During Mission 4: Proxy War, you'll regroup with the troops, and storm the base upon the missile strike, sprint through all the enemies to spot 2 helicopters flying in around the base including one coming in for a landing. Use RB to throw a molotov and strike the low flying helicopter to instantly take it down and gain the achievement. If it also has 4+ passengers you may grab another achievement automatically.
Additionally, you can reload the checkpoint and grab all 3 of these achievements in the same spot:

- Shortly after storming the walls you will get a Checkpoint right before a group of enemies including 2 helicopters
- You can get all 3 of these Cheevs by just reloading the checkpoint until you get all 3.
The Long Way Down achievement in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare worth 43 pointsCrash a helicopter by shooting the pilot.

+ With every miscellaneous Achievement use "Reload Checkpoint" to your advantage, also difficulty won't void any of these so you can do them all on Recruit

The first and easiest mission to unlock this is Mission 4: Proxy War. When you infiltrate the base right at the start of the mission you will have to take down two helicopters, instead of using your RC Plane just get close enough to a helicopter where you can throw your Molotov Cocktail with 
, any direct hit on the heli with the Molotov will bring it down.
You can also unlock "The Long Way Down" at this point aswell, just shoot down the second helicopter by killing its pilot.

You can obtain this on Mission 4 Proxy War. As soon as you storm the airfield go left and run at the landing helicopter. Throw a molotov at the top of the chopper and it should take it down no problem.

You will now encounter another helicopter just run out into the open and throw the Molotov cocktail at the helicopter and you’ll get the achievement. If you miss just restart checkpoint and try again. This video will show you how to unlock the achievements Wild Fire & Long way Down.

On the mission Proxy War, complete it as normal until your teammates open a gate by using a truck. You will then encounter another helicopter. Take care of all the enemies and get to the end of the buildings. Then just run out into the open and throw the Molotov cocktail at the helicopter and you’ll get the achievement.

At the beginning of Mission 4 (Proxy War) you are easily able to unlock this achievement as well as two others.
For Wild Fire, after infiltrating the base sprint cover to cover until you can get close enough/under a helicopter that is taking off. Once you're close enough, throw a molotov and it should take it down. This will also give you the "Ashes to Ashes" achievement as 4 enemies are on the helicopter itself.

Load up Mission 4: Proxy War. Once you enter the air base, you will find two helicopters with one landing with enemies. Simply toss a molotov at the base of the helicopter and the achievement should pop!

Mission 4: "Proxy War"
There is a really easy spot to get this in the fourth mission. If you use the solution in Ashes to Ashes (25G), you'll get this achievement naturally then. If you're playing on Veteran and can't get it there, there is an even easier spot to get this achievement. Right after the truck backs into the airfield gate to ram it open, you'll charge forward with everyone and then a helicopter will pop out and gun down a lot of people. It flies directly toward you and over you, and for some reason doesn't shoot you. This is a perfect opportunity to line up a molotov and throw it up at the helicopter as it approaches. Aim decently high to make sure you hit it. If you miss, the checkpoint is right there to reload and try again.
