How to unlock the Ends Justify the Means achievement in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered - Definitive Guide

There is an exploit that allows you to play the game on Recruit difficulty and still complete missions on Veteran.
Instructions:
- Mission select on recruit difficulty
- Play to the final checkpoint.
- Save and Quit.
- Mission select the same mission on Veteran
- Quit immediately upon loading
- Load the game and "Resume Game"
- You'll be at the last checkpoint, and on Veteran difficulty. Complete the mission.

Thank you for the time stamps on these. I tend to use your guides when available on other games (Golf with Friends being the main one) too cos of how reliable you are

Follow your leader and snipe/sneak into the facility. Once you regroup, use the Predator missile and eliminate the enemies. Once you're done, you will enter the main facility and you have about two minutes to reach the sub. Use the Predator missile on the helicopter/tank and kill the enemies, rush to the right and get out at the fence. Kill the enemy near the garbage and use another Predator missile at the vehicles. If you do this quickly enough, you will get a checkpoint. Use the Predator missile to clear the enemies after this and run towards the sub. Once there, kill the enemies and climb the ladder with your teammates and use the Predator missile at the enemy vehicles.
