How to unlock the Something Wunderful achievement in Call of Duty: WWII - Definitive Guide
- You need to collect the wunderbattery for the Wunderbuss.
The wunderbattery appears in one of three locations:
In the Cabaret next to the M1928 wallbuy;
In the Museum next to the Armor station;
In the Museum next to the Faustblitz Machine.
- Next, you will need to input the correct frequency on the radio located in Main Street.
To know the right frequency you will need to check the code on top of the radio itself and
you must now head over to the Church.
At the church, use the code printed on the radio and the location of the map marker to get the frequency from the chart, to the left of the map.
Once you have the right frequency head back to the Main street and input it on the radio.
- Head to the Plaza area and once there find a locked box then shoot the lock and melee the flare box to launch a flare.
- Now some normal zombies will tranform into sizzler/gekocht zombies. Kill a sizzler zombie with a melee weapon to collect the Geistbolt piece for the Wunderbuss.
- Head the basement and place the Wunderbuss battery in the door across from the Type 100 wallbuy. Once placed, go behind the generator where you placed it in and pick it back up. You are now trapped in the room. Place the wunderbattery and the Geistbolt on the weapon crafting station. Pick up the Wunderbuss and shoot the generator you placed the battery in and after it is filled up with enough energy it will re-open permanently.
Video Guide:
Try to get the weapon built by round 6/7 so u can get an early start. Here's a video on building the weapon, it's quite easy compared to previous maps
TLDR: Don't kill zombies and just keep training and picking off the sizzlers as they spawn in every 40 or so seconds
See step 2 of Stadtjäger Down for details on assembling the special weapon, the Wunderbuss. Once you get it, you’ll need to kill 50 Gekocht (the fast zombies that the zeppelin converts) with the beam attack. The way I recommend doing this is to train zombies on Main Street or outside the Church and waiting patiently for the regular zombies to be transformed into Gekocht. Once they do, kill them, and when you run out of ammo, start using the remaining zombies to charge the weapon back up, and repeat the process. If you have any handy, you may want to bring max ammo consumables along with you instead. This is a fairly long process, it took over an hour for a friend and I to both get the trophy despite only reaching round 9. Stamin-Up is highly recommended for this, plus the weapon damage blitz will help you save ammo. This seemingly popped before I hit 50, so this may be glitched in a good way.
