Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered

All the enemies you encounter prior to putting on the ski goggles can be eliminated.

After you’ve put on the ski goggles Soap will go up the cliff. Keep an eye on your heartbeat sensor (Baby Monitor) to keep track of the enemies. You need to crouch walk your way to the car that’s parked on the opposite side of the road from where you are. There are two enemies in this area that Soap will need to take out. First one will be behind the car, the second one will be walking to the left side of the road from the small building.

Once Soap has taken them out, stick to the left side and walk up the small set of stairs and you’ll see some boxes in front of you. Crouch next to the boxes until the vehicle has gone past. Once it’s gone, turn left and stick to the right side of the road whilst crouching. Then turn right once you’re past the building.

The last enemy will be on the hill in front of you, let Soap take him out. Then crouch walk your way to the C4 placement.

You will have done it correctly if Soap says "No kills, no alerts, impressive Roach."

Simply load up the 3rd level of the campaign 'Cliffhanger'. After killing the first two groups of enemies with Captain MacTavish, you both go your seperate ways and you put a ski mask on (from here on you cannot alert, or kill any enemies). In my video I traverse the level as follows (note that I did all of this crouched and walking to minimise chance of alerting enemies):

1) Turn left around the gate, waiting for the two enemies to pass by and be shot by your teammate
2) Climb up to the left and hide next to the boxes that are next to the road (staying back from the road), you must wait for the truck to go past you
3) Cross the road and hug the right side of the wall, taking your next right turn
4) As you turn, have the enemy that is on your right, in your sights so that your teammate can elimate him
5) Turn towards and face the objective marker, head straight there (ignoring your teammate along the way)
6) Plant the C4!

Mission 3 Cliffhanger
Difficulty: Recruit

Early on you will reach a base. You need to plant C4 at the other end of the base. Use your heartbeat sensor to avoid enemies and reload the checkpoint if you get spotted. It is ok for your CPU teammate to eliminate enemies in your way.

You'll reach a base early on which you must plant C4 at the other base end. Your heartbeat sensor would be your best bet to avoid enemies. If you alert any enemies, restart last checkpoint (or mission if it checkpoints after that point) to try again.


It's ok for your partner to shoot and kill enemies along the way. Achievement/trophy pops if successful.

This also applies to the 360 version too.

To get this Achievement you must plant the C4 in the base during the blizzard without harming or alerting enemies on the level Cliffhanger.

Let MacTavish snipe enemies & don’t rush to avoid getting spotted.

Watch out for trucks & the BMP with headlights since it has thermal sights, which can see you.

The no injury & spotted penalties start as soon as you put on your goggles.
