During Mission 4: Proxy War, at the start of the level grab the Kar98k sniper rifle resting on the crate in front of you. After regrouping, and storming the base upon the missile strike, sprint through all the enemies to spot 2 helicopters flying in around the base including one coming in for a landing. Line up the shot, hold your breath, and hit the pilot to bring the chopper down, unlocking the achievement.
Additionally, you can reload the checkpoint and grab all 3 of these achievements in the same spot:

Crash a helicopter by shooting the pilot.
When you start of the mission Proxy War you will want to grab the Kar98K from the box on the left-hand side just before the stairs. As you assault the air field there will be multiple helicopters you can try and shoot the pilot out of. This video will show you how to unlock both Long way Down & Wild Fire achievements.

In Mission 4: Proxy War after infiltrating the base, use a weapon to shoot towards the pilot of one of the two helicopters. After taking it down, you will get this achievement.
You can also get two additional achievements here by simply running close to or under one of these helicopters then throwing a molotov at it. This will get you the following achievements at the same time:

heya guys
i made a 3 in 1 achievement guide on how to get ashes to ashes, long way down & wild fire at the same time in the same mission
the mission is ofc proxy war
you can do all of these at the same point using the same helicopter
just simply complete one achievement then instantly reload the last checkpoint and do the next achievement , then do it again
i made a video guide below which is simple and easy to follow :)

At the start of the mission Proxy War you will want to grab the Kar98K from the box on the left-hand side just before the stairs. Follow your comrades into the compound and you will encounter two helicopters. Shoot the pilot of the helicopters with the Kar98K and you will get the achievement.

This achievement is easiest unlocked on Mission 4: Proxy War. After infiltrating the base right at the start of the mission you will have to take down two helicopters, instead of using your RC Plane to blow up the helicopter, shoot and kill the pilot to earn this achievement.
You can also unlock "Wild Fire" at this point aswell.

You can do this on the 4th Mission Proxy War. When the mission begins grab the Kar Sniper Rifle. Once you storm the airfield hang to the left like i did and stop right before the helicopters, line up a shot on the right helicopter pilot and take him out.

All three of these can be completed as you rush the base on Proxy War. Make sure you grab Hadir's sniper at the beginning of the mission. Now rush forward to the helipad and try to snipe the pilot of the closer helicopter. Reload the checkpoint and now throw a molotov at the same helicopter. Finally, reload again and run to the left side of the helipad, causing enemies to funnel in from the right and toss a molotov into a group of 4+.

Mission 4: "Proxy War"
A really easy and reliable spot to get this achievement is in the fourth mission. Shortly after the mission starts and you get inside the base, you'll be told to press
to fly drone planes. Instead of doing this, go over to the trucks and aim for the helicopter hovering in the middle. It may take a couple tries to actually hit the pilot, but the checkpoint is right at the helicopter, making it easy to retry.
