Story related, cannot be missed.
Beneath the Ice is the final map of the Tortured Path.

I find it a bit easier than the second map, but that’s just purely my own opinion. The boss fight is the hardest one though.

I recommend using a loadout with Frontline, and for mods equip Vicious, Team Effort(co-op)/Determination(solo), and Lucky Crit/Fully Loaded.
Vicious allows you to do triple damage when using Frontline; Determination gives you free armour when activating it, whereas Team Effort gives your teammates the same damage bonus; Lucky Crit makes you do tons of damage on hitting weakpoints, useful with fully auto weapons, whereas Fully Loaded gives you more ammo.

For weapons, equip the 9mm SAP and Sticky Grenades. Do not ever get rid of the SAP! It’s the best weapon in the game when PaP! Also look out for a SVT or M1A1 Carbine, as these ones PaP are insanely powerful!

Here’s what you should plan to do on each wave:

  1. Power up the battery in the back left corner. Also spend 500 points on starting weapons nonstop until you get Jacks.
  2. Save your points to buy an SMG if you don’t get Jacks early on.
  3. Objective Wave
  4. Power up the battery near the supply drop. Also keep spinning for Jacks if you didn’t get them. Try to get an M1A1 or a SVT once you get the Jacks. Start buying perks, starting with Damage first, followed by Reload, Sprint, and Electric Reload/Quick Revive.
  5. Kill enemies, nothing special.
  6. Objective Wave.
  7. Power up final battery next to PaP. PaP your SAP first, then the other weapon.
  8. Kill enemies, nothing special.
  9. Objective Wave.
  10. Boss Fight!
  11. Escape!

Objective Waves:

  • Repair all the points in time.
  • Kill all special zombies (Bombers or Gecholts).
  • Defeat the Meistermeuchlers.
  • Kill the V.I.Z. before it reaches its destination.
  • Defend the Supplies.
  • Kill the Gecholts before they kill other zombies.
  • Get kills near the Sacrificial Stones.

Boss Fight: Guardian.
He will spawn in the centre room and follow you around the map. He has a few attacks, mainly pounding the ground and sucking you towards him with a black hole-like effect.

The safest and best way to beat him is to escort him around the outer edge of the map, while shooting his head with your SAP. Alternately if playing solo, any weapon with Lucky Crit will take off a lot of his health! But for co-op, the SAP is best.

As you damage him, he will sometimes go to the centre room to heal. When he does this, look up and shoot the hanging heads to stop them from healing him. After this, he will fall down for a few seconds. Use this time to activate Frontline and spam your PaP SAP into his face! Throw Jacks if you have any as well.

Escape!
Like the other maps, the escape is very easy. You have to be at the spawn when the timer runs out. I prefer to just run a train of zombies around far away from the exit, then running into the exit as time expires, whereas some people like to stand in the circle and kill nonstop. Do whatever you’re comfortable with.

Once you complete the escape, the trophy will pop!
