How to unlock the The Student Surpasses the Master achievement in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered - Definitive Guide
For this you need to beat the time of 19.7 seconds.
A good way of doing this I think is with the M9 and the Desert Eagle, I would recommend that you always revert to last checkpoint when you reach the end of the course as the enemies will always be in the same locations. If you were to do it 3-4 times in a row sometimes some of the enemies will be in different spots which can throw you off.
First off, I would recommend running the course a few times to get a feel of where the enemy targets are by reverting to last checkpoint.
For this you will want to get as many double kills as possible, not miss any of your shots and don’t hit civilians. Also, whilst aiming your gun at the targets make sure you’re moving so you can cover more ground faster.
As you run out the gate there will be three targets, shoot the guy on the left and get a double kill with the target on the right with the target in the small window. Move a bit more forward to take out the two enemies that appear. Then there will be five targets for you to shoot, try and get a double kill with the target behind the cover in front of you with the target in the bottom window. Then shoot the two targets in the upper windows and the guy in the door.
Once inside shoot the guy on the left and get a double kill with the two targets on the right. Go up the stairs and knife the guy, then try and get 2 double kills with the 4 targets that appear.
When you drop down switch to your Desert Eagle and try and get 3 double kills with the six targets the appear. Start with the people on the left side, then the right and lastly with the one’s in the middle. Then run to the finish.
If you're still struggling, feel free to use this as a reference.
Hope this helped.

Beat the BX time of 19.70
I find this to be tougher than the ship course Best of the best achievement in Modern warfare, This will require alot of luck if you arent restarting from checkpoint, what you could do is restart the level and if its an easier spawning pattern for the targets like you see in most of the video guides restart checkpoints from then, if your following a guide with your exact pattern it makes it 10 times more simple doesn't it?, but still it takes a tremendous amount of skill and patience if you cant do it after a few runs take a break and come back later no doubt your hands will be killing you, The recommended loadout to use would be two pistols (an M9 and a USP-45) because they shoot one bullet a time meaning your accuracy level will be alot higher, remember the higher your accuracy the more seconds that are deducted from your final time meaning you could complete it in 26 seconds but if its all done with one shot and doubles you'll probably still hit 19.60!
The loadout i used was a bit different so i wasn't doing one shot but still managed it either way, i used the MP5K and the M9 pistol since there already there to take for your first run and luckily my first run had a much easier pattern so I was able to restart checkpoint from there, for the start i always go through the gate then position myself with the starting area remember the timer doesn't start once you go through the gate if you stay slightly to the left you can turn to your right and prepare just so your not getting caught on any annoying glitched invisible walls on the boxes by rushing through the gate at the start you could loose your speed too, i use the MP5K until i enter the first room then i switch to my M9 from then on getting doubles along the way obviously, getting over 100% accuracy is a must if you want to have any chance of getting a great final time.
If you think your bullets aren't registering its only because your not aiming down sights for just that little milasecond longer, it was an issue back in the day too.
Here is a slowed version of the pattern I had which was the easiest for me, you'll see the only double kills I went for were before you enter the first building, after you enter the two to your right, upstairs you can get a further 2 doubles and 3 when you hit the ground in the next area, be sure to jump forward for speed.
Good luck hope this adds to the guide above and if you did it first try..... "I don't know you and I don't care to know you"
The BX time stands for BEENOX the game company that brought you this remaster.

Sorry I'll try to get that issue fixed, the written guide should still work in the mean time though. Thanks for letting me know

I found that repeatedly going round the targets really didn’t line up on the lead up to the bunker at the start. I did notice that if you reload the checkpoint for each try that all 3 targets ending with the guy in the doorway firing from the target on the far right were always lined up. A couple of tries on that after 40 minutes practice and I got the time down to 19.4.

I'd like to add that perfection is not necessary. I kept noticing after "failed" runs that e.g. if I had simply killed all the targets then I would be well below 19.7.
At the entrance to the building is one of the toughest parts because the lower floor window target and the guy behind the sandbags outside don't always easily line up, so I just shot all of these targets individually without bothering to line up double kills.
On the upper floor of the building, the two targets on the left didn't line up on the run I got the achievement, so I just went way to the left and made them line up which probably cost me a second or two.
On the third part, I aimed at the first set of targets but hipfired point blank for the other two sets of targets. The time I saved not aiming down the sight here is what got me back all the time I lost in the previous two sections and I finished with 19.5.

