappling hook to either camp behind any cover or rush ahead for a checkpoint.
Note that you have to finish both the main story & side missions.

This trophy is awarded for finishing all Single Player missions on Veteran difficulty. This includes all Main Missions and all Side Missions. If you finish all of the main missions without finishing all of the side missions you won't be able to continue with the side missions normally as there isn't any story continuation, so you will have to play the remaining side missions through missions select.

It is necessary to complete all tasks, including side ones.
