How to unlock the It's a Trap! achievement in Call of Duty: World at War - Definitive Guide
Getting the crawler is the key - he wont be able to move fast enough to get caught in the traps and that will allow you to move around freely.
There are five traps in Shi No Numa, The Fogger, which is a giant spike machine located above the entrance to The Fishing Hut, and an electric trap at the door of every Hut (Where the perk machines generate)
Knowing this, you need to save a lot of money, this also requires luck. What I did was (This was around round 12) I started and went into the Fishing Hut side of the level, and activated the Fogger, after activating it, I ran to the Fishing Hut (By this time zombies have spawned from the water) and flipped the electric trap, after the trap wore off, I bolted to the Doctor's Hut and flipped the electric trap there, killing zombies and unlocking the achievement.
Please note, that it does not matter what order of huts you go to, as long as you kill at least one zombie with three traps in one round.
Good luck!
What we did was buy the Trench Gun and Thompson in the Random Box area; the Trench Gun is awesome on the Devil Dogs. We waited until after the first Devil Dog round (because the round-change timing seems to be longer after those rounds) and immediately booked it to the Fishing Hut first, turned on the barrier, immediately ran past the Flogger and turned it on (making sure at least one zombie was following us), then towards the Doctor's Quarters and turned on the barrier there. Perfect! Great solution.
8,250 points in total.
get '1' last zombie preferrably on the floor, throw grenades, molotov cocktails prefferably, and then open fishing huts because new zombies come out of the water, open the door and then straight away turn the electric barrier, 3 zombies will then be killed.
do it for storage and then doctors quarters and you'll have it in no time
good luck.

Maybe it'll work for whoever needs it, I find this video to be one of the best but there are probably better ones out there.

The biggest benefit of using this particular path is that you NEVER have to run through any swamp (which slows you to a crawl), and your path remains almost entirely clear of any zombies (when you take the zip line to the main building you leave most zombies behind you in the Doctor's swamp, and activating the flogger behind you prevents anything from sneaking up behind you before you make it to the fish hut).
There are really only 3 likely places where you could die. #1- inside the Doctor's Quarters while the fence is on (keep an eye on the windows and make sure you don't get swarmed before the fence turns off). #2- at the door to the Doctor's. This is the toughest part- once the fence goes off, you need to somehow make your way past the zombies at the entrance and to the zip line. #3- the path to the fish hut. This is usually very sparsely populated thanks to your trick with the zip line, so be alert. It'd be a shame to die after you've already come so close.
Don't open the stairs, open the gate. That will give you a very good spot between the stairs and the Comm Room gate to shoot without being attacked from behind. It also gives you a pretty good chance at making a crawler with a grenade.
I would also suggest that after you make your crawler move to the Doctor's Quarters gate (but DONT open it) and let the crawler follow you just to give yourself a little extra time. Then when he is close open the Fish Hut gate and hit the Flogger. After getting that kill immediately run to the Doctors Quarters and open the gate to get that trap. Then make your way back to the Comm Room gate and open that one. I would suggest avoiding Storage since you will have to run through water which makes you slower. The others are mostly land running so they are easier.
I bought an Arisaka off the wall at the beginning then hit the mystery box after opening the gate and got an STG-44 which was good. Tempting fate I hit it again a right before dogs and got a FG42 also a good gun. Buying a Thompson would also work and is less risky, but it is 200 points more expensive. I found that doing this solo is a lot easier than trying with a group of 4.
Ok this trophy might sound or seem difficult but it isn't, just be sure to have all the doors open (there are 8 in total). The traps that count for this trophy are the doors with the perks and have a switch that activates the electrical trap. To get this trophy efficiently you must have Juggernaut and have either a horde of 15-20 zombies or 5-6 crawlers. Crawlers are easier as they can't kill you, are easier to run away from and they're easier to use as they follow you at a slow or rapid pace (depending on distance) and can give you some breathing room. Be sure to turn the trap on whilst they're a few feet away. If they drop a Ka-Boom then let it disappear. For the traps to activate correctly you must have the corresponding door opened.
Note: The Flogger doesn't count for this trophy. For those who aren't familiar with this, it's the giant spinning spike trap next to where you buy the Bouncing Betties.