Mission 1 S.S.D.D.
After completing the tutorial, you will head into the pit. BX's time is 19.7 seconds. This will take a lot of practice, but you need to focus on your accuracy and getting double and triple kills along your run. High accuracy will reduce your overall time. To help with this, I recommend taking the M9 and Desert Eagle pistols. This will take a bit of luck for the targets to line up for easy double and triple kills. Along the way you should beat 30 seconds and earn the Pit Boss achievement / trophy.

So this achievement was extremely difficult for me. Took me 9 hours total. I did mine in 18.20. You dont HAVE to rush to beat the 19.70 time that is required for the achievement. We are not going for a world record. I preferred using the m9 and the USP which is what I'll be using for this guide. I didnt like the accuracy on the desert eagle and you have a knife that comes with the USP that will be useful later. You can find the USP after learning to shoot and throw grenades. There is a table to your right past the table with the sniper rifle that you can find the gun.
It is recommended that you shoot every target, dont shoot any civilians, and make every shot count which will count towards your accuracy time. I would also recommend doing this course a few times before trying for the achievement. Even if you make a mistake, still finish the course. As others have said, i would restart your checkpoint every time because if you dont civilians and enemy targets can be in different positions. Though not every person has the same target positions from the start.
Start the run with the m9. When you run out the gate you will have 3 targets. You will want to shoot the one on the left and then double kill the two other targets.
You will move forward and take out the two targets. I would recommend taking out the left and then the right.
You will move forward to the right. The next part there will be 5 targets. You will want to shoot the target in the top right window. Then the other target on the top floor. You will then double kill the target right in front of you with the target in the bottom window. Then shoot the target in the doorway and move forward.
This next section there is 3 targets. You will shoot the enemy on the left, move a little forward, and double kill the two targets on the right.
Switch to the USP as you run up the stairs. Having the knife right there will save you a second as you knife the enemy at the top of the stairs.
There will be 4 enemies at this next section. You will double kill the left two. Then double kill the other two. For me, the two left targets were in an odd position to where i had to run to the most left target and double kill from there.
Then you will hop down where there will be 6 targets you will need to double kill. This is another section to where the position of the targets differ. For me the two left targets were right in front of the other so i could double kill with no problem. First you will double kill the two on your left. Move forward and double kill the two on the right making sure you are careful not to shoot any civilians. Then double kill the last two in front of you. Now sprint towards the finish. If you double killed the enemy targets listed, you will have an accuracy bonus of 8 second which is a 160% i think.
If you didnt beat the time, keep practicing. Arkinvader99 gave some good advice in the comment section of another guide. If you need to take things slow so you can get into the pattern, take it slow. Try a difficult section a few times so you can get the hang of it. Remember, it took me 9 hours to finally beat it. I will also post the video showing how I did it. I lost count of how many times i had to restart because i know i shot the target but it didnt register it.

Beat BX time in SSDD.
BX time is 19.7. If you're unsuccessful, keep practicing.
You'll get a time penalty if you do the following:
1. Kill a civialian.
2. Miss a target.
This may take skill and time, but my accuracy was 160%. If your accuracy is so, you'll win 8 seconds of your time. Achievement/trophy pops if the target time is less than 19.7.
Note to self: You'll also unlock the "Pit Boss" achievement/trophy for finishing in less than 30S.
Another thing is that BX stands for Beenox.

To unlock this, you need to complete The Pit training course in 'S.S.D.D.' in less than 19.7 seconds.
To get this, you are going to have to replay the course many many times. This requires a perfect run; being very quick and extremely accurate, getting one hit on multiple targets whenever possible and not hitting any civilians.
The same rules apply to what was said in the "Pit Boss" achievement, but for this achievement, you need to do it faster and more accurate. The more accurate you are, the more time is deducted from your course time. You could potentially have 8-10 seconds deducted from your run for having perfect accuracy. There’s really not much else that can be said except practice, practice and practice.
