Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

There are a total of 14 missions in the game that you'll need to complete on either Veteran or Realism difficulty to unlock this achievement. If you play through initially on an easier difficulty, each mission can be replayed on Veteran to unlock this achievement.

In general, this game on Veteran is far easier than most other Call of Duty games. There are no unlimited spawning enemies, and there are an abundance of checkpoints. Many missions also have allies working with you, and they're quite useful in this game. Grenade spam is almost nonexistent in this game, I found. The strategy is the same as any COD game on Veteran: stick behind cover and only pop out to shoot at an enemy or two before retreating and letting your health regenerate. Most missions are broken down into sections with a set number of enemies, and once you kill them all you're set to move on safely. Don't rush, since there's no need to. Take your time and safely kill all the enemies before coming out of cover.

There are only a few instances where specific enemies are programmed to do far greater damage than normal: MG nests, snipers, and enemies with RPGs. In general though, the game basically walks you through what to do in each mission to push forward and progress. As with all COD games on Veteran, there is some trial and error in terms of learning enemy locations and how to avoid getting shot, but far fewer attempts will be required than in other previous games. One final tip is, during the final mission, don't use any grenade launcher shots when the game prompts you to do so. Instead, save them for the "boss fight" toward the end of the mission. You'll be glad you did.
