How to unlock the Off the Grid achievement in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered - Definitive Guide

There is an exploit that allows you to play the game on Recruit difficulty and still complete missions on Veteran.
Instructions:
- Mission select on recruit difficulty
- Play to the final checkpoint.
- Save and Quit.
- Mission select the same mission on Veteran
- Quit immediately upon loading
- Load the game and "Resume Game"
- You'll be at the last checkpoint, and on Veteran difficulty. Complete the mission.

There is an exploit that allows you to play the game on Recruit difficulty and still complete missions on Veteran.

Just Like Old Times: Just follow your leader and only kill when he tells you to. Once you make it to the smoke room, flank the enemies and follow the lead. In the next room, flank the next enemies and get ready for a breach. When you breach, watch your fire as there are explosives in this room. Now, activate the console and get out. Kill the enemies outside and move on to the cave.

End Game: Drive the boat and only focus on that. Shoot only if necessary.
