This takes place during the Mission Loose Ends, and it is recommended that you play on easier difficulties. You must get 11 kills using 10 claymores.
On lower difficulties, just use the claymore as an offensive weapon. Run up to the two vehicles and plant 2-4 claymores as people jump out, easily grabbing 7+ kills.
Once you breach the building, run in and keep planting claymores at the feet of enemies. If all enemies are cleared, place claymores at the entrances for when you defend the building.

Great guide. To add on to this solution, there are more claymores in the basement armory so if you do not get 11 kills, you do not have to stress about restarting.

Started this at the trucks pulling up to the safehouse right at the start, then got a few guys in the house, don't have to wait 'til the assault after you start the DSM.

After you've breached through all the house. You'll need to connect the DSM to Makarov's computer network.
Before starting the file transfer, plant your 10 claymores in and around openings of the house. The two entrances upstairs and the two entrances down stairs in the basement. Once you've planted your 10 claymores you can get more Claymores from the armoury.
Once you've planted all your Claymores, start the file transfer.
You're more likely to get this on Veteran I think, as you need to camp more on that difficulty.

Can confirm that reverting back to checkpoints doesn’t reset your progress towards this

After fighting through the forest, you will come to a road. Run up to the safehouse and beginning planting claymores as the enemies exit their vehicles. To get this Achievement you must blow up 11 enemies with Claymore mines on the level Loose Ends.
It is easy doing this at the beginning of the level with the fog & you can blow up more than 1 enemy with a mine.
Always jump backwards after placing a Claymore & there is more of them in the house’s armory if you run out.

In Mission 15, 'Loose Ends', you are tasked with infiltrating a safe house in hopes of finding and capturing Makarov. On your approach to the safe house, you fight your way through a wooded area and a solar panel field. You can attempt the achievement here but you will probably only get one kill per claymore and won't be able to resupply until you clear the house.
Making your way up the road leading to the safe house, two trucks will drive by. Ignore them (as they are indestructible by you) and quickly proceed towards the safe house. If you are fast enough, you will see two trucks pulling up. Quickly switch to your claymores by pressing
while sprinting up and start planting them near the truck doors as the enemies are getting out. They will most likely explode immediately, but outside the house, you should be able to get at least 5-7 kills with just a few claymores.
You can breach any door you want, but there is a room off to the side of the front door that has approximately six enemies in it. If you breach and are quick enough, you can finish off the achievement here. If you do not, there is a supply crate in the basement where you can restock your supply of claymores. As you are downloading the information, you must defend the site, so if the achievement hasn't unlocked yet, plant claymores around all of the exit doors and resupply as necessary until this unlocks.
