How to unlock the The Ultimatum achievement in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered - Definitive Guide

Not a full on solution to your veteran problems but just a tip, you can take out those armored vehicles in the mission "all in" with rpgs instead of c4 (the game tells you to use c4), there's a bunch in the container to the right when you first go through the gate at the start, plus you can bring some from the previous mission... Might save you a headache

E4chin has added that there is a javelin up some stairs to the right before you go through the gate they blow open as well.(right before you have to kill two of them in the final battle of the mission)

Even better than the RPG's there's a Javelin you can use against the two armored vehicles that patrol the missile silos. it up a set of stairs before you go though the gate they blow open.

I'll add it. Thanks. I wasn't planning on making a solution I just figured the rpg method is alot easier than trying to c4, but yea a javelin is much better for the final two.

Honestly blowing them up with c4 was not that hard. When you enter one is nearby, pop smoke run up and plant. As you retreat back to previous position blow it. Clear the right side and wait for second to be near cover shell area, pop smoke, run and plant. Again blow as you run back to previous position. Follow your guys to the next area and repel. Done.

You only need to do the mission in the lowest difficulty to unlock it if you have already completed the game on Veteran.

Can confirm that if you have it completed the 3 missions on veteran and the achievement does not unlock, you can play through “no fighting in the war room” on recruit, and the achievement will unlock.

Helpful Tip: If you move too slowly through War Room you wont get checkpoints.

See Deep and Hard for general Veteran Tips.

Ultimatum:
Nothing too difficult or out of the ordinary here. The only extra tips I'll mention for this one specifically are to check the rooftops as there are several enemies on the top of buildings during this mission. And that there are at least a couple of occasions when you can easily kill reinforcements as they rappel down from their choppers.

All In:
Use your smoke grenades to approach the first 2 tanks and destroy them with C4. The third one is easier to take out with an RPG though, due to all the enemies surrounding it. You need 2 rockets to finish it off and there are 2 on the floor in the open hangar along the right side from where you enter the area.

No Fighting in the War Room:
When you first start playing this mission you’ll notice the distinct lack of checkpoints. Don’t worry though, after you’ve died a couple of times it will start giving you checkpoints at the usual intervals. This mission is all about learning the locations of the enemies so you can push up safely but quickly due to the count down.

When you get to the corridor that is blocked off with wooden crates, where you need to go right or left to continue, I recommend running up to the crates and using them as cover to take out the enemies further down the corridor. It’s quicker and easier to take them out here than leave them until later. The corridors that go off to the right and left here both have enemies down at the end making it difficult to take any of them out as the ones down the corridor on the opposite side will shoot you in the back while you’re doing so. Throw grenades down there from an angle so they bounce off the wall down to the end or equip your grenade launcher and quickly side step past shooting a grenade down there as you do.

To unlock The Ultimatum trophy in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, you must complete the Ultimatum, All In and No Fighting in the War Room missions on Veteran difficulty.

Playing on Veteran difficulty isn't too hard, but there is a glitch that you can use to complete each mission on Veteran difficulty whilst playing the vast majority of the time on recruit.

The way the glitch works, is you play the mission on recruit difficulty until you get to the final checkpoint of the level. Return to the main start screen, go to Mission Select, choose the mission you have just been playing and select Veteran difficulty. As soon as the mission begins to load, quit to your console dashboard and close the game completely. Restart the game, and go choose Resume Game, and your progress will be saved at the last checkpoint, but you will now be on Veteran difficulty.

You can find a list of all of the last checkpoints for each mission in the game and a video showing how to use the glitch here:

I read the reviews, many complain that it was very difficult in the bunker. My advice is to take a shotgun from the previous mission at the launch pad. In the remaster it turned out to be such an implication - there is absolutely no need to aim, just shoot into the corridor where the enemy is standing and the job is done. It one-shots at short and medium distances even through walls, sometimes even 2-3 enemies at a time, but the truth is that at distances above average it doesn’t even reach the target, but these are trifles, you are unlikely to encounter such a thing in a bunker.

The mission in the bunker must be completed as quickly as possible, then there will be checkpoints on the veteran, the first will be on the stairs at about 7:40, the second after the warehouse with boxes at about 5:40, the third in front of the door in the bunker. If you go slowly, there will be no checkpoints..

Well, you can overuse saving. You start on Newbie, reach 1 checkpoint > save and exit > start the mission on Veteran and when loading, close the game via PS, enter the game, click continue and for a place of 9 minutes you will have 15
